Psalms 60:1 O God thou hast cast us off, thou hast broken us down; Thou hast been angry; oh restore us again.	Salmi 60:1 Per il Capo de’ musici. Su "il giglio della testimonianza". Inno di Davide da insegnare; quand’egli mosse guerra ai Siri di Mesopotamia e ai Siri di Soba e Joab tornò, e sconfisse 12.000 Idumei nella valle del Sale. O Dio, tu ci hai rigettati, ci hai dispersi, tu ti sei adirato; deh, ci ristabilisci!
Psalms 60:2 Thou hast made the land to tremble; thou hast rent it: Heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.	Salmi 60:2 Tu hai fatto tremare la terra, tu l’hai schiantata; restaura le sue rotture, perché vacilla.
Psalms 60:3 Thou hast showed thy people hard things: Thou hast made us to drink the wine of staggering.	Salmi 60:3 Tu hai fatto vedere al tuo popolo cose dure; tu ci hai dato a bere un vino che stordisce.
Psalms 60:4 Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, That it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah	Salmi 60:4 Ma tu hai dato a quelli che ti temono una bandiera, perché si levino in favor della verità. Sela.
Psalms 60:5 That thy beloved may be delivered, Save with thy right hand, and answer us.	Salmi 60:5 Perché i tuoi diletti sian liberati, salvaci con la tua destra e rispondici.
Psalms 60:6 God hath spoken in his holiness: I will exult; I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.	Salmi 60:6 Iddio ha parlato nella sua santità: Io trionferò, spartirò Sichem e misurerò la valle di Succot.
Psalms 60:7 Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the defence of my head; Judah is my sceptre.	Salmi 60:7 Mio è Galaad e mio è Manasse, ed Efraim è la forte difesa del mio capo; Giuda è il mio scettro.

Psalms 60:9 Who will bring me into the strong city? Who hath led me unto Edom?	Salmi 60:9 Chi mi condurrà nella città forte? Chi mi menerà fino in Edom?
Psalms 60:10 Hast not thou, O God, cast us off? And thou goest not forth, O God, with our hosts.	Salmi 60:10 Non sarai tu, o Dio, che ci hai rigettati e non esci più, o Dio, coi nostri eserciti?
Psalms 60:11 Give us help against the adversary; For vain is the help of man.	Salmi 60:11 Dacci aiuto per uscir dalla distretta, poiché vano è il soccorso dell’uomo.
Psalms 60:12 Through God we shall do valiantly; For he it is that will tread down our adversaries.	Salmi 60:12 Con Dio noi faremo prodezze, ed egli schiaccerà i nostri nemici.
