Giobbe 16

Job 16:1 ^
And Job made answer and said,
Giobbe 16:1 ^
Allora Giobbe rispose e disse:
Job 16:2 ^
Such things have frequently come to my ears: you are comforters who only give trouble.
Giobbe 16:2 ^
"Di cose come codeste, ne ho udite tante! Siete tutti dei consolatori molesti!
Job 16:3 ^
May words which are like the wind be stopped? or what is troubling you to make answer to them?
Giobbe 16:3 ^
Non ci sarà egli una fine alle parole vane? Che cosa ti provoca a rispondere?
Job 16:4 ^
It would not be hard for me to say such things if your souls were in my soul's place; joining words together against you, and shaking my head at you:
Giobbe 16:4 ^
Anch’io potrei parlare come voi, se voi foste al posto mio; potrei mettere assieme delle parole contro a voi e su di voi scrollare il capo;
Job 16:5 ^
I might give you strength with my mouth, and not keep back the comfort of my lips.
Giobbe 16:5 ^
potrei farvi coraggio con la bocca; e il conforto delle mie labbra vi calmerebbe.
Job 16:6 ^
If I say what is in my mind, my pain becomes no less: and if I keep quiet, how much of it goes from me?
Giobbe 16:6 ^
Se parlo, il mio dolore non ne sarà lenito; e se cesso di parlare, che sollievo ne avrò?
Job 16:7 ^
But now he has overcome me with weariness and fear, and I am in the grip of all my trouble.
Giobbe 16:7 ^
Ora, purtroppo, Dio m’ha ridotto senza forze, ha desolato tutta la mia casa;
Job 16:8 ^
It has come up as a witness against me, and the wasting of my flesh makes answer to my face.
Giobbe 16:8 ^
m’ha coperto di grinze e questo testimonia contro a me, la mia magrezza si leva ad accusarmi in faccia.
Job 16:9 ^
I am broken by his wrath, and his hate has gone after me; he has made his teeth sharp against me: my haters are looking on me with cruel eyes;
Giobbe 16:9 ^
La sua ira mi lacera, mi perseguita, digrigna i denti contro di me. Il mio nemico aguzza gli occhi su di me.
Job 16:10 ^
Their mouths are open wide against me; the blows of his bitter words are falling on my face; all of them come together in a mass against me.
Giobbe 16:10 ^
Apron larga contro a me la bocca, mi percuoton per obbrobrio le guance, si metton tutt’insieme a darmi addosso.
Job 16:11 ^
God gives me over to the power of sinners, sending me violently into the hands of evil-doers.
Giobbe 16:11 ^
Iddio mi dà in balìa degli empi, mi getta in mano dei malvagi.
Job 16:12 ^
I was in comfort, but I have been broken up by his hands; he has taken me by the neck, shaking me to bits; he has put me up as a mark for his arrows.
Giobbe 16:12 ^
Vivevo in pace, ed egli m’ha scosso con violenza, m’ha preso per la nuca, m’ha frantumato, m’ha posto per suo bersaglio.
Job 16:13 ^
His bowmen come round about me; their arrows go through my body without mercy; my life is drained out on the earth.
Giobbe 16:13 ^
I suoi arcieri mi circondano, egli mi trafigge i reni senza pietà, sparge a terra il mio fiele.
Job 16:14 ^
I am broken with wound after wound; he comes rushing on me like a man of war.
Giobbe 16:14 ^
Apre sopra di me breccia su breccia, mi corre addosso come un guerriero.
Job 16:15 ^
I have made haircloth the clothing of my skin, and my horn is rolled in the dust.
Giobbe 16:15 ^
Mi son cucito un cilicio sulla pelle, ho prostrato la mia fronte nella polvere.
Job 16:16 ^
My face is red with weeping, and my eyes are becoming dark;
Giobbe 16:16 ^
Il mio viso è rosso di pianto, e sulle mie palpebre si stende l’ombra di morte.
Job 16:17 ^
Though my hands have done no violent acts, and my prayer is clean.
Giobbe 16:17 ^
Eppure, le mie mani non commisero mai violenza, e la mia preghiera fu sempre pura.
Job 16:18 ^
O earth, let not my blood be covered, and let my cry have no resting-place!
Giobbe 16:18 ^
O terra, non coprire il mio sangue, e non vi sia luogo ove si fermi il mio grido!
Job 16:19 ^
Even now my witness is in heaven, and the supporter of my cause is on high.
Giobbe 16:19 ^
Già fin d’ora, ecco, il mio Testimonio è in cielo, il mio Garante è nei luoghi altissimi.
Job 16:20 ^
My friends make sport of me; to God my eyes are weeping,
Giobbe 16:20 ^
Gli amici mi deridono, ma a Dio si volgon piangenti gli occhi miei;
Job 16:21 ^
So that he may give decision for a man in his cause with God, and between a son of man and his neighbour.
Giobbe 16:21 ^
sostenga egli le ragioni dell’uomo presso Dio, le ragioni del figliuol d’uomo contro i suoi compagni!
Job 16:22 ^
For in a short time I will take the journey from which I will not come back.
Giobbe 16:22 ^
Poiché, pochi anni ancora, e me ne andrò per una via senza ritorno.
