Proverbs 29:1 A man hating sharp words and making his heart hard, will suddenly be broken and will not be made well again.	Притчи 29:1 Человек, который, будучи обличаем, ожесточает выю свою, внезапно сокрушится, и не будет [ему] исцеления.
Proverbs 29:2 When the upright have power, the people are glad; when an evil man is ruler, grief comes on the people.	Притчи 29:2 Когда умножаются праведники, веселится народ, а когда господствует нечестивый, народ стенает.
Proverbs 29:3 A man who is a lover of wisdom is a joy to his father: but he who goes in the company of loose women is a waster of wealth.	Притчи 29:3 Человек, любящий мудрость, радует отца своего; а кто знается с блудницами, тот расточает имение.
Proverbs 29:4 A king, by right rule, makes the land safe; but one full of desires makes it a waste.	Притчи 29:4 Царь правосудием утверждает землю, а любящий подарки разоряет ее.
Proverbs 29:5 A man who says smooth things to his neighbour is stretching out a net for his steps.	Притчи 29:5 Человек, льстящий другу своему, расстилает сеть ногам его.
Proverbs 29:6 In the steps of an evil man there is a net for him, but the upright man gets away quickly and is glad.	Притчи 29:6 В грехе злого человека--сеть [для него], а праведник веселится и радуется.
Proverbs 29:7 The upright man gives attention to the cause of the poor: the evil-doer gives no thought to it.	Притчи 29:7 Праведник тщательно вникает в тяжбу бедных, а нечестивый не разбирает дела.
Proverbs 29:8 Men of pride are the cause of violent acts in a town, but by wise men wrath is turned away.	Притчи 29:8 Люди развратные возмущают город, а мудрые утишают мятеж.
Proverbs 29:9 If a wise man goes to law with a foolish man, he may be angry or laughing, but there will be no rest.	Притчи 29:9 Умный человек, судясь с человеком глупым, сердится ли, смеется ли, --не имеет покоя.
Proverbs 29:10 Men of blood are haters of the good man, and evil-doers go after his soul.	Притчи 29:10 Кровожадные люди ненавидят непорочного, а праведные заботятся о его жизни.
Proverbs 29:11 A foolish man lets out all his wrath, but a wise man keeps it back quietly.	Притчи 29:11 Глупый весь гнев свой изливает, а мудрый сдерживает его.
Proverbs 29:12 If a ruler gives attention to false words, all his servants are evil-doers.	Притчи 29:12 Если правитель слушает ложные речи, то и все служащие у него нечестивы.
Proverbs 29:13 The poor man and his creditor come face to face: the Lord gives light to their eyes equally.	Притчи 29:13 Бедный и лихоимец встречаются друг с другом; но свет глазам того и другого дает Господь.
Proverbs 29:14 The king who is a true judge in the cause of the poor, will be safe for ever on the seat of his power.	Притчи 29:14 Если царь судит бедных по правде, то престол его навсегда утвердится.
Proverbs 29:15 The rod and sharp words give wisdom: but a child who is not guided is a cause of shame to his mother.	Притчи 29:15 Розга и обличение дают мудрость; но отрок, оставленный в небрежении, делает стыд своей матери.
Proverbs 29:16 When evil men are in power, wrongdoing is increased; but the upright will have pleasure when they see their downfall.	Притчи 29:16 При умножении нечестивых умножается беззаконие; но праведники увидят падение их.
Proverbs 29:17 Give your son training, and he will give you rest; he will give delight to your soul.	Притчи 29:17 Наказывай сына твоего, и он даст тебе покой, и доставит радость душе твоей.
Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people are uncontrolled; but he who keeps the law will be happy.	Притчи 29:18 Без откровения свыше народ необуздан, а соблюдающий закон блажен.
Proverbs 29:19 A servant will not be trained by words; for though the sense of the words is clear to him, he will not give attention.	Притчи 29:19 Словами не научится раб, потому что, хотя он понимает [их], но не слушается.
Proverbs 29:20 Have you seen a man who is quick with his tongue? There is more hope for a foolish man than for him.	Притчи 29:20 Видал ли ты человека опрометчивого в словах своих? на глупого больше надежды, нежели на него.
Proverbs 29:21 If a servant is gently cared for from his early years, he will become a cause of sorrow in the end.	Притчи 29:21 Если с детства воспитывать раба в неге, то впоследствии он захочет быть сыном.
Proverbs 29:22 An angry man is the cause of fighting, and a man given to wrath does much wrong.	Притчи 29:22 Человек гневливый заводит ссору, и вспыльчивый много грешит.
Proverbs 29:23 A man's pride will be the cause of his fall, but he who has a gentle spirit will get honour.	Притчи 29:23 Гордость человека унижает его, а смиренный духом приобретает честь.
Proverbs 29:24 A man who takes part with a thief has hate for his soul; he is put under oath, but says nothing.	Притчи 29:24 Кто делится с вором, тот ненавидит душу свою; слышит он проклятие, но не объявляет о том.
Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man is a cause of danger: but whoever puts his faith in the Lord will have a safe place on high.	Притчи 29:25 Боязнь пред людьми ставит сеть; а надеющийся на Господа будет безопасен.
Proverbs 29:26 The approval of a ruler is desired by great numbers: but the decision in a man's cause comes from the Lord.	Притчи 29:26 Многие ищут [благосклонного] лица правителя, но судьба человека--от Господа.
Proverbs 29:27 An evil man is disgusting to the upright, and he who is upright is disgusting to evil-doers.	Притчи 29:27 Мерзость для праведников--человек неправедный, и мерзость для нечестивого--идущий прямым путем.
