Proverbs 1:1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel:	Die Spruche 1:1 Dies sind die Sprüche Salomos, des Königs in Israel, des Sohnes Davids,
Proverbs 1:2 To know wisdom and instruction; To discern the words of understanding;	Die Spruche 1:2 zu lernen Weisheit und Zucht, Verstand
Proverbs 1:3 To receive instruction in wise dealing, In righteousness and justice and equity;	Die Spruche 1:3 Klugheit, Gerechtigkeit, Recht und Schlecht;
Proverbs 1:4 To give prudence to the simple, To the young man knowledge and discretion:	Die Spruche 1:4 daß die Unverständigen klug und die Jünglinge vernünftig und vorsichtig werden.
Proverbs 1:5 That the wise man may hear, and increase in learning; And that the man of understanding may attain unto sound counsels:	Die Spruche 1:5 Wer weise ist der hört zu und bessert sich; wer verständig ist, der läßt sich raten,
Proverbs 1:6 To understand a proverb, and a figure, The words of the wise, and their dark sayings.	Die Spruche 1:6 daß er verstehe die Sprüche und ihre Deutung, die Lehre der Weisen und ihre Beispiele.
Proverbs 1:7 The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge; [But] the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.	Die Spruche 1:7 Des HERRN Furcht ist Anfang der Erkenntnis. Die Ruchlosen verachten Weisheit und Zucht.
Proverbs 1:8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, And forsake not the law of thy mother:	Die Spruche 1:8 Mein Kind, gehorche der Zucht deines Vaters und verlaß nicht das Gebot deiner Mutter.
Proverbs 1:9 For they shall be a chaplet of grace unto thy head, And chains about thy neck.	Die Spruche 1:9 Denn solches ist ein schöner Schmuck deinem Haupt und eine Kette an deinem Hals.
Proverbs 1:10 My son, if sinners entice thee, Consent thou not.	Die Spruche 1:10 Mein Kind, wenn dich die bösen Buben locken, so folge nicht.
Proverbs 1:11 If they say, Come with us, Let us lay wait for blood; Let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause;	Die Spruche 1:11 Wenn sie sagen: "Gehe mit uns! wir wollen auf Blut lauern und den Unschuldigen ohne Ursache nachstellen;
Proverbs 1:12 Let us swallow them up alive as Sheol, And whole, as those that go down into the pit;	Die Spruche 1:12 wir wollen sie lebendig verschlingen wie die Hölle und die Frommen wie die, so hinunter in die Grube fahren;
Proverbs 1:13 We shall find all precious substance; We shall fill our houses with spoil;	Die Spruche 1:13 wir wollen großes Gut finden; wir wollen unsre Häuser mit Raub füllen;
Proverbs 1:14 Thou shalt cast thy lot among us; We will all have one purse:	Die Spruche 1:14 wage es mit uns! es soll unser aller ein Beutel sein":
Proverbs 1:15 My son, walk not thou in the way with them; Refrain thy foot from their path:	Die Spruche 1:15 mein Kind, wandle den Weg nicht mit ihnen; wehre deinem Fuß vor ihrem Pfad.
Proverbs 1:16 For their feet run to evil, And they make haste to shed blood.	Die Spruche 1:16 Denn ihr Füße laufen zum Bösen und eilen, Blut zu vergießen.
Proverbs 1:17 For in vain is the net spread In the sight of any bird:	Die Spruche 1:17 Denn es ist vergeblich, das Netz auswerfen vor den Augen der Vögel.
Proverbs 1:18 And these lay wait for their own blood; They lurk privily for their own lives.	Die Spruche 1:18 Sie aber lauern auf ihr eigen Blut und stellen sich selbst nach dem Leben.
Proverbs 1:19 So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; It taketh away the life of the owners thereof.	Die Spruche 1:19 Also geht es allen, die nach Gewinn geizen, daß ihr Geiz ihnen das Leben nimmt.
Proverbs 1:20 Wisdom crieth aloud in the street; She uttereth her voice in the broad places;	Die Spruche 1:20 Die Weisheit klagt draußen und läßt sich hören auf den Gassen;
Proverbs 1:21 She crieth in the chief place of concourse; At the entrance of the gates, In the city, she uttereth her words:	Die Spruche 1:21 sie ruft in dem Eingang des Tores, vorn unter dem Volk; sie redet ihre Worte in der Stadt:
Proverbs 1:22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? And scoffers delight them in scoffing, And fools hate knowledge?	Die Spruche 1:22 Wie lange wollt ihr Unverständigen unverständig sein und die Spötter Lust zu Spötterei und die Ruchlosen die Lehre hassen?
Proverbs 1:23 Turn you at my reproof: Behold, I will pour out my spirit upon you; I will make known my words unto you.	Die Spruche 1:23 Kehret euch zu meiner Strafe. Siehe, ich will euch heraussagen meinen Geist und euch meine Worte kundtun.
Proverbs 1:24 Because I have called, and ye have refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man hath regarded;	Die Spruche 1:24 Weil ich denn rufe, und ihr weigert euch, ich recke meine Hand aus, und niemand achtet darauf,
Proverbs 1:25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, And would none of my reproof:	Die Spruche 1:25 und laßt fahren allen meinen Rat und wollt meine Strafe nicht:
Proverbs 1:26 I also will laugh in [the day of] your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;	Die Spruche 1:26 so will ich auch lachen in eurem Unglück und eurer spotten, wenn da kommt, was ihr fürchtet,
Proverbs 1:27 When your fear cometh as a storm, And your calamity cometh on as a whirlwind; When distress and anguish come upon you.	Die Spruche 1:27 wenn über euch kommt wie ein Sturm, was ihr fürchtet, und euer Unglück als ein Wetter, wenn über euch Angst und Not kommt.
Proverbs 1:28 Then will they call upon me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they shall not find me:	Die Spruche 1:28 Dann werden sie nach mir rufen, aber ich werde nicht antworten; sie werden mich suchen, und nicht finden.
Proverbs 1:29 For that they hated knowledge, And did not choose the fear of Jehovah:	Die Spruche 1:29 Darum, daß sie haßten die Lehre und wollten des HERRN Furcht nicht haben,
Proverbs 1:30 They would none of my counsel; They despised all my reproof.	Die Spruche 1:30 wollten meinen Rat nicht und lästerten alle meine Strafe:
Proverbs 1:31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, And be filled with their own devices.	Die Spruche 1:31 so sollen sie essen von den Früchten ihres Wesens und ihres Rats satt werden.
Proverbs 1:32 For the backsliding of the simple shall slay them, And the careless ease of fools shall destroy them.	Die Spruche 1:32 Was die Unverständigen gelüstet, tötet sie, und der Ruchlosen Glück bringt sie um.
Proverbs 1:33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell securely, And shall be quiet without fear of evil.	Die Spruche 1:33 Wer aber mir gehorcht, wird sicher bleiben und genug haben und kein Unglück fürchten.
