Proverbs 7	Provérbios 7
Proverbs 7:1 My son, keep my words, And lay up my commandments with thee.	Provérbios 7:1 Filho meu, guarda as minhas palavras, e entesoura contigo os meus mandamentos.
Proverbs 7:2 Keep my commandments and live; And my law as the apple of thine eye.	Provérbios 7:2 Observa os meus mandamentos e vive; guarda a minha lei, como a menina dos teus olhos.
Proverbs 7:3 Bind them upon thy fingers; Write them upon the tablet of thy heart.	Provérbios 7:3 Ata-os aos teus dedos, escreve-os na tábua do teu coração.
Proverbs 7:4 Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; And call understanding [thy] kinswoman:	Provérbios 7:4 Dize à sabedoria: Tu és minha irmã; e chama ao entendimento teu amigo íntimo,
Proverbs 7:5 That they may keep thee from the strange woman, From the foreigner that flattereth with her words.	Provérbios 7:5 para te guardarem da mulher alheia, da adúltera, que lisonjeia com as suas palavras.
Proverbs 7:6 For at the window of my house I looked forth through my lattice;	Provérbios 7:6 Porque da janela da minha casa, por minhas grades olhando eu,
Proverbs 7:7 And I beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, A young man void of understanding,	Provérbios 7:7 vi entre os simples, divisei entre os jovens, um mancebo falto de juízo,
Proverbs 7:8 Passing through the street near her corner; And he went the way to her house,	Provérbios 7:8 que passava pela rua junto à esquina da mulher adúltera e que seguia o caminho da sua casa,
Proverbs 7:9 In the twilight, in the evening of the day, In the middle of the night and in the darkness.	Provérbios 7:9 no crepúsculo, à tarde do dia, à noite fechada e na escuridão;
Proverbs 7:10 And, behold, there met him a woman With the attire of a harlot, and wily of heart.	Provérbios 7:10 e eis que uma mulher lhe saiu ao encontro, ornada à moda das prostitutas, e astuta de coração.
Proverbs 7:11 She is clamorous and wilful; Her feet abide not in her house:	Provérbios 7:11 Ela é turbulenta e obstinada; não param em casa os seus pés;
Proverbs 7:12 Now she is in the streets, now in the broad places, And lieth in wait at every corner.	Provérbios 7:12 ora está ela pelas ruas, ora pelas praças, espreitando por todos os cantos.
Proverbs 7:13 So she caught him, and kissed him, [And] with an impudent face she said unto him:	Provérbios 7:13 Pegou dele, pois, e o beijou; e com semblante impudico lhe disse:
Proverbs 7:14 Sacrifices of peace-offerings are with me; This day have I paid my vows.	Provérbios 7:14 Sacrifícios pacíficos tenho comigo; hoje paguei os meus votos.
Proverbs 7:15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, Diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.	Provérbios 7:15 Por isso saí ao teu encontro a buscar-te diligentemente, e te achei.
Proverbs 7:16 I have spread my couch with carpets of tapestry, With striped cloths of the yarn of Egypt.	Provérbios 7:16 Já cobri a minha cama de cobertas, de colchas de linho do Egito.
Proverbs 7:17 I have perfumed my bed With myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.	Provérbios 7:17 Já perfumei o meu leito com mirra, aloés e cinamomo.
Proverbs 7:18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning; Let us solace ourselves with loves.	Provérbios 7:18 Vem, saciemo-nos de amores até pela manhã; alegremo-nos com amores.
Proverbs 7:19 For the man is not at home; He is gone a long journey:	Provérbios 7:19 Porque meu marido não está em casa; foi fazer uma jornada ao longe;
Proverbs 7:20 He hath taken a bag of money with him; He will come home at the full moon.	Provérbios 7:20 um saquitel de dinheiro levou na mão; só lá para o dia da lua cheia voltará para casa.
Proverbs 7:21 With her much fair speech she causeth him to yield; With the flattering of her lips she forceth him along.	Provérbios 7:21 Ela o faz ceder com a multidão das suas palavras sedutoras, com as lisonjas dos seus lábios o arrasta.
Proverbs 7:22 He goeth after her straightway, As an ox goeth to the slaughter, Or as [one in] fetters to the correction of the fool;	Provérbios 7:22 Ele a segue logo, como boi que vai ao matadouro, e como o louco ao castigo das prisões;
Proverbs 7:23 Till an arrow strike through his liver; As a bird hasteth to the snare, And knoweth not that it is for his life.	Provérbios 7:23 até que uma flecha lhe atravesse o fígado, como a ave que se apressa para o laço, sem saber que está armado contra a sua vida.
Proverbs 7:24 Now therefore, [my] sons, hearken unto me, And attend to the words of my mouth.	Provérbios 7:24 Agora, pois, filhos, ouvi-me, e estai atentos às palavras da minha boca.
Proverbs 7:25 Let not thy heart decline to her ways; Go not astray in her paths.	Provérbios 7:25 Não se desvie para os seus caminhos o teu coração, e não andes perdido nas suas veredas.
Proverbs 7:26 For she hath cast down many wounded: Yea, all her slain are a mighty host.	Provérbios 7:26 Porque ela a muitos tem feito cair feridos; e são muitíssimos os que por ela foram mortos.
Proverbs 7:27 Her house is the way to Sheol, Going down to the chambers of death.	Provérbios 7:27 Caminho de Seol é a sua casa, o qual desce às câmaras da morte.
