Salmi 149:1 Alleluia. Cantate all’Eterno un nuovo cantico, cantate la sua lode nell’assemblea dei fedeli.	Psalms 149:1 Let the Lord be praised. Make a new song to the Lord, let his praise be in the meeting of his saints.
Salmi 149:2 Si rallegri Israele in colui che lo ha fatto, esultino i figliuoli di Sion nel loro re.	Psalms 149:2 Let Israel have joy in his maker; let the children of Zion be glad in their King.
Salmi 149:3 Lodino il suo nome con danze, gli salmeggino col timpano e la cetra,	Psalms 149:3 Let them give praise to his name in the dance: let them make melody to him with instruments of brass and corded instruments of music.
Salmi 149:4 perché l’Eterno prende piacere nel suo popolo, egli adorna di salvezza gli umili.	Psalms 149:4 For the Lord has pleasure in his people: he gives the poor in spirit a crown of salvation.
Salmi 149:5 Esultino i fedeli adorni di gloria, cantino di gioia sui loro letti.	Psalms 149:5 Let the saints have joy and glory: let them give cries of joy on their beds.
Salmi 149:6 Abbiano in bocca le alte lodi di Dio, una spada a due tagli in mano	Psalms 149:6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouths, and a two-edged sword in their hands;
Salmi 149:7 per far vendetta delle nazioni e infligger castighi ai popoli;	Psalms 149:7 To give the nations the reward of their sins, and the peoples their punishment;
Salmi 149:8 per legare i loro re con catene e i loro nobili con ceppi di ferro,	Psalms 149:8 To put their kings in chains, and their rulers in bands of iron;
Salmi 149:9 per eseguir su loro il giudizio scritto. Questo è l’onore che hanno tutti i suoi fedeli. Alleluia.	Psalms 149:9 To give them the punishment which is in the holy writings: this honour is given to all his saints. Praise be to the Lord.
