Psalms 53	Salmos 53
Psalms 53:1 For the Chief Musician; set to Mahalath. Maschil of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity; There is none that doeth good.	Salmos 53:1 Diz o néscio no seu coração: Não há Deus. Corromperam-se e cometeram abominável iniqüidade; não há quem faça o bem.
Psalms 53:2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there were any that did understand, That did seek after God.	Salmos 53:2 Deus olha lá dos céus para os filhos dos homens, para ver se há algum que tenha entendimento, que busque a Deus.
Psalms 53:3 Every one of them is gone back; they are together become filthy; There is none that doeth good, no, not one.	Salmos 53:3 Desviaram-se todos, e juntamente se fizeram imundos; não há quem faça o bem, não há sequer um.
Psalms 53:4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people [as] they eat bread, And call not upon God?	Salmos 53:4 Acaso não têm conhecimento os que praticam a iniqüidade, os quais comem o meu povo como se comessem pão, e não invocam a Deus?
Psalms 53:5 There were they in great fear, where no fear was; For God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: Thou hast put them to shame, because of God hath rejected them.	Salmos 53:5 Eis que eles se acham em grande pavor onde não há motivo de pavor, porque Deus espalhará os ossos daqueles que se acampam contra ti; tu os confundirás, porque Deus os rejeitou.
Psalms 53:6 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Then shall Jacob rejoice, [and] Israel shall be glad.	Salmos 53:6 Oxalá que de Sião viesse a salvação de Israel! Quando Deus fizer voltar os cativos do seu povo, então se regozijará Jacó e se alegrará Israel.
