Job 29	Gióp 29
Job 29:1 And Job again took up the word and said,	Gióp 29:1 Gióp cứ nói lẽ luận cao mình, mà rằng:
Job 29:2 If only I might again be as I was in the months which are past, in the days when God was watching over me!	Gióp 29:2 Oi! Ước gì tôi được như buổi trước, Như trong các ngày mà Đức Chúa Trời gìn giữ tôi;
Job 29:3 When his light was shining over my head, and when I went through the dark by his light.	Gióp 29:3 Khi ngọn đuốc Chúa soi trên đầu tôi; Và nhờ ánh sáng Ngài, tôi bước qua sự tối tăm.
Job 29:4 As I was in my flowering years, when my tent was covered by the hand of God;	Gióp 29:4 Chớ chi tôi được như lúc còn tráng kiệt, Khi tình thiệt hữu của Đức Chúa Trời còn đoái đến trại tôi;
Job 29:5 While the Ruler of all was still with me, and my children were round me;	Gióp 29:5 Khi Đấng Toàn năng còn ở cùng tôi, Và các con cái tôi vây quanh tôi;
Job 29:6 When my steps were washed with milk, and rivers of oil were flowing out of the rock for me.	Gióp 29:6 Lúc tôi rửa chơn trong sữa, Và hòn đá phun suối dầu ra cho tôi!
Job 29:7 When I went out of my door to go up to the town, and took my seat in the public place,	Gióp 29:7 Khi tôi đi ra đến cửa thành, Sửa soạn chỗ ngồi mình tại phố chợ,
Job 29:8 The young men saw me, and went away, and the old men got up from their seats;	Gióp 29:8 Các gã trai trẻ thấy tôi bèn ẩn đi, Và các người già cả đều chổi dậy và đứng;
Job 29:9 The rulers kept quiet, and put their hands on their mouths;	Gióp 29:9 Những quan trưởng kiêng nói, Và lấy tay bụm miệng;
Job 29:10 The chiefs kept back their words, and their tongues were joined to the roofs of their mouths.	Gióp 29:10 Tiếng người tước vị nín thinh, Và lưỡi họ dính nơi ổ gà.
Job 29:11 For when it came to their ears, men said that I was truly happy; and when their eyes saw, they gave witness to me;	Gióp 29:11 Khi tai ai nghe tôi, bèn xưng tôi có phước, Mắt ai thấy tôi, bèn làm chứng cho tôi.
Job 29:12 For I was a saviour to the poor when he was crying for help, to the child with no father, and to him who had no supporter.	Gióp 29:12 Ay vì tôi giải cứu kẻ khốn cùng kêu cầu, Và kẻ mồ côi không ai giúp đỡ.
Job 29:13 The blessing of him who was near to destruction came on me, and I put a song of joy into the widow's heart.	Gióp 29:13 Kẻ gần chết chúc phước cho tôi, Và tôi làm cho lòng người góa bụa nức nở vui mừng.
Job 29:14 I put on righteousness as my clothing, and was full of it; right decisions were to me a robe and a head-dress.	Gióp 29:14 Tôi mặc lấy sự công bình, và nó che phủ tôi, Sự ngay thẳng tôi khác nào áo ngoài và mão triều thiên.
Job 29:15 I was eyes to the blind, and feet to him who had no power of walking.	Gióp 29:15 Tôi đã như con mắt cho kẻ mù, Và như chơn cho kẻ què.
Job 29:16 I was a father to the poor, searching out the cause of him who was strange to me.	Gióp 29:16 Tôi đã làm cha cho kẻ nghèo khó, Còn duyên cớ của kẻ lạ, tôi tra xét cho rõ ràng.
Job 29:17 By me the great teeth of the evil-doer were broken, and I made him give up what he had violently taken away.	Gióp 29:17 Tôi bẻ gẫy hàm kẻ bất công, Và rứt mồi nó ngậm nơi răng.
Job 29:18 Then I said, I will come to my end with my children round me, my days will be as the sand in number;	Gióp 29:18 Tôi bèn nói rằng: Ta sẽ thác trong ổ của ta; Ngày ta sẽ nhiều như hột cát;
Job 29:19 My root will be open to the waters, and the night mist will be on my branches,	Gióp 29:19 Rễ ta bò ăn dài theo nước, Và cả đêm sương đọng trên nhành ta.
Job 29:20 My glory will be ever new, and my bow will be readily bent in my hand.	Gióp 29:20 Vinh hiển ta mới mẻ với ta luôn, Cung ta được cứng mạnh lại trong tay ta.
Job 29:21 Men gave ear to me, waiting and keeping quiet for my suggestions.	Gióp 29:21 Người ta lắng tai nghe tôi, chờ đợi, Và làm thinh đặng nghe lời tôi bàn.
Job 29:22 After I had said what was in my mind, they were quiet and let my words go deep into their hearts;	Gióp 29:22 Sau khi tôi nói, chúng không còn đáp lại; Lời tôi nói gội nhuần trên chúng .
Job 29:23 They were waiting for me as for the rain, opening their mouths wide as for the spring rains.	Gióp 29:23 Họ trông đợi tôi như trông đợi mưa, Hả miệng ra dường như hứng mưa muộn.
Job 29:24 I was laughing at them when they had no hope, and the light of my face was never clouded by their fear.	Gióp 29:24 Tôi mỉm cười với chúng, khi chúng bị ngã lòng; Họ chẳng hề làm rối nét mặt bình tịnh tôi được.
