Job 37	Giobbe 37
Job 37:1 At this my heart is shaking; it is moved out of its place.	Giobbe 37:1 A tale spettacolo il cuor mi trema e balza fuor del suo luogo.
Job 37:2 Give ear to the rolling noise of his voice; to the hollow sound which goes out of his mouth.	Giobbe 37:2 Udite, udite il fragore della sua voce, il rombo che esce dalla sua bocca!
Job 37:3 He sends it out through all the heaven, and his thunder-flame to the ends of the earth.	Giobbe 37:3 Egli lo lancia sotto tutti i cieli e il suo lampo guizza fino ai lembi della terra.
Job 37:4 After it a voice is sounding, thundering out the word of his power; he does not keep back his thunder-flames; from his mouth his voice is sounding.	Giobbe 37:4 Dopo il lampo, una voce rugge; egli tuona con la sua voce maestosa; e quando s’ode la voce, il fulmine non e già più nella sua mano.
Job 37:5 He does wonders, more than may be searched out; great things of which we have no knowledge;	Giobbe 37:5 Iddio tuona con la sua voce maravigliosamente; grandi cose egli fa che noi non intendiamo.
Job 37:6 For he says to the snow, Make the earth wet; and to the rain-storm, Come down.	Giobbe 37:6 Dice alla neve: "Cadi sulla terra!" lo dice al nembo della pioggia, al nembo delle piogge torrenziali.
Job 37:7 He puts an end to the work of every man, so that all may see his work.	Giobbe 37:7 Rende inerte ogni mano d’uomo, onde tutti i mortali, che son opera sua, imparino a conoscerlo.
Job 37:8 Then the beasts go into their holes, and take their rest.	Giobbe 37:8 Le bestie selvagge vanno nel covo, e stan ritirate entro le tane.
Job 37:9 Out of its place comes the storm-wind, and the cold out of its store-houses.	Giobbe 37:9 Dai recessi del sud viene l’uragano, dagli aquiloni il freddo.
Job 37:10 By the breath of God ice is made, and the wide waters are shut in.	Giobbe 37:10 Al soffio di Dio si forma il ghiaccio e si contrae la distesa dell’acque.
Job 37:11 The thick cloud is weighted with thunder-flame, and the cloud sends out its light;	Giobbe 37:11 Egli carica pure le nubi d’umidità, disperde lontano le nuvole che portano i suoi lampi
Job 37:12 And it goes this way and that, round about, turning itself by his guiding, to do whatever he gives orders to be done, on the face of his world of men,	Giobbe 37:12 ed esse, da lui guidate, vanno vagando nei lor giri per eseguir quanto ei loro comanda sopra la faccia di tutta la terra;
Job 37:13 For a rod, or for a curse, or for mercy, causing it to come on the mark.	Giobbe 37:13 e le manda o come flagello, o come beneficio alla sua terra, o come prova della sua bontà.
Job 37:14 Give ear to this, O Job, and keep quiet in your place; and take note of the wonders worked by God.	Giobbe 37:14 Porgi l’orecchio a questo, o Giobbe; fermati, e considera le maraviglie di Dio!
Job 37:15 Have you knowledge of God's ordering of his works, how he makes the light of his cloud to be seen?	Giobbe 37:15 Sai tu come Iddio le diriga e faccia guizzare il lampo dalle sue nubi?
Job 37:16 Have you knowledge of the balancings of the clouds, the wonders of him who has all wisdom?	Giobbe 37:16 Conosci tu l’equilibrio delle nuvole, le maraviglie di colui la cui scienza è perfetta?
Job 37:17 You, whose clothing is warm, when the earth is quiet because of the south wind,	Giobbe 37:17 Sai tu come mai gli abiti tuoi sono caldi quando la terra s’assopisce sotto il soffio dello scirocco?
Job 37:18 Will you, with him, make the skies smooth, and strong as a polished looking-glass?	Giobbe 37:18 Puoi tu, come lui, distendere i cieli e farli solidi come uno specchio di metallo?
Job 37:19 Make clear to me what we are to say to him; we are unable to put our cause before him, because of the dark.	Giobbe 37:19 Insegnaci tu che dirgli!… Nelle tenebre nostre, noi non abbiam parole.
Job 37:20 How may he have knowledge of my desire for talk with him? or did any man ever say, May destruction come on me?	Giobbe 37:20 Gli si annunzierà forse ch’io voglio parlare? Ma chi mai può bramare d’essere inghiottito?
Job 37:21 And now the light is not seen, for it is dark because of the clouds; but a wind comes, clearing them away.	Giobbe 37:21 Nessuno può fissare il sole che sfolgora ne’ cieli quando v’è passato il vento a renderli tersi.
Job 37:22 A bright light comes out of the north; God's glory is greatly to be feared.	Giobbe 37:22 Dal settentrione viene l’oro; ma Dio è circondato da una maestà terribile;
Job 37:23 There is no searching out of the Ruler of all: his strength and his judging are great; he is full of righteousness, doing no wrong.	Giobbe 37:23 l’Onnipotente noi non lo possiam scoprire. Egli è grande in forza, in equità, in perfetta giustizia; egli non opprime alcuno.
Job 37:24 For this cause men go in fear of him; he has no respect for any who are wise in heart.	Giobbe 37:24 Perciò gli uomini lo temono; ei non degna d’uno sguardo chi si presume savio".
