Psalms 73	Salmi 73
Psalms 73:1 Truly, God is good to Israel, even to such as are clean in heart.	Salmi 73:1 Salmo di Asaf. Certo, Iddio è buono verso Israele, verso quelli che son puri di cuore.
Psalms 73:2 But as for me, my feet had almost gone from under me; I was near to slipping;	Salmi 73:2 Ma, quant’è a me, quasi inciamparono i miei piedi; poco mancò che i miei passi non sdrucciolassero.
Psalms 73:3 Because of my envy of the men of pride, when I saw the well-being of the wrongdoers.	Salmi 73:3 Poiché io portavo invidia agli orgogliosi, vedendo la prosperità degli empi.
Psalms 73:4 For they have no pain; their bodies are fat and strong.	Salmi 73:4 Poiché per loro non vi son dolori, il loro corpo è sano e pingue.
Psalms 73:5 They are not in trouble as others are; they have no part in the unhappy fate of men.	Salmi 73:5 Non sono travagliati come gli altri mortali, né son colpiti come gli altri uomini.
Psalms 73:6 For this reason pride is round them like a chain; they are clothed with violent behaviour as with a robe.	Salmi 73:6 Perciò la superbia li cinge a guisa di collana, la violenza li cuopre a guisa di vestito.
Psalms 73:7 Their eyes are bursting with fat; they have more than their heart's desire.	Salmi 73:7 Dal loro cuore insensibile esce l’iniquità; le immaginazioni del cuor loro traboccano.
Psalms 73:8 Their thoughts are deep with evil designs; their talk from their seats of power is of cruel acts.	Salmi 73:8 Sbeffeggiano e malvagiamente ragionan d’opprimere; parlano altezzosamente.
Psalms 73:9 Their mouth goes up to heaven; their tongues go walking through the earth.	Salmi 73:9 Metton la loro bocca nel cielo, e la loro lingua passeggia per la terra.
Psalms 73:10 For this reason they are full of bread; and water is ever flowing for them.	Salmi 73:10 Perciò il popolo si volge dalla loro parte, e beve copiosamente alla loro sorgente,
Psalms 73:11 And they say, How will the Lord see this? is there knowledge in the Most High?	Salmi 73:11 e dice: Com’è possibile che Dio sappia ogni cosa, che vi sia conoscenza nell’Altissimo?
Psalms 73:12 Truly, such are the sinners; they do well at all times, and their wealth is increased.	Salmi 73:12 Ecco, costoro sono empi: eppure, tranquilli sempre, essi accrescono i loro averi.
Psalms 73:13 As for me, I have made my heart clean to no purpose, washing my hands in righteousness;	Salmi 73:13 Invano dunque ho purificato il mio cuore, e ho lavato le mie mani nell’innocenza!
Psalms 73:14 For I have been troubled all the day; every morning have I undergone punishment.	Salmi 73:14 Poiché son percosso ogni giorno, e il mio castigo si rinnova ogni mattina.
Psalms 73:15 If I would make clear what it is like, I would say, You are false to the generation of your children.	Salmi 73:15 Se avessi detto: Parlerò a quel modo, ecco, sarei stato infedele alla schiatta de’ tuoi figliuoli.
Psalms 73:16 When my thoughts were turned to see the reason of this, it was a weariness in my eyes;	Salmi 73:16 Ho voluto riflettere per intender questo, ma la cosa mi è parsa molto ardua,
Psalms 73:17 Till I went into God's holy place, and saw the end of the evil-doers.	Salmi 73:17 finché non sono entrato nel santuario di Dio, e non ho considerata la fine di costoro.
Psalms 73:18 You put their feet where there was danger of slipping, so that they go down into destruction.	Salmi 73:18 Certo, tu li metti in luoghi sdrucciolevoli, tu li fai cadere in rovina.
Psalms 73:19 How suddenly are they wasted! fears are the cause of their destruction.	Salmi 73:19 Come sono stati distrutti in un momento, portati via, consumati per casi spaventevoli!
Psalms 73:20 As a dream when one is awake, they are ended; they are like an image gone out of mind when sleep is over.	Salmi 73:20 Come avviene d’un sogno quand’uno si sveglia, così tu, o Signore, quando ti desterai, sprezzerai la loro vana apparenza.
Psalms 73:21 My heart was made bitter, and I was pained by the bite of grief:	Salmi 73:21 Quando il mio cuore s’inacerbiva ed io mi sentivo trafitto internamente,
Psalms 73:22 As for me, I was foolish, and without knowledge; I was like a beast before you.	Salmi 73:22 ero insensato e senza conoscimento; io ero verso di te come una bestia.
Psalms 73:23 But still I am ever with you; you have taken me by my right hand.	Salmi 73:23 Ma pure, io resto del continuo con te; tu m’hai preso per la man destra;
Psalms 73:24 Your wisdom will be my guide, and later you will put me in a place of honour.	Salmi 73:24 tu mi condurrai col tuo consiglio, e poi mi riceverai in gloria.
Psalms 73:25 Whom have I in heaven but you? and having you I have no desire for anything on earth.	Salmi 73:25 Chi ho io in cielo fuori di te? E sulla terra non desidero che te.
Psalms 73:26 My flesh and my heart are wasting away: but God is the Rock of my heart and my eternal heritage.	Salmi 73:26 La mia carne e il mio cuore posson venir meno, ma Dio è la ròcca del mio cuore e la mia parte in eterno.
Psalms 73:27 For those who are far away from you will come to destruction: you will put an end to all those who have not kept faith with you.	Salmi 73:27 Poiché, ecco, quelli che s’allontanan da te periranno; tu distruggi chiunque, fornicando, ti abbandona.
Psalms 73:28 But it is good for me to come near to God: I have put my faith in the Lord God, so that I may make clear all his works.	Salmi 73:28 Ma quanto a me, il mio bene è d’accostarmi a Dio; io ho fatto del Signore, dell’Eterno, il mio rifugio, per raccontare, o Dio, tutte le opere tue.
