Job 29

Job 29:1 ^
And Job again took up the word and said,
Job 29:1 ^
Ug si Job migamit pag-usab sa iyang sambingay, ug miingon:
Job 29:2 ^
If only I might again be as I was in the months which are past, in the days when God was watching over me!
Job 29:2 ^
Oh, nga maingon unta ako niadtong unang mga bulan, Niadtong unang mga adlaw sa diha nga ang Dios nagbantay pa kanako;
Job 29:3 ^
When his light was shining over my head, and when I went through the dark by his light.
Job 29:3 ^
Sa diha nga ang iyang suga nagdan-ag sa ibabaw sa akong ulo, Ug pinaagi sa iyang kahayag gilatas ko ang kangitngit;
Job 29:4 ^
As I was in my flowering years, when my tent was covered by the hand of God;
Job 29:4 ^
Ingon sa akong pagkamauswagon sa akong mga adlaw, Sa diha nga ang pakig-abyan sa Dios nagpuyo pa sa sulod sa akong balong-balong;
Job 29:5 ^
While the Ruler of all was still with me, and my children were round me;
Job 29:5 ^
Sa diha nga ang Makagagahum kauban pa kanako, Ug ang akong mga anak kanako nagalibut;
Job 29:6 ^
When my steps were washed with milk, and rivers of oil were flowing out of the rock for me.
Job 29:6 ^
Sa diha nga ang akong mga lakang ginahugasan sa mantequilla, Ug ang bato nagapaagay-ay kanako ug mga sapa nga lana!
Job 29:7 ^
When I went out of my door to go up to the town, and took my seat in the public place,
Job 29:7 ^
Sa miadto ako sa ganghaan ngadto sa ciudad, Sa giandam ko ang akong lingkoranan diha sa dalan,
Job 29:8 ^
The young men saw me, and went away, and the old men got up from their seats;
Job 29:8 ^
Ang mga batan-on nakakita kanako ug nanagtago sa ilang kaugalingon, Ug ang mga tigulang nanindog ug wala manglihok;
Job 29:9 ^
The rulers kept quiet, and put their hands on their mouths;
Job 29:9 ^
Ang mga principe nanagpugong sa pagsulusulti, Ug gidapion ang ilang mga kamot sa ilang baba;
Job 29:10 ^
The chiefs kept back their words, and their tongues were joined to the roofs of their mouths.
Job 29:10 ^
Ang tingog sa mga tawong halangdon gipahilum, Ug ang ilang mga dila nanapot sa alingag-ngag sa ilang baba.
Job 29:11 ^
For when it came to their ears, men said that I was truly happy; and when their eyes saw, they gave witness to me;
Job 29:11 ^
Kay sa diha nga nakadungog kanako ang igdulungog, unya kana kanako nanalangin; Ug sa diha nga nakakita kanako ang mata, kana nagpamatuod kanako:
Job 29:12 ^
For I was a saviour to the poor when he was crying for help, to the child with no father, and to him who had no supporter.
Job 29:12 ^
Kay akong giluwas ang kabus nga nagtu-aw, Ang ilo usab nga kaniya walay makatabang.
Job 29:13 ^
The blessing of him who was near to destruction came on me, and I put a song of joy into the widow's heart.
Job 29:13 ^
Ang panalangin niadtong haduol sa kamatayon midangat kanako; Ug ang kasingkasing sa babaye nga balo gipaawit ko sa kalipay.
Job 29:14 ^
I put on righteousness as my clothing, and was full of it; right decisions were to me a robe and a head-dress.
Job 29:14 ^
Gisul-ob ko ang pagkamatarung, ug kana nahimo nga akong bisti: Ang akong justicia nahimutang ingon sa kupo ug purongpurong.
Job 29:15 ^
I was eyes to the blind, and feet to him who had no power of walking.
Job 29:15 ^
Ako nahimong mga mata sa mga buta, Ug sa mga bakol ako nahimong mga tiil.
Job 29:16 ^
I was a father to the poor, searching out the cause of him who was strange to me.
Job 29:16 ^
Ako nahimong amahan sa mga hangul: Ug ang katungod niadtong wala ko hiilhi akong gipangita.
Job 29:17 ^
By me the great teeth of the evil-doer were broken, and I made him give up what he had violently taken away.
Job 29:17 ^
Ug gilumpag ko ang apapangig sa mga tawong dili matarung, Ug gilaksi ko ang tinukob diha sa iyang mga ngipon.
Job 29:18 ^
Then I said, I will come to my end with my children round me, my days will be as the sand in number;
Job 29:18 ^
Unya ako miingon: Ako mamatay sa akong salag, Ug pagadaghanon ko ang akong mga adlaw ingon sa balas:
Job 29:19 ^
My root will be open to the waters, and the night mist will be on my branches,
Job 29:19 ^
Ang akong gamot mikaylap ngadto sa katubigan, Ug ang yamog mipabilin sa ibabaw sa akong sanga sa tibook nga gabii:
Job 29:20 ^
My glory will be ever new, and my bow will be readily bent in my hand.
Job 29:20 ^
Ang akong himaya nga ania kanako lunhaw, Ug ang akong pana nabag-o dinhi sa akong kamot.
Job 29:21 ^
Men gave ear to me, waiting and keeping quiet for my suggestions.
Job 29:21 ^
Kanako ang mga tawo nanagpatalinghug ug nanagpaabut, Ug nanaghilum tungod sa akong tambag.
Job 29:22 ^
After I had said what was in my mind, they were quiet and let my words go deep into their hearts;
Job 29:22 ^
Sa pagkatapus sa akong mga pulong sila wala na mousab pagsulti; Ug ang akong tambag nagatulo sa ibabaw nila.
Job 29:23 ^
They were waiting for me as for the rain, opening their mouths wide as for the spring rains.
Job 29:23 ^
Ug ingon sa pagpaabut sa ulan ang ilang pagpaabut kanako; Ug gibuka nila ang ilang baba ingon sa nagahulat sa ulahing ulan.
Job 29:24 ^
I was laughing at them when they had no hope, and the light of my face was never clouded by their fear.
Job 29:24 ^
Ug ako mipahiyum kanila sa diha nga sila walay pagsalig; Ug ang kahayag sa akong panagway wala nila isalikway.
Job 29:25 ^
I took my place as a chief, guiding them on their way, and I was as a king among his army. ...
Job 29:25 ^
Ako nagpili sa ilang dalan ug milingkod ingon sa usa ka pangulo, Ug mipuyo ingon sa usa ka hari sa kasundalohan, Ingon sa usa ka nagalipay niadtong mga masulob-on.
