| O God, in whose hands is punishment, O God of punishment, let your shining face be seen. | JEHOVA, Dios de las venganzas, Dios de las venganzas, muéstrate. |
| Be lifted up, O judge of the earth; let their reward come to the men of pride. | Ensálzate, oh Juez de la tierra: Da el pago á los soberbios. |
| How long will sinners, O Lord, how long will sinners have joy over us? | ¿Hasta cuándo los impíos, Hasta cuándo, oh Jehová, se gozarán los impíos? |
| Words of pride come from their lips; all the workers of evil say great things of themselves. | ¿Hasta cuándo pronunciarán, hablarán cosas duras, Y se vanagloriarán todos los que obran iniquidad? |
| Your people are crushed by them, O Lord, your heritage is troubled, | A tu pueblo, oh Jehová, quebrantan, Y á tu heredad afligen. |
| They put to death the widow and the guest, they take the lives of children who have no father; | A la viuda y al extanjero matan, Y á los huérfanos quitan la vida. |
| And they say, Jah will not see it, the God of Jacob will not give thought to it. | Y dijeron: No verá JAH, Ni entenderá el Dios de Jacob. |
| Give your mind to my words, you who are without wisdom among the people; you foolish men, when will you be wise? | Entended, necios del pueblo; Y vosotros fatuos, ¿cuándo seréis sabios? |
| Has he by whom your ears were planted no hearing? or is he blind by whom your eyes were formed? | El que plantó el oído, ¿no oirá? El que formó el ojo, ¿no verá? |
| He who is the judge of the nations, will he not give men the reward of their acts, even he who gives knowledge to man? | El que castiga las gentes, ¿no reprenderá? ¿No sabrá el que enseña al hombre la ciencia? |
| The Lord has knowledge of the thoughts of man, for they are only a breath. | Jehová conoce los pensamientos de los hombres, Que son vanidad. |
| Happy is the man who is guided by you, O Jah, and to whom you give teaching out of your law; | Bienaventurado el hombre á quien tú, JAH, castigares, Y en tu ley lo instruyeres; |
| So that you may give him rest from the days of evil, till a hole is made ready for the destruction of the sinners. | Para tranquilizarle en los días de aflicción, En tanto que para el impío se cava el hoyo. |
| The Lord will not give up his people, or take away his support from his heritage; | Porque no dejará Jehová su pueblo, Ni desamparará su heredad; |
| But decisions will again be made in righteousness; and they will be kept by all whose hearts are true. | Sino que el juicio será vuelto á justicia, Y en pos de ella irán todos los rectos de corazón. |
| Who will give me help against the sinners? and who will be my support against the workers of evil? | ¿Quién se levantará por mí contra los malignos? ¿Quién estará por mí contra los que obran iniquidad? |
| If the Lord had not been my helper, my soul would quickly have gone down into death. | Si no me ayudara Jehová, Presto morara mi alma en el silencio. |
| If I say, My foot is slipping; your mercy, O Lord, is my support. | Cuando yo decía: Mi pie resbala: Tu misericordia, oh Jehová, me sustentaba. |
| Among all my troubled thoughts, your comforts are the delight of my soul. | En la multitud de mis pensamientos dentro de mí, Tus consolaciones alegraban mi alma. |
| What part with you has the seat of sin, which makes evil into a law? | ¿Juntaráse contigo el trono de iniquidades, Que forma agravio en el mandamiento? |
| They are banded together against the soul of the upright, to give decisions against those who have done no wrong. | Pónense en corros contra la vida del justo, Y condenan la sangre inocente. |
| But the Lord is my safe resting-place; my God is the Rock where I am safe. | Mas Jehová me ha sido por refugio; Y mi Dios por roca de mi confianza. |
| And he has made their evil designs come back on themselves, cutting them off in their sin; the Lord our God will put an end to them. | Y él hará tornar sobre ellos su iniquidad, Y los destruirá por su propia maldad; Los talará Jehová nuestro Dios. |
