Jeremia 21:1 Dies ist das Wort, so vom HERRN geschah zu Jeremia, da der König Zedekia zu ihm sandte Pashur, den Sohn Malchias, und Zephanja, den Sohn Maasejas, den Priester, und ließ ihm sagen:	Jeremiah 21:1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, when King Zedekiah sent to him Pashhur, the son of Malchiah, and Zephaniah, the son of Maaseiah the priest, saying,
Jeremia 21:2 Frage doch den HERRN für uns. Denn Nebukadnezar, der König zu Babel, streitet wider uns; daß der HERR doch mit uns tun wolle nach allen seinen Wundern, damit er von uns abzöge.	Jeremiah 21:2 Will you get directions from the Lord for us; for Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, is making war against us; it may be that the Lord will do something for us like all the wonders he has done, and make him go away from us.
Jeremia 21:3 Jeremia sprach zu ihnen: So saget Zedekia:	Jeremiah 21:3 Then Jeremiah said to them, This is what you are to say to Zedekiah:
Jeremia 21:4 Das spricht der Herr, der Gott Israels: Siehe, ich will die Waffen zurückwenden, die ihr in euren Händen habt, womit ihr streitet wider den König zu Babel und wider die Chaldäer, welche euch draußen an der Mauer belagert haben; und will sie zuhauf sammeln mitten in dieser Stadt.	Jeremiah 21:4 The Lord God of Israel has said, See, I am turning back the instruments of war in your hands, with which you are fighting against the king of Babylon and the Chaldaeans, who are outside the walls and shutting you in; and I will get them together inside this town.
Jeremia 21:5 Und ich will wider euch streiten mit ausgereckter Hand, mit starkem Arm, mit Zorn, Grimm und großer Ungnade.	Jeremiah 21:5 And I myself will be fighting against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even with angry feeling and passion and in great wrath.
Jeremia 21:6 Und ich will die Bürger dieser Stadt schlagen, die Menschen und das Vieh, daß sie sterben sollen durch eine große Pestilenz.	Jeremiah 21:6 And I will send a great disease on the people living in this town, on man and on beast, causing their death.
Jeremia 21:7 Und darnach, spricht der HERR, will ich Zedekia, den König Juda's, samt seinen Knechten und dem Volk, das in dieser Stadt vor der Pestilenz, vor Schwert und Hunger übrigbleiben wird, geben in die Hände Nebukadnezars, des Königs zu Babel, und in die Hände ihrer Feinde, und in die Hände derer, die ihnen nach dem Leben stehen, daß er sie mit der Schärfe des Schwerts also schlage, daß kein Schonen noch Gnade noch Barmherzigkeit da sei.	Jeremiah 21:7 And after that, says the Lord, I will give up Zedekiah, king of Judah, and his servants and his people, even those in the town who have not come to their end from the disease and the sword and from need of food, into the hands of Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, and into the hands of their haters, and into the hands of those desiring their death: he will put them to the sword; he will not let anyone get away, he will have no pity or mercy.
Jeremia 21:8 Und sage diesem Volk: So spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich lege euch vor den Weg zum Leben und den Weg zum Tode.	Jeremiah 21:8 And to this people you are to say, The Lord has said, See, I put before you the way of life and the way of death.
Jeremia 21:9 Wer in dieser Stadt bleibt, der wird sterben müssen durch Schwert, Hunger und Pestilenz; wer aber sich hinausbegibt zu den Chaldäern, die euch belagern, der soll lebendig bleiben und soll sein Leben als eine Ausbeute behalten.	Jeremiah 21:9 He who keeps in this town will come to his death by the sword and through need of food and through disease; but he who goes out and gives himself up to the Chaldaeans who are shutting you in, will go on living, and will keep his life safe.
Jeremia 21:10 Denn ich habe mein Angesicht über diese Stadt gerichtet zum Unglück und zu keinem Guten, spricht der HERR. Sie soll dem König zu Babel übergeben werden, daß er sie mit Feuer verbrenne.	Jeremiah 21:10 For my face is turned to this town for evil and not for good, says the Lord: it will be given into the hands of the king of Babylon, and he will have it burned with fire.
Jeremia 21:11 Und höret des HERRN Wort, ihr vom Hause des Königs in Juda!	Jeremiah 21:11 About the family of the king of Judah. Give ear to the word of the Lord;
Jeremia 21:12 Du Haus David, so spricht der Herr: Haltet des Morgens Gericht und errettet die Beraubten aus des Frevlers Hand, auf daß mein Grimm nicht ausfahre wie ein Feuer und brenne also, das niemand löschen könne, um eures bösen Wesens willen.	Jeremiah 21:12 O family of David, this is what the Lord has said: Do what is right in the morning, and make free from the hands of the cruel one him whose goods have been violently taken away, or my wrath will go out like fire, burning so that no one may put it out, because of the evil of your doings.
Jeremia 21:13 Siehe, spricht der HERR, ich will an dich, die du wohnst im Grunde, auf dem Felsen der Ebene und sprichst: Wer will uns überfallen oder in unsre Feste kommen?	Jeremiah 21:13 See, I am against you, you who are living on the rock of the valley, says the Lord; you who say, Who will come down against us? or who will get into our houses?
Jeremia 21:14 Ich will euch heimsuchen, spricht der HERR, nach der Frucht eures Tuns; ich will ein Feuer anzünden in ihrem Walde, das soll alles umher verzehren.	Jeremiah 21:14 I will send punishment on you in keeping with the fruit of your doings, says the Lord: and I will put a fire in her woodlands, burning up everything round about her.
