Matthew 24:1 And Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way; and his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.	Matthieu 24:1 Comme Jésus s`en allait, au sortir du temple, ses disciples s`approchèrent pour lui en faire remarquer les constructions.
Matthew 24:2 But he answered and said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.	Matthieu 24:2 Mais il leur dit: Voyez-vous tout cela? Je vous le dis en vérité, il ne restera pas ici pierre sur pierre qui ne soit renversée.
Matthew 24:3 And as he sat on the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?	Matthieu 24:3 Il s`assit sur la montagne des oliviers. Et les disciples vinrent en particulier lui faire cette question: Dis-nous, quand cela arrivera-t-il, et quel sera le signe de ton avènement et de la fin du monde?
Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man lead you astray.	Matthieu 24:4 Jésus leur répondit: Prenez garde que personne ne vous séduise.
Matthew 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and shall lead many astray.	Matthieu 24:5 Car plusieurs viendront sous mon nom, disant: C`est moi qui suis le Christ. Et ils séduiront beaucoup de gens.
Matthew 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that ye be not troubled: for [these things] must needs come to pass; but the end is not yet.	Matthieu 24:6 Vous entendrez parler de guerres et de bruits de guerres: gardez-vous d`être troublés, car il faut que ces choses arrivent. Mais ce ne sera pas encore la fin.
Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines and earthquakes in divers places.	Matthieu 24:7 Une nation s`élèvera contre une nation, et un royaume contre un royaume, et il y aura, en divers lieux, des famines et des tremblements de terre.
Matthew 24:8 But all these things are the beginning of travail.	Matthieu 24:8 Tout cela ne sera que le commencement des douleurs.
Matthew 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up unto tribulation, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all the nations for my name's sake.	Matthieu 24:9 Alors on vous livrera aux tourments, et l`on vous fera mourir; et vous serez haïs de toutes les nations, à cause de mon nom.
Matthew 24:10 And then shall many stumble, and shall deliver up one another, and shall hate one another.	Matthieu 24:10 Alors aussi plusieurs succomberont, et ils se trahiront, se haïront les uns les autres.
Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall arise, and shall lead many astray.	Matthieu 24:11 Plusieurs faux prophètes s`élèveront, et ils séduiront beaucoup de gens.
Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall be multiplied, the love of the many shall wax cold.	Matthieu 24:12 Et, parce que l`iniquité se sera accrue, la charité du plus grand nombre se refroidira.
Matthew 24:13 But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.	Matthieu 24:13 Mais celui qui persévérera jusqu`à la fin sera sauvé.
Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come.	Matthieu 24:14 Cette bonne nouvelle du royaume sera prêchée dans le monde entier, pour servir de témoignage à toutes les nations. Alors viendra la fin.
Matthew 24:15 When therefore ye see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let him that readeth understand),	Matthieu 24:15 C`est pourquoi, lorsque vous verrez l`abomination de la désolation, dont a parlé le prophète Daniel, établie en lieu saint, -que celui qui lit fasse attention! -
Matthew 24:16 then let them that are in Judaea flee unto the mountains:	Matthieu 24:16 alors, que ceux qui seront en Judée fuient dans les montagnes;
Matthew 24:17 let him that is on the housetop not go down to take out things that are in his house:	Matthieu 24:17 que celui qui sera sur le toit ne descende pas pour prendre ce qui est dans sa maison;
Matthew 24:18 and let him that is in the field not return back to take his cloak.	Matthieu 24:18 et que celui qui sera dans les champs ne retourne pas en arrière pour prendre son manteau.
Matthew 24:19 But woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days!	Matthieu 24:19 Malheur aux femmes qui seront enceintes et à celles qui allaiteront en ces jours-là!
Matthew 24:20 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on a sabbath:	Matthieu 24:20 Priez pour que votre fuite n`arrive pas en hiver, ni un jour de sabbat.
Matthew 24:21 for then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be.	Matthieu 24:21 Car alors, la détresse sera si grande qu`il n`y en a point eu de pareille depuis le commencement du monde jusqu`à présent, et qu`il n`y en aura jamais.
Matthew 24:22 And except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.	Matthieu 24:22 Et, si ces jours n`étaient abrégés, personne ne serait sauvé; mais, à cause des élus, ces jours seront abrégés.
Matthew 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is the Christ, or, Here; believe [it] not.	Matthieu 24:23 Si quelqu`un vous dit alors: Le Christ est ici, ou: Il est là, ne le croyez pas.
Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.	Matthieu 24:24 Car il s`élèvera de faux Christs et de faux prophètes; ils feront de grands prodiges et des miracles, au point de séduire, s`il était possible, même les élus.
Matthew 24:25 Behold, I have told you beforehand.	Matthieu 24:25 Voici, je vous l`ai annoncé d`avance.
Matthew 24:26 If therefore they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the wilderness; go not forth: Behold, he is in the inner chambers; believe [it] not.	Matthieu 24:26 Si donc on vous dit: Voici, il est dans le désert, n`y allez pas; voici, il est dans les chambres, ne le croyez pas.
Matthew 24:27 For as the lightning cometh forth from the east, and is seen even unto the west; so shall be the coming of the Son of man.	Matthieu 24:27 Car, comme l`éclair part de l`orient et se montre jusqu`en occident, ainsi sera l`avènement du Fils de l`homme.
Matthew 24:28 Wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.	Matthieu 24:28 En quelque lieu que soit le cadavre, là s`assembleront les aigles.
Matthew 24:29 But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:	Matthieu 24:29 Aussitôt après ces jours de détresse, le soleil s`obscurcira, la lune ne donnera plus sa lumière, les étoiles tomberont du ciel, et les puissances des cieux seront ébranlées.
Matthew 24:30 and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.	Matthieu 24:30 Alors le signe du Fils de l`homme paraîtra dans le ciel, toutes les tribus de la terre se lamenteront, et elles verront le Fils de l`homme venant sur les nuées du ciel avec puissance et une grande gloire.
Matthew 24:31 And he shall send forth his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.	Matthieu 24:31 Il enverra ses anges avec la trompette retentissante, et ils rassembleront ses élus des quatre vents, depuis une extrémité des cieux jusqu`à l`autre.
Matthew 24:32 Now from the fig tree learn her parable: when her branch is now become tender, and putteth forth its leaves, ye know that the summer is nigh;	Matthieu 24:32 Instruisez-vous par une comparaison tirée du figuier. Dès que ses branches deviennent tendres, et que les feuilles poussent, vous connaissez que l`été est proche.
Matthew 24:33 even so ye also, when ye see all these things, know ye that he is nigh, [even] at the doors.	Matthieu 24:33 De même, quand vous verrez toutes ces choses, sachez que le Fils de l`homme est proche, à la porte.
Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all these things be accomplished.	Matthieu 24:34 Je vous le dis en vérité, cette génération ne passera point, que tout cela n`arrive.
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.	Matthieu 24:35 Le ciel et la terre passeront, mais mes paroles ne passeront point.
Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only.	Matthieu 24:36 Pour ce qui est du jour et de l`heure, personne ne le sait, ni les anges des cieux, ni le Fils, mais le Père seul.
Matthew 24:37 And as [were] the days of Noah, so shall be the coming of the Son of man.	Matthieu 24:37 Ce qui arriva du temps de Noé arrivera de même à l`avènement du Fils de l`homme.
Matthew 24:38 For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,	Matthieu 24:38 Car, dans les jours qui précédèrent le déluge, les hommes mangeaient et buvaient, se mariaient et mariaient leurs enfants, jusqu`au jour où Noé entra dans l`arche;
Matthew 24:39 and they knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall be the coming of the Son of man.	Matthieu 24:39 et ils ne se doutèrent de rien, jusqu`à ce que le déluge vînt et les emportât tous: il en sera de même à l`avènement du Fils de l`homme.
Matthew 24:40 Then shall two man be in the field; one is taken, and one is left:	Matthieu 24:40 Alors, de deux hommes qui seront dans un champ, l`un sera pris et l`autre laissé;
Matthew 24:41 two women [shall be] grinding at the mill; one is taken, and one is left.	Matthieu 24:41 de deux femmes qui moudront à la meule, l`une sera prise et l`autre laissée.
Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not on what day your Lord cometh.	Matthieu 24:42 Veillez donc, puisque vous ne savez pas quel jour votre Seigneur viendra.
Matthew 24:43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken through.	Matthieu 24:43 Sachez-le bien, si le maître de la maison savait à quelle veille de la nuit le voleur doit venir, il veillerait et ne laisserait pas percer sa maison.
Matthew 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready; for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man cometh.	Matthieu 24:44 C`est pourquoi, vous aussi, tenez-vous prêts, car le Fils de l`homme viendra à l`heure où vous n`y penserez pas.
Matthew 24:45 Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath set over his household, to give them their food in due season?	Matthieu 24:45 Quel est donc le serviteur fidèle et prudent, que son maître a établi sur ses gens, pour leur donner la nourriture au temps convenable?
Matthew 24:46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.	Matthieu 24:46 Heureux ce serviteur, que son maître, à son arrivée, trouvera faisant ainsi!
Matthew 24:47 Verily I say unto you, that he will set him over all that he hath.	Matthieu 24:47 Je vous le dis en vérité, il l`établira sur tous ses biens.
Matthew 24:48 But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord tarrieth;	Matthieu 24:48 Mais, si c`est un méchant serviteur, qui dise en lui-même: Mon maître tarde à venir,
Matthew 24:49 and shall begin to beat his fellow-servants, and shall eat and drink with the drunken;	Matthieu 24:49 s`il se met à battre ses compagnons, s`il mange et boit avec les ivrognes,
Matthew 24:50 the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he expecteth not, and in an hour when he knoweth not,	Matthieu 24:50 le maître de ce serviteur viendra le jour où il ne s`y attend pas et à l`heure qu`il ne connaît pas,
Matthew 24:51 and shall cut him asunder, and appoint his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.	Matthieu 24:51 il le mettra en pièces, et lui donnera sa part avec les hypocrites: c`est là qu`il y aura des pleurs et des grincements de dents.
