Proverbs 21:1 The king's heart in the hands of the Lord is like the water streams, and by him it is turned in any direction at his pleasure.	Притчи 21:1 Сердце царя--в руке Господа, как потоки вод: куда захочет, Он направляет его.
Proverbs 21:2 Every way of a man seems right to himself, but the Lord is the tester of hearts.	Притчи 21:2 Всякий путь человека прям в глазах его; но Господь взвешивает сердца.
Proverbs 21:3 To do what is right and true is more pleasing to the Lord than an offering.	Притчи 21:3 Соблюдение правды и правосудия более угодно Господу, нежели жертва.
Proverbs 21:4 A high look and a heart of pride, *** of the evil-doer is sin.	Притчи 21:4 Гордость очей и надменность сердца, отличающие нечестивых, --грех.
Proverbs 21:5 The purposes of the man of industry have their outcome only in wealth; but one who is over-quick in acting will only come to be in need.	Притчи 21:5 Помышления прилежного стремятся к изобилию, а всякий торопливый терпит лишение.
Proverbs 21:6 He who gets stores of wealth by a false tongue, is going after what is only breath, and searching for death.	Притчи 21:6 Приобретение сокровища лживым языком--мимолетное дуновение ищущих смерти.
Proverbs 21:7 By their violent acts the evil-doers will be pulled away, because they have no desire to do what is right.	Притчи 21:7 Насилие нечестивых обрушится на них, потому что они отреклись соблюдать правду.
Proverbs 21:8 Twisted is the way of him who is full of crime; but as for him whose heart is clean, his work is upright.	Притчи 21:8 Превратен путь человека развращенного; а кто чист, того действие прямо.
Proverbs 21:9 It is better to be living in an angle of the house-top, than with a bitter-tongued woman in a wide house.	Притчи 21:9 Лучше жить в углу на кровле, нежели со сварливою женою в пространном доме.
Proverbs 21:10 The desire of the evil-doer is fixed on evil: he has no kind feeling for his neighbour.	Притчи 21:10 Душа нечестивого желает зла: не найдет милости в глазах его и друг его.
Proverbs 21:11 When the man of pride undergoes punishment, the simple man gets wisdom; and by watching the wise he gets knowledge.	Притчи 21:11 Когда наказывается кощунник, простой делается мудрым; и когда вразумляется мудрый, то он приобретает знание.
Proverbs 21:12 The Upright One, looking on the house of the evil-doer, lets sinners be overturned to their destruction.	Притчи 21:12 Праведник наблюдает за домом нечестивого: как повергаются нечестивые в несчастие.
Proverbs 21:13 He whose ears are stopped at the cry of the poor, will himself get no answer to his cry for help.	Притчи 21:13 Кто затыкает ухо свое от вопля бедного, тот и сам будет вопить, --и не будет услышан.
Proverbs 21:14 By a secret offering wrath is turned away, and the heat of angry feelings by money in the folds of the robe.	Притчи 21:14 Подарок тайный тушит гнев, и дар в пазуху--сильную ярость.
Proverbs 21:15 It is a joy to the good man to do right, but it is destruction to the workers of evil.	Притчи 21:15 Соблюдение правосудия--радость для праведника и страх для делающих зло.
Proverbs 21:16 The wanderer from the way of knowledge will have his resting-place among the shades.	Притчи 21:16 Человек, сбившийся с пути разума, водворится в собрании мертвецов.
Proverbs 21:17 The lover of pleasure will be a poor man: the lover of wine and oil will not get wealth.	Притчи 21:17 Кто любит веселье, обеднеет; а кто любит вино и тук, не разбогатеет.
Proverbs 21:18 The evil-doer will be given as a price for the life of the good man, and the worker of deceit in the place of the upright.	Притчи 21:18 Выкупом будет за праведного нечестивый и за прямодушного--лукавый.
Proverbs 21:19 It is better to be living in a waste land, than with a bitter-tongued and angry woman.	Притчи 21:19 Лучше жить в земле пустынной, нежели с женою сварливою и сердитою.
Proverbs 21:20 There is a store of great value in the house of the wise, but it is wasted by the foolish man.	Притчи 21:20 Вожделенное сокровище и тук--в доме мудрого; а глупый человек расточает их.
Proverbs 21:21 He who goes after righteousness and mercy will get life, righteousness, and honour.	Притчи 21:21 Соблюдающий правду и милость найдет жизнь, правду и славу.
Proverbs 21:22 A wise man goes up into the town of the strong ones, and overcomes its strength in which they put their faith.	Притчи 21:22 Мудрый входит в город сильных и ниспровергает крепость, на которую они надеялись.
Proverbs 21:23 He who keeps watch over his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles.	Притчи 21:23 Кто хранит уста свои и язык свой, тот хранит от бед душу свою.
Proverbs 21:24 The man of pride, lifted up in soul, is named high-hearted; he is acting in an outburst of pride.	Притчи 21:24 Надменный злодей--кощунник имя ему--действует в пылу гордости.
Proverbs 21:25 The desire of the hater of work is death to him, for his hands will do no work.	Притчи 21:25 Алчба ленивца убьет его, потому что руки его отказываются работать;
Proverbs 21:26 All the day the sinner goes after his desire: but the upright man gives freely, keeping nothing back.	Притчи 21:26 всякий день он сильно алчет, а праведник дает и не жалеет.
Proverbs 21:27 The offering of evil-doers is disgusting: how much more when they give it with an evil purpose!	Притчи 21:27 Жертва нечестивых--мерзость, особенно когда с лукавством приносят ее.
Proverbs 21:28 A false witness will be cut off, ...	Притчи 21:28 Лжесвидетель погибнет; а человек, который говорит, что знает, будет говорить всегда.
Proverbs 21:29 The evil-doer makes his face hard, but as for the upright, he gives thought to his way.	Притчи 21:29 Человек нечестивый дерзок лицом своим, а праведный держит прямо путь свой.
Proverbs 21:30 Wisdom and knowledge and wise suggestions are of no use against the Lord.	Притчи 21:30 Нет мудрости, и нет разума, и нет совета вопреки Господу.
Proverbs 21:31 The horse is made ready for the day of war, but power to overcome is from the Lord.	Притчи 21:31 Коня приготовляют на день битвы, но победа--от Господа.
