Psalms 37:1 Of David. Do not be angry because of the wrongdoers, or have envy of the workers of evil.	Salmi 37:1 Di Davide. Non ti crucciare a cagion de’ malvagi; non portare invidia a quelli che operano perversamente;
Psalms 37:2 For they will quickly be cut down like grass, and become dry like the green plants.	Salmi 37:2 perché saran di subito falciati come il fieno, e appassiranno come l’erba verde.
Psalms 37:3 Have faith in the Lord, and do good; be at rest in the land, and go after righteousness.	Salmi 37:3 Confidati nell’Eterno e fa’ il bene; abita il paese e coltiva la fedeltà.
Psalms 37:4 So will your delight be in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires.	Salmi 37:4 Prendi il tuo diletto nell’Eterno, ed egli ti darà quel che il tuo cuore domanda.
Psalms 37:5 Put your life in the hands of the Lord; have faith in him and he will do it.	Salmi 37:5 Rimetti la tua sorte nell’Eterno; confidati in lui, ed egli opererà
Psalms 37:6 And he will make your righteousness be seen like the light, and your cause like the shining of the sun.	Salmi 37:6 Egli farà risplendere la tua giustizia come la luce, e il tuo diritto come il mezzodì.
Psalms 37:7 Take your rest in the Lord, waiting quietly for him; do not be angry because of the man who does well in his evil ways, and gives effect to his bad designs.	Salmi 37:7 Sta’ in silenzio dinanzi all’Eterno, e aspettalo; non ti crucciare per colui che prospera nella sua via, per l’uomo che riesce ne’ suoi malvagi disegni.
Psalms 37:8 Put an end to your wrath and be no longer bitter; do not give way to angry feeling which is a cause of sin.	Salmi 37:8 Cessa dall’ira e lascia lo sdegno; non crucciarti; ciò non conduce che al mal fare.
Psalms 37:9 For the evil-doers will be cut off: but those who have faith in the Lord will have the earth for their heritage.	Salmi 37:9 Poiché i malvagi saranno sterminati; ma quelli che sperano nell’Eterno possederanno la terra.
Psalms 37:10 For in a short time the evil-doer will be gone: you will go searching for his place, and it will not be there.	Salmi 37:10 Ancora un poco e l’empio non sarà più; tu osserverai il suo luogo, ed egli non vi sarà più.
Psalms 37:11 But the gentle will have the earth for their heritage; they will take their delight in peace without measure.	Salmi 37:11 Ma i mansueti erederanno la terra e godranno abbondanza di pace.
Psalms 37:12 The sinner has evil designs against the upright, lifting up the voice of wrath against him.	Salmi 37:12 L’empio macchina contro il giusto e digrigna i denti contro lui.
Psalms 37:13 He will be laughed at by the Lord, who sees that his day is coming.	Salmi 37:13 Il Signore si ride di lui, perché vede che il suo giorno viene.
Psalms 37:14 The evil-doers have taken out their swords, their bows are bent; for crushing the poor, and to put to death those who are upright in their ways.	Salmi 37:14 Gli empi han tratto la spada e teso il loro arco per abbattere il misero e il bisognoso, per sgozzare quelli che vanno per la via diritta.
Psalms 37:15 But their swords will be turned into their hearts, and their bows will be broken.	Salmi 37:15 La loro spada entrerà loro nel cuore, e gli archi loro saranno rotti.
Psalms 37:16 The little which the good man has is better than the wealth of evil-doers.	Salmi 37:16 Meglio vale il poco del giusto che l’abbondanza di molti empi.
Psalms 37:17 For the arms of the evil-doers will be broken: but the Lord is the support of the good.	Salmi 37:17 Perché le braccia degli empi saranno rotte; ma l’Eterno sostiene i giusti.
Psalms 37:18 The days of the upright are numbered by the Lord, and their heritage will be for ever.	Salmi 37:18 L’Eterno conosce i giorni degli uomini integri; e la loro eredità durerà in perpetuo.
Psalms 37:19 They will not be shamed in the evil time, and in the days when all are in need of food they will have enough.	Salmi 37:19 Essi non saran confusi nel tempo dell’avversità, e saranno saziati nel tempo dalla fame.
Psalms 37:20 But the wrongdoers will come to destruction, and the haters of the Lord will be like the fat of lambs, they will be burned up; they will go up in smoke, and never again be seen.	Salmi 37:20 Ma gli empi periranno; e i nemici dell’Eterno, come grasso d’agnelli, saran consumati e andranno in fumo.
Psalms 37:21 The sinner takes money and does not give it back; but the upright man has mercy, and gives to others.	Salmi 37:21 L’empio prende a prestito e non rende; ma il giusto è pietoso e dona.
Psalms 37:22 Those who have his blessing will have the earth for their heritage; but those who are cursed by him will be cut off.	Salmi 37:22 Poiché quelli che Dio benedice erederanno la terra, ma quelli ch’ei maledice saranno sterminati.
Psalms 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and he takes delight in his way.	Salmi 37:23 I passi dell’uomo dabbene son diretti dall’Eterno ed egli gradisce le vie di lui.
Psalms 37:24 Even if he has a fall he will not be without help: for the hand of the Lord is supporting him.	Salmi 37:24 Se cade, non è però atterrato, perché l’Eterno lo sostiene per la mano.
Psalms 37:25 I have been young, and now am old, but I have not seen the good man without help, or his children looking for bread.	Salmi 37:25 Io sono stato giovane e son anche divenuto vecchio, ma non ho visto il giusto abbandonato, né la sua progenie accattare il pane.
Psalms 37:26 All the day he is ready to have mercy and to give; his children are a blessing.	Salmi 37:26 Egli tutti i giorni è pietoso e presta, e la sua progenie è in benedizione.
Psalms 37:27 Be turned from evil, and do good; and your place will be for ever.	Salmi 37:27 Ritraiti dal male e fa’ il bene, e dimorerai nel paese in perpetuo.
Psalms 37:28 For the Lord is a lover of righteousness, and takes care of his saints; they will be kept safe for ever; but the seed of the evil-doers will be cut off.	Salmi 37:28 Poiché l’Eterno ama la giustizia e non abbandona i suoi santi; essi son conservati in perpetuo; ma la progenie degli empi sarà sterminata.
Psalms 37:29 The upright will have the earth for their heritage, and will go on living there for ever.	Salmi 37:29 I giusti erederanno la terra e l’abiteranno in perpetuo.
Psalms 37:30 The mouth of the good man says words of wisdom; the talk of his tongue is of righteousness.	Salmi 37:30 La bocca del giusto proferisce sapienza e la sua lingua pronunzia giustizia.
Psalms 37:31 The law of his God is in his heart; he will never make a false step.	Salmi 37:31 La legge del suo Dio è nel suo cuore; i suoi passi non vacilleranno.
Psalms 37:32 The sinners are watching the upright man, desiring to put him to death.	Salmi 37:32 L’empio spia il giusto e cerca di farlo morire.
Psalms 37:33 The Lord will not give him into their hands, or be against him when he is judged.	Salmi 37:33 L’Eterno non l’abbandonerà nelle sue mani, e non lo condannerà quando verrà in giudicio.
Psalms 37:34 Be waiting for the Lord, and keep his way; and you will be lifted up, and have the land for your heritage: when the evil-doers are cut off, you will see it.	Salmi 37:34 Aspetta l’Eterno e osserva la sua via; egli t’innalzerà perché tu eredi la terra; e quando gli empi saranno sterminati, tu lo vedrai.
Psalms 37:35 I have seen the evil-doer in great power, covering the earth like a great tree.	Salmi 37:35 Io ho veduto l’empio potente, e distendersi come albero verde sul suolo natìo;
Psalms 37:36 But he came to an end, and there was no sign of him; I made a search for him and he was not there.	Salmi 37:36 ma è passato via, ed ecco, non è più; io l’ho cercato, ma non s’è più trovato.
Psalms 37:37 Give attention to the good man, and take note of the upright; because the end of that man is peace.	Salmi 37:37 Osserva l’uomo integro e considera l’uomo retto; perché v’è una posterità per l’uomo di pace.
Psalms 37:38 But as for the sinners, they will be cut off together; the end of the wrongdoers is destruction.	Salmi 37:38 Mentre i trasgressori saranno tutti quanti distrutti; la posterità degli empi sarà sterminata.
Psalms 37:39 But the Lord is the saviour of the upright: he is their strength in the time of trouble.	Salmi 37:39 Ma la salvezza dei giusti procede dall’Eterno; egli è la loro fortezza nel tempo della distretta.
Psalms 37:40 And the Lord will be their help, and keep them safe: he will take them out of the hands of the evil-doers, and be their saviour, because they had faith in him.	Salmi 37:40 L’Eterno li aiuta e li libera: li libera dagli empi e li salva, perché si sono rifugiati in lui.
