Job 35	Giobbe 35
Job 35:1 And Elihu made answer and said,	Giobbe 35:1 Poi Elihu riprese il discorso e disse:
Job 35:2 Does it seem to you to be right, and righteousness before God, to say,	Giobbe 35:2 "Credi tu d’aver ragione quando dici: "Dio non si cura della mia giustizia"?
Job 35:3 What profit is it to me, and how am I better off than if I had done wrong?	Giobbe 35:3 Infatti hai detto: "Che mi giova? che guadagno io di più a non peccare?"
Job 35:4 I will make answer to you and to your friends:	Giobbe 35:4 Io ti darò la risposta: a te ed agli amici tuoi.
Job 35:5 Let your eyes be turned to the heavens, and lifted up to see the skies; they are higher than you.	Giobbe 35:5 Considera i cieli, e vedi! guarda le nuvole, come sono più in alto di te!
Job 35:6 If you have done wrong, is he any the worse for it? and if your sins are great in number, what is it to him?	Giobbe 35:6 Se pecchi, che torto gli fai? Se moltiplichi i tuoi misfatti, che danno gli rechi?
Job 35:7 If you are upright, what do you give to him? or what does he take from your hand?	Giobbe 35:7 Se sei giusto, che gli dài? Che ricev’egli dalla tua mano?
Job 35:8 Your evil-doing may have an effect on a man like yourself, or your righteousness on a son of man.	Giobbe 35:8 La tua malvagità non nuoce che al tuo simile, e la tua giustizia non giova che ai figli degli uomini.
Job 35:9 Because the hand of the cruel is hard on them, men are making sounds of grief; they are crying out for help because of the arm of the strong.	Giobbe 35:9 Si grida per le molte oppressioni, si levano lamenti per la violenza dei grandi;
Job 35:10 But no one has said, Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night;	Giobbe 35:10 ma nessuno dice: "Dov’è Dio, il mio creatore, che nella notte concede canti di gioia,
Job 35:11 Who gives us more knowledge than the beasts of the earth, and makes us wiser than the birds of the heaven?	Giobbe 35:11 che ci fa più intelligenti delle bestie de’ campi e più savi degli uccelli del cielo?"
Job 35:12 There they are crying out because of the pride of the evil-doers, but he gives them no answer.	Giobbe 35:12 Si grida, sì, ma egli non risponde, a motivo della superbia dei malvagi.
Job 35:13 But God will not give ear to what is false, or the Ruler of all take note of it;	Giobbe 35:13 Certo, Dio non dà ascolto a lamenti vani; l’Onnipotente non ne fa nessun caso.
Job 35:14 How much less when you say that you do not see him; that the cause is before him, and you are waiting for him.	Giobbe 35:14 E tu, quando dici che non lo scorgi, la causa tua gli sta dinanzi; sappilo aspettare!
Job 35:15 And now ... ;	Giobbe 35:15 Ma ora, perché la sua ira non punisce, perch’egli non prende rigorosa conoscenza delle trasgressioni,
Job 35:16 And Job's mouth is open wide to give out what is of no profit, increasing words without knowledge.	Giobbe 35:16 Giobbe apre vanamente le labbra e accumula parole senza conoscimento".
