Jeremiah 8:1 At that time, says the Lord, they will take the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his rulers, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the people of Jerusalem out of their resting-places:	Jeremías 8:1 EN aquel tiempo, dice Jehová, sacarán los huesos de los reyes de Judá, y los huesos de sus príncipes, y los huesos de los sacerdotes, y los huesos de los profetas, y los huesos de los moradores de Jerusalem, fuera de sus sepulcros;
Jeremiah 8:2 And they will put them out before the sun and the moon and all the stars of heaven, whose lovers and servants they have been, after whom they have gone, to whom they have made prayers, and to whom they have given worship: they will not be put together or placed in the earth; they will be waste on the face of the earth.	Jeremías 8:2 Y los esparcirán al sol, y á la luna, y á todo el ejército del cielo, á quien amaron, y á quienes sirvieron, y en pos de quienes anduvieron, y á quienes preguntaron, y á quienes se encorvaron. No serán recogidos, ni enterrados: serán por muladar sobre la haz de la tierra.
Jeremiah 8:3 And death will be desired more than life by the rest of this evil family who are still living in all the places where I have sent them away, says the Lord of armies.	Jeremías 8:3 Y escogeráse la muerte antes que la vida por todo el resto que quedare de esta mala generación, en todos los lugares á donde los arrojaré yo á los que quedaren, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.
Jeremiah 8:4 Further, you are to say to them, This is what the Lord has said: Will those who are falling not be lifted up again? will he who has gone away not come back?	Jeremías 8:4 Les dirás asimismo: Así ha dicho Jehová: ¿El que cae, no se levanta? ¿el que se desvía, no torna á camino?
Jeremiah 8:5 Why do these people of Jerusalem go back, for ever turning away? they will not give up their deceit, they will not come back.	Jeremías 8:5 ¿Por qué es este pueblo de Jerusalem rebelde con rebeldía perpetua? Abrazaron el engaño, no han querido volverse.
Jeremiah 8:6 I took note and gave ear, but no one said what is right: no man had regret for his evil-doing, saying, What have I done? everyone goes off on his way like a horse rushing to the fight.	Jeremías 8:6 Escuché y oí; no hablan derecho, no hay hombre que se arrepienta de su mal, diciendo: ¿Qué he hecho? Cada cual se volvió á su carrera, como caballo que arremete con ímpetu á la batalla.
Jeremiah 8:7 Truly, the stork in the heavens is conscious of her fixed times; the dove and the swallow and the crane keep to the times of their coming; but my people have no knowledge of the law of the Lord.	Jeremías 8:7 Aun la cigüeña en el cielo conoce su tiempo, y la tórtola y la grulla y la golondrina guardan el tiempo de su venida; mas mi pueblo no conoce el juicio de Jehová.
Jeremiah 8:8 How is it that you say, We are wise and the law of the Lord is with us? But see, the false pen of the scribes has made it false.	Jeremías 8:8 ¿Cómo decís: Nosotros somos sabios, y la ley de Jehová es con nosotros? Ciertamente, he aquí que en vano se cortó la pluma, por demás fueron los escribas.
Jeremiah 8:9 The wise men are shamed, they are overcome with fear and taken: see, they have given up the word of the Lord; and what use is their wisdom to them?	Jeremías 8:9 Los sabios se avergonzaron, espantáronse y fueron presos: he aquí que aborrecieron la palabra de Jehová; ¿y qué sabiduría tienen?
Jeremiah 8:10 So I will give their wives to others, and their fields to those who will take them for themselves: for everyone, from the least to the greatest, is given up to getting money; from the priest even to the prophet, everyone is false.	Jeremías 8:10 Por tanto daré á otros sus mujeres, y sus heredades á quien las posea: porque desde el chico hasta el grande cada uno sigue la avaricia, desde el profeta hasta el sacerdote todos hacen engaño.
Jeremiah 8:11 And they have made little of the wounds of the daughter of Zion, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.	Jeremías 8:11 Y curaron el quebrantamiento de la hija de mi pueblo con liviandad, diciendo: Paz, paz; y no hay paz.
Jeremiah 8:12 Let them be put to shame because they have done disgusting things. They had no shame, they were not able to become red with shame: so they will come down with those who are falling: in the time of their punishment they will be made low, says the Lord.	Jeremías 8:12 ¿Hanse avergonzado de haber hecho abominación? Por cierto no se han corrido de vergüenza, ni supieron avergonzarse; caerán por tanto entre los que cayeren, cuando los visitaré: caerán, dice Jehová.
Jeremiah 8:13 I will put an end to them completely, says the Lord: there are no grapes on the vine and no figs on the fig-tree, and the leaf is dry.	Jeremías 8:13 Cortarélos de por junto, dice Jehová. No habrá uvas en la vid, ni higos en la higuera, y caeráse la hoja; y lo que les he dado pasará de ellos.
Jeremiah 8:14 Why are we seated doing nothing? come together, and let us go to the walled towns, and let destruction overtake us there, for the Lord our God has sent destruction on us, and given us bitter water for our drink, because we have done evil against the Lord.	Jeremías 8:14 ¿Sobre qué nos aseguramos? Juntaos, y entrémonos en las ciudades fuertes, y allí reposaremos: porque Jehová nuestro Dios nos ha hecho callar, y dádonos á beber bebida de hiel, porque pecamos contra Jehová.
Jeremiah 8:15 We were looking for peace, but no good came; and for a time of well-being, but there is only a great fear.	Jeremías 8:15 Esperamos paz, y no hubo bien; día de cura, y he aquí turbación.
Jeremiah 8:16 The loud breathing of the horses comes to our ears from Dan: at the sound of the outcry of his war-horses, all the land is shaking with fear; for they have come, and have made a meal of the land and everything in it; the town and the people living in it.	Jeremías 8:16 Desde Dan se oyó el bufido de sus caballos: del sonido de los relinchos de sus fuertes tembló toda la tierra; y vinieron y devoraron la tierra y su abundancia, ciudad y moradores de ella.
Jeremiah 8:17 See, I will send snakes and poison-snakes among you, against which the wonder-worker has no power; and they will give you wounds which may not be made well, says the Lord.	Jeremías 8:17 Porque he aquí que yo envío sobre vosotros serpientes, basiliscos, contra los cuales no hay encantamiento; y os morderán, dice Jehová.
Jeremiah 8:18 Sorrow has come on me! my heart in me is feeble.	Jeremías 8:18 A causa de mi fuerte dolor mi corazón desfallece en mí.
Jeremiah 8:19 The voice of the cry of the daughter of my people comes from a far land: Is the Lord not in Zion? is not her King in her? Why have they made me angry with their images and their strange gods which are no gods?	Jeremías 8:19 He aquí voz del clamor de la hija de mi pueblo, que viene de la tierra lejana: ¿No está Jehová en Sión? ¿no está en ella su Rey? ¿Por qué me hicieron airar con sus imágenes de talla, con vanidades ajenas?
Jeremiah 8:20 The grain-cutting is past, the summer is ended, and no salvation has come to us.	Jeremías 8:20 Pasóse la siega, acabóse el verano, y nosotros no hemos sido salvos.
Jeremiah 8:21 For the destruction of the daughter of my people I am broken: I am dressed in the clothing of grief; fear has taken me in its grip.	Jeremías 8:21 Quebrantado estoy por el quebrantamiento de la hija de mi pueblo; entenebrecido estoy, espanto me ha arrebatado.
Jeremiah 8:22 Is there no life-giving oil in Gilead? is there no expert in medical arts? why then have my people not been made well?	Jeremías 8:22 ¿No hay bálsamo en Galaad? ¿no hay allí médico? ¿Por qué pues no hubo medicina para la hija de mi pueblo?
