Job 26	Giobbe 26
Job 26:1 Then Job made answer and said,	Giobbe 26:1 Allora Giobbe rispose e disse:
Job 26:2 How have you given help to him who has no power! how have you been the salvation of the arm which has no strength!	Giobbe 26:2 "Come hai bene aiutato il debole! Come hai sorretto il braccio senza forza!
Job 26:3 How have you given teaching to him who has no wisdom, and fully made clear true knowledge!	Giobbe 26:3 Come hai ben consigliato chi è privo di sapienza! E che abbondanza di sapere tu gli hai comunicato!
Job 26:4 To whom have your words been said? and whose spirit came out from you?	Giobbe 26:4 Ma a chi ti credi di aver parlato? E di chi è lo spirito che parla per mezzo tuo?
Job 26:5 The shades in the underworld are shaking; the waters and those living in them.	Giobbe 26:5 Dinanzi a Dio tremano le ombre disotto alle acque ed ai loro abitanti.
Job 26:6 The underworld is uncovered before him, and Destruction has no veil.	Giobbe 26:6 Dinanzi a lui il soggiorno dei morti è nudo, l’abisso è senza velo.
Job 26:7 By his hand the north is stretched out in space, and the earth is hanging on nothing.	Giobbe 26:7 Egli distende il settentrione sul vuoto, sospende la terra sul nulla.
Job 26:8 By him the waters are shut up in his thick clouds, and the cloud does not give way under them.	Giobbe 26:8 Rinchiude le acque nelle sue nubi, e le nubi non scoppiano per il peso.
Job 26:9 By him the face of his high seat is veiled, and his cloud stretched out over it.	Giobbe 26:9 Nasconde l’aspetto del suo trono, vi distende sopra le sue nuvole.
Job 26:10 By him a circle is marked out on the face of the waters, to the limits of the light and the dark.	Giobbe 26:10 Ha tracciato un cerchio sulla faccia dell’acque, là dove la luce confina colle tenebre.
Job 26:11 The pillars of heaven are shaking, and are overcome by his sharp words.	Giobbe 26:11 Le colonne del cielo sono scosse, e tremano alla sua minaccia.
Job 26:12 By his power the sea was made quiet; and by his wisdom Rahab was wounded.	Giobbe 26:12 Con la sua forza egli solleva il mare, con la sua intelligenza ne abbatte l’orgoglio.
Job 26:13 By his wind the heavens become bright: by his hand the quickly moving snake was cut through.	Giobbe 26:13 Al suo soffio il cielo torna sereno, la sua mano trafigge il drago fuggente.
Job 26:14 See, these are only the outskirts of his ways; and how small is that which comes to our ears about him! But the thunder of his acts of power is outside all knowledge.	Giobbe 26:14 Ecco, questi non son che gli estremi lembi dell’azione sua. Non ce ne giunge all’orecchio che un breve sussurro; Ma il tuono delle sue potenti opere chi lo può intendere?"
