| Praise ye Jehovah. Praise ye the name of Jehovah; Praise [him], O ye servants of Jehovah, | ^^Аллилуия.^^ Хвалите имя Господне, хвалите, рабы Господни, |
| Ye that stand in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of the house of our God. | стоящие в доме Господнем, во дворах дома Бога нашего. |
| Praise ye Jehovah; for Jehovah is good: Sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant. | Хвалите Господа, ибо Господь благ; пойте имени Его, ибо это сладостно, |
| For Jehovah hath chosen Jacob unto himself, [And] Israel for his own possession. | ибо Господь избрал Себе Иакова, Израиля в собственность Свою. |
| For I know that Jehovah is great, And that our Lord is above all gods. | Я познал, что велик Господь, и Господь наш превыше всех богов. |
| Whatsoever Jehovah pleased, that hath he done, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps; | Господь творит все, что хочет, на небесах и на земле, на морях и во всех безднах; |
| Who causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; Who maketh lightnings for the rain; Who bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries; | возводит облака от края земли, творит молнии при дожде, изводит ветер из хранилищ Своих. |
| Who smote the first-born of Egypt, Both of man and beast; | Он поразил первенцев Египта, от человека до скота, |
| Who sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, Upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants; | послал знамения и чудеса среди тебя, Египет, на фараона и на всех рабов его, |
| Who smote many nations, And slew mighty kings, | поразил народы многие и истребил царей сильных: |
| Sihon king of the Amorites, And Og king of Bashan, And all the kingdoms of Canaan, | Сигона, царя Аморрейского, и Ога, царя Васанского, и все царства Ханаанские; |
| And gave their land for a heritage, A heritage unto Israel his people. | и отдал землю их в наследие, в наследие Израилю, народу Своему. |
| Thy name, O Jehovah, [endureth] for ever; Thy memorial [name], O Jehovah, throughout all generations. | Господи! имя Твое вовек; Господи! память о Тебе в род и род. |
| For Jehovah will judge his people, And repent himself concerning his servants. | Ибо Господь будет судить народ Свой и над рабами Своими умилосердится. |
| The idols of the nations are silver and gold, The work of men's hands. | Идолы язычников--серебро и золото, дело рук человеческих: |
| They have mouths, but they speak not; Eyes have they, but they see not; | есть у них уста, но не говорят; есть у них глаза, но не видят; |
| They have ears, but they hear not; Neither is there any breath in their mouths. | есть у них уши, но не слышат, и нет дыхания в устах их. |
| They that make them shall be like unto them; Yea, every one that trusteth in them. | Подобны им будут делающие их и всякий, кто надеется на них. |
| O house of Israel, bless ye Jehovah: O house of Aaron, bless ye Jehovah: | Дом Израилев! благословите Господа. Дом Ааронов! благословите Господа. |
| O house of Levi, bless ye Jehovah: Ye that fear Jehovah, bless ye Jehovah. | Дом Левиин! благословите Господа. Боящиеся Господа! благословите Господа. |
| Blessed be Jehovah out of Zion, Who dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye Jehovah. Psalm 136 | Благословен Господь от Сиона, живущий в Иерусалиме! Аллилуия! |
