Isaiah 59:1 Truly, the Lord's hand has not become short, so that he is unable to give salvation; and his ear is not shut from hearing:	Jesaja 59:1 Siehe, des HERRN Hand ist nicht zu kurz, daß er nicht helfen könne, und seine Ohren sind nicht hart geworden, daß er nicht höre;
Isaiah 59:2 But your sins have come between you and your God, and by your evil doings his face has been veiled from you, so that he will give you no answer.	Jesaja 59:2 sondern eure Untugenden scheiden euch und euren Gott voneinander, und eure Sünden verbergen das Angesicht vor euch, daß ihr nicht gehört werdet.
Isaiah 59:3 For your hands are unclean with blood, and your fingers with sin; your lips have said false things, and your tongue gives out deceit.	Jesaja 59:3 Denn eure Hände sind mit Blut befleckt und eure Finger mit Untugend; eure Lippen reden Falsches, eure Zunge dichtet Unrechtes.
Isaiah 59:4 No one puts forward an upright cause, or gives a true decision: their hope is in deceit, and their words are false; they are with child with sin, and give birth to evil.	Jesaja 59:4 Es ist niemand, der von Gerechtigkeit predige oder treulich richte. Man vertraut aufs Eitle und redet nichts Tüchtiges; mit Unglück sind sie schwanger und gebären Mühsal.
Isaiah 59:5 They give birth to snake's eggs, and make spider's threads: whoever takes their eggs for food comes to his death, and the egg which is crushed becomes a poison-snake.	Jesaja 59:5 Sie brüten Basiliskeneier und wirken Spinnwebe. Ißt man von ihren Eiern, so muß man sterben; zertritt man's aber, so fährt eine Otter heraus.
Isaiah 59:6 Their twisted threads will not make clothing, and their works will give them nothing for covering themselves: their works are works of sin, and violent acts are in their hands.	Jesaja 59:6 Ihre Spinnwebe taugt nicht zu Kleidern, und ihr Gewirke taugt nicht zur Decke; denn ihr Werk ist Unrecht, und in ihren Händen ist Frevel.
Isaiah 59:7 Their feet go quickly to evil, and they take delight in the death of the upright; their thoughts are thoughts of sin; wasting and destruction are in their ways.	Jesaja 59:7 Ihre Füße laufen zum Bösen, und sie sind schnell, unschuldig Blut zu vergießen; ihre Gedanken sind Unrecht, ihr Weg ist eitel Verderben und Schaden;
Isaiah 59:8 They have no knowledge of the way of peace, and there is no sense of what is right in their behaviour: they have made for themselves ways which are not straight; whoever goes in them has no knowledge of peace.	Jesaja 59:8 sie kennen den Weg des Friedens nicht, und ist kein Recht in ihren Gängen; sie sind verkehrt auf ihren Straßen; wer darauf geht, der hat nimmer Frieden.
Isaiah 59:9 For this cause our right is far from us, and righteousness does not overtake us: we are looking for light, but there is only the dark; for the shining of the sun, but our way is in the night.	Jesaja 59:9 Darum ist das Recht fern von uns, und wir erlangen die Gerechtigkeit nicht. Wir harren aufs Licht, siehe, so wird's finster, auf den Schein, siehe, so wandeln wir im Dunkeln.
Isaiah 59:10 We go on our way, like blind men feeling for the wall, even like those who have no eyes: we are running against things in daylight as if it was evening; our place is in the dark like dead men.	Jesaja 59:10 Wir tappen nach der Wand wie die Blinden und tappen, wie die keine Augen haben. Wir stoßen uns im Mittag wie in der Dämmerung; wir sind im Düstern wie die Toten.
Isaiah 59:11 We make noises of grief, like bears, and sad sounds like doves: we are looking for our right, but it is not there; for salvation, but it is far from us.	Jesaja 59:11 Wir brummen alle wie die Bären und ächzen wie die Tauben; denn wir harren aufs Recht, so ist's nicht da, aufs Heil, so ist's ferne von uns.
Isaiah 59:12 For our evil doings are increased before you, and our sins give witness against us: for our evil doings are with us, and we have knowledge of our sins:	Jesaja 59:12 Denn unsere Übertretungen vor dir sind zu viel, und unsre Sünden antworten wider uns. Denn unsre Übertretungen sind bei uns und wir fühlen unsere Sünden:
Isaiah 59:13 We have gone against the Lord, and been false to him, turning away from our God, our words have been uncontrolled, and in our hearts are thoughts of deceit.	Jesaja 59:13 mit Übertreten und Lügen wider den HERRN und Zurückkehren von unserm Gott und mit Reden von Frevel und Ungehorsam, mit Trachten und dichten falscher Worte aus dem Herzen.
Isaiah 59:14 And the right is turned back, and righteousness is far away: for good faith is not to be seen in the public places, and upright behaviour may not come into the town.	Jesaja 59:14 Und das Recht ist zurückgewichen und Gerechtigkeit fern getreten; denn die Wahrheit fällt auf der Gasse, und Recht kann nicht einhergehen,
Isaiah 59:15 Yes, faith is gone; and he whose heart is turned from evil comes into the power of the cruel: and the Lord saw it, and he was angry that there was no one to take up their cause.	Jesaja 59:15 und die Wahrheit ist dahin; und wer vom Bösen weicht, der muß jedermanns Raub sein. Solches sieht der HERR, und es gefällt ihm übel, daß kein Recht da ist.
Isaiah 59:16 And he saw that there was no man, and was surprised that there was no one to take up their cause: so his arm gave salvation, and he made righteousness his support.	Jesaja 59:16 Und er sieht, daß niemand da ist, und verwundert sich, daß niemand ins Mittel tritt. Darum hilft er sich selbst mit seinem Arm, und seine Gerechtigkeit steht ihm bei.
Isaiah 59:17 Yes, he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and salvation as a head-dress; and he put on punishment as clothing, and wrath as a robe.	Jesaja 59:17 Denn er zieht Gerechtigkeit an wie einen Panzer und setzt einen Helm des Heils auf sein Haupt und zieht sich an zur Rache und kleidet sich mit Eifer wie mit einem Rock,
Isaiah 59:18 He will give them the right reward of their doings, wrath to his attackers, punishment to his haters, and even on the sea-lands he will send punishment.	Jesaja 59:18 als der seinen Widersachern vergelten und seinen Feinden mit Grimm bezahlen will; ja, den Inseln will er bezahlen,
Isaiah 59:19 So they will see the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the east: for he will come like a rushing stream, forced on by a wind of the Lord.	Jesaja 59:19 daß der Name des HERRN gefürchtet werde vom Niedergang und seine Herrlichkeit vom Aufgang der Sonne, wenn er kommen wird wie ein aufgehaltener Strom, den der Wind des HERRN treibt.
Isaiah 59:20 And as a saviour he will come to Zion, turning away sin from Jacob, says the Lord.	Jesaja 59:20 Denn denen zu Zion wird ein Erlöser kommen und denen, die sich bekehren von den Sünden in Jakob, spricht der HERR.
Isaiah 59:21 And as for me, this is my agreement with them, says the Lord: my spirit which is on you, and my words which I have put in your mouth, will not go away from your mouth, or from the mouth of your seed, or from the mouth of your seed's seed, says the Lord, from now and for ever.	Jesaja 59:21 Und ich mache solchen Bund mit ihnen, spricht der HERR: mein Geist, der bei dir ist, und meine Worte, die ich in deinen Mund gelegt habe, sollen von deinem Munde nicht weichen noch von dem Munde deines Samens und Kindeskindes, spricht der HERR, von nun an bis in Ewigkeit.
