Jesaja 5:1 Wohlan, ich will meinem Lieben singen, ein Lied meines Geliebten von seinem Weinberge: Mein Lieber hat einen Weinberg an einem fetten Ort.	Isaiah 5:1 Let me make a song about my loved one, a song of love for his vine-garden. My loved one had a vine-garden on a fertile hill:
Jesaja 5:2 Und er hat ihn verzäunt und mit Steinhaufen verwahrt und edle Reben darin gesenkt. Er baute auch einen Turm darin und grub eine Kelter darein und wartete, daß er Trauben brächte; aber er brachte Herlinge.	Isaiah 5:2 And after working the earth of it with a spade, he took away its stones, and put in it a very special vine; and he put up a watchtower in the middle of it, hollowing out in the rock a place for the grape-crushing; and he was hoping that it would give the best grapes, but it gave common grapes.
Jesaja 5:3 Nun richtet, ihr Bürger zu Jerusalem und ihr Männer Juda's, zwischen mir und meinem Weinberge.	Isaiah 5:3 And now, you people of Jerusalem and you men of Judah, be the judges between me and my vine-garden.
Jesaja 5:4 Was sollte man doch noch mehr tun an meinem Weinberge, das ich nicht getan habe an ihm? Warum hat er denn Herlinge gebracht, da ich erwartete, daß er Trauben brächte?	Isaiah 5:4 Is there anything which might have been done for my vine-garden which I have not done? why then, when I was hoping for the best grapes did it give me common grapes?
Jesaja 5:5 Wohlan, ich will euch zeigen, was ich meinem Weinberge tun will. Seine Wand soll weggenommen werden, daß er verwüstet werde; sein Zaun soll zerrissen werden, daß er zertreten werde.	Isaiah 5:5 And now, this is what I will do to my vine-garden: I will take away the circle of thorns round it, and it will be burned up; its wall will be broken down and the beasts of the field will go through it;
Jesaja 5:6 Ich will ihn wüst liegen lassen, daß er nicht beschnitten noch gehackt werde, sondern Disteln und Dornen darauf wachsen, und will den Wolken gebieten, daß sie nicht darauf regnen.	Isaiah 5:6 And I will make it waste; its branches will not be touched with the knife, or the earth worked with the spade; but blackberries and thorns will come up in it: and I will give orders to the clouds not to send rain on it.
Jesaja 5:7 Des HERRN Zebaoth Weinberg aber ist das Haus Israel, und die Männer Juda's seine Pflanzung, daran er Lust hatte. Er wartete auf Recht, siehe, so ist's Schinderei, auf Gerechtigkeit, siehe, so ist's Klage.	Isaiah 5:7 For the vine-garden of the Lord of armies is the people of Israel, and the men of Judah are the plant of his delight: and he was looking for upright judging, and there was blood; for righteousness, and there was a cry for help.
Jesaja 5:8 Weh denen, die ein Haus an das andere ziehen und einen Acker zum andern bringen, bis daß kein Raum mehr da sei, daß sie allein das Land besitzen!	Isaiah 5:8 Cursed are those who are joining house to house, and putting field to field, till there is no more living-space for any but themselves in all the land!
Jesaja 5:9 Es ist in meinen Ohren das Wort des HERRN Zebaoth: Was gilt's, wo nicht die vielen Häuser sollen wüst werden und die großen und feinen öde stehen?	Isaiah 5:9 The Lord of armies has said to me secretly, Truly, numbers of great and fair houses will be waste, with no one living in them.
Jesaja 5:10 Denn zehn Acker Weinberg soll nur einen Eimer geben und ein Malter Samen soll nur einen Scheffel geben.	Isaiah 5:10 For ten fields of vines will only give one measure of wine, and a great amount of seed will only give a small measure of grain.
Jesaja 5:11 Weh denen, die des Morgens früh auf sind, des Saufens sich zu fleißigen, und sitzen bis in die Nacht, daß sie der Wein erhitzt,	Isaiah 5:11 Cursed are those who get up early in the morning to give themselves up to strong drink; who keep on drinking far into the night till they are heated with wine!
Jesaja 5:12 und haben Harfen, Psalter, Pauken, Pfeifen und Wein in ihrem Wohlleben und sehen nicht auf das Werk des HERRN und schauen nicht auf das Geschäft seiner Hände!	Isaiah 5:12 And corded instruments and wind-instruments and wine are in their feasts: but they give no thought to the work of the Lord, and they are not interested in what his hands are doing.
Jesaja 5:13 Darum wird mein Volk müssen weggeführt werden unversehens, und werden seine Herrlichen Hunger leiden und sein Pöbel Durst leiden.	Isaiah 5:13 For this cause my people are taken away as prisoners into strange countries for need of knowledge: and their rulers are wasted for need of food, and their loud-voiced feasters are dry for need of water.
Jesaja 5:14 Daher hat die Hölle den Schlund weit aufgesperrt und den Rachen aufgetan ohne Maß, daß hinunterfahren beide, ihre Herrlichen und der Pöbel, ihre Reichen und Fröhlichen;	Isaiah 5:14 For this cause the underworld has made wide its throat, opening its mouth without limit: and her glory, and the noise of her masses, and her loud-voiced feasters, will go down into it.
Jesaja 5:15 daß jedermann sich bücken müsse und jedermann gedemütigt werde und die Augen der Hoffärtigen gedemütigt werden,	Isaiah 5:15 And the poor man's head is bent, and the great man goes down on his face, and the eyes of pride are put to shame:
Jesaja 5:16 aber der HERR Zebaoth erhöht werde im Recht und Gott, der Heilige, geheiligt werde in Gerechtigkeit.	Isaiah 5:16 But the Lord of armies is lifted up as judge, and the Holy God is seen to be holy in righteousness.
Jesaja 5:17 Da werden die Lämmer sich weiden an jener Statt, und Fremdlinge werden sich nähren in den Wüstungen der Fetten.	Isaiah 5:17 Then the lambs will get food as in their grass-lands, and the fat cattle will be feasting in the waste places.
Jesaja 5:18 Weh denen, die am Unrecht ziehen mit Stricken der Lüge und an der Sünde mit Wagenseilen	Isaiah 5:18 Cursed are those who make use of ox-cords for pulling the evil thing, and the bands of a young ox for their sin!
Jesaja 5:19 und sprechen: Laß eilend und bald kommen sein Werk, daß wir's sehen; laß herfahren und kommen den Anschlag des Heiligen in Israel, daß wir's innewerden.	Isaiah 5:19 Who say, Let him do his work quickly, let him make it sudden, so that we may see it: let the design of the Holy One of Israel come near, so that it may be clear to us.
Jesaja 5:20 Weh denen, die Böses gut und Gutes böse heißen, die aus Finsternis Licht und aus Licht Finsternis machen, die aus sauer süß und aus süß sauer machen!	Isaiah 5:20 Cursed are those who give the name of good to evil, and of evil to what is good: who make light dark, and dark light: who make bitter sweet, and sweet bitter!
Jesaja 5:21 Weh denen, die bei sich selbst weise sind und halten sich selbst für klug!	Isaiah 5:21 Cursed are those who seem wise to themselves, and who take pride in their knowledge!
Jesaja 5:22 Weh denen, die Helden sind, Wein zu saufen, und Krieger in Völlerei;	Isaiah 5:22 Cursed are those who are strong to take wine, and great in making mixed drinks!
Jesaja 5:23 die den Gottlosen gerechtsprechen um Geschenke willen und das Recht der Gerechten von ihnen wenden!	Isaiah 5:23 Who for a reward give support to the cause of the sinner, and who take away the righteousness of the upright from him.
Jesaja 5:24 Darum, wie des Feuers Flamme Stroh verzehrt und die Lohe Stoppeln hinnimmt, also wird ihre Wurzel verfaulen und ihre Blüte auffliegen wie Staub. Denn sie verachten das Gesetz des HERRN Zebaoth und lästern die Rede des Heiligen in Israel.	Isaiah 5:24 For this cause, as the waste of the grain is burned up by tongues of fire, and as the dry grass goes down before the flame, so their root will be like the dry stems of grain, and their flower will go up in dust: because they have gone against the law of the Lord of armies, and have given no honour to the word of the Holy One of Israel.
Jesaja 5:25 Darum ist der Zorn des HERRN ergrimmt über sein Volk, und er reckt seine Hand über sie und schlägt sie, daß die Berge beben und ihre Leichname wie Kot auf den Gassen sind. Und in dem allen läßt sein Zorn nicht ab, sondern seine Hand ist noch ausgereckt.	Isaiah 5:25 For this reason the wrath of the Lord has been burning against his people, and his hand has been stretched out against them in punishment, and the hills were shaking, and their dead bodies were like waste in the open places of the town.
Jesaja 5:26 Denn er wird ein Panier aufwerfen fern unter den Heiden und dieselben locken vom Ende der Erde. Und siehe, eilend und schnell kommen sie daher,	Isaiah 5:26 And he will let a flag be lifted up as a sign to a far-off nation, whistling to them from the ends of the earth: and they will come quickly and suddenly.
Jesaja 5:27 und ist keiner unter ihnen müde oder schwach, keiner schlummert noch schläft; keinem geht der Gürtel auf von seinen Lenden, und keinem zerreißt ein Schuhriemen.	Isaiah 5:27 There is no weariness among them, and no man is feeble-footed: they come without resting or sleeping, and the cord of their shoes is not broken.
Jesaja 5:28 Ihre Pfeile sind scharf und alle ihre Bogen gespannt. Ihrer Rosse Hufe sind wie Felsen geachtet und ihre Wagenräder wie ein Sturmwind.	Isaiah 5:28 Their arrows are sharp, and every bow is bent: the feet of their horses are like rock, and their wheels are like a rushing storm.
Jesaja 5:29 Ihr Brüllen ist wie das der Löwen, und sie brüllen wie junge Löwen; sie werden daherbrausen und den Raub erhaschen und davonbringen, daß niemand retten wird,	Isaiah 5:29 The sound of their armies will be like the voice of a lion, and their war-cry like the noise of young lions: with loud cries they will come down on their food and will take it away safely, and there will be no one to take it out of their hands.
Jesaja 5:30 und werden über sie brausen zu der Zeit wie das Meer. Wenn man dann das Land ansehen wird, siehe, so ist's finster vor Angst, und das Licht scheint nicht mehr oben über ihnen.	Isaiah 5:30 And his voice will be loud over him in that day like the sounding of the sea: and if a man's eyes are turned to the earth, it is all dark and full of trouble; and the light is made dark by thick clouds.
