Psalms 1	Salmos 1
Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, Nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of scoffers:	Salmos 1:1 Bem-aventurado o homem que não anda segundo o conselho dos ímpios, nem se detém no caminho dos pecadores, nem se assenta na roda dos escarnecedores;
Psalms 1:2 But his delight is in the law of Jehovah; And on his law doth he meditate day and night.	Salmos 1:2 antes tem seu prazer na lei do Senhor, e na sua lei medita de dia e noite.
Psalms 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the streams of water, That bringeth forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also doth not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.	Salmos 1:3 Pois será como a árvore plantada junto às correntes de águas, a qual dá o seu fruto na estação própria, e cuja folha não cai; e tudo quanto fizer prosperará.
Psalms 1:4 The wicked are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.	Salmos 1:4 Não são assim os ímpios, mas são semelhantes à moinha que o vento espalha.
Psalms 1:5 Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.	Salmos 1:5 Pelo que os ímpios não subsistirão no juízo, nem os pecadores na congregação dos justos;
Psalms 1:6 For Jehovah knoweth the way of the righteous; But the way of the wicked shall perish.	Salmos 1:6 porque o Senhor conhece o caminho dos justos, mas o caminho dos ímpios conduz à ruína.
