Joshua 3:1 Then Joshua got up early in the morning, and, moving on from Shittim, he and all the children of Israel came to Jordan and were there for the night before going over.	Josua 3:1 Und Josua machte sich früh auf, und sie zogen aus Sittim und kamen an den Jordan, er und alle Kinder Israel, und blieben daselbst über Nacht, ehe sie hinüberzogen.
Joshua 3:2 And at the end of three days, the men in authority over the people went through the tents,	Josua 3:2 Nach drei Tagen aber gingen die Hauptleute durchs Lager
Joshua 3:3 Giving the people their orders, and saying, When you see the ark of the agreement of the Lord your God lifted up by the priests, the Levites, then get up from your places and go after it;	Josua 3:3 und geboten dem Volk und sprachen: Wenn ihr sehen werdet die Lade des Bundes des HERRN, eures Gottes, und die Priester aus den Leviten sie tragen, so ziehet aus von eurem Ort und folgt ihr nach.
Joshua 3:4 But let there be a space between you and it of about two thousand cubits: come no nearer to it, so that you may see the way you have to go, for you have not been over this way before.	Josua 3:4 Doch daß zwischen euch und ihr Raum sei bei zweitausend Ellen. Ihr sollt nicht zu ihr nahen, auf daß ihr wisset, auf welchem Weg ihr gehen sollt; denn ihr seid den Weg bisher nicht gegangen.
Joshua 3:5 And Joshua said to the people, Make yourselves holy, for tomorrow the Lord will do works of wonder among you.	Josua 3:5 Und Josua sprach zu dem Volk: Heiligt euch; denn morgen wir der HERR ein Wunder unter euch tun.
Joshua 3:6 Then Joshua said to the priests, Take up the ark of the agreement and go over in front of the people. So they took up the ark of the agreement and went in front of the people.	Josua 3:6 Und zu den Priestern sprach er: Tragt die Lade des Bundes und geht vor dem Volk her. Da trugen sie die Lade des Bundes und gingen vor dem Volk her.
Joshua 3:7 And the Lord said to Joshua, From now on I will give you glory in the eyes of all Israel, so that they may see that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with you.	Josua 3:7 Und der HERR sprach zu Josua: Heute will ich anfangen, dich groß zu machen vor dem ganzen Israel, daß sie wissen, wie ich mit Mose gewesen bin, also sei ich auch mit dir.
Joshua 3:8 And you are to give orders to the priests who take up the ark of the agreement, and say, When you come to the edge of the waters of Jordan, go no further.	Josua 3:8 Und du gebiete den Priestern, die die Lade des Bunde tragen, und sprich: Wenn ihr kommt vorn ins Wasser des Jordans, so steht still.
Joshua 3:9 And Joshua said to the children of Israel, Come to me here: and give ear to the words of the Lord your God.	Josua 3:9 Und Josua sprach zu den Kindern Israel: Herzu! und Hört die Worte des HERRN, eures Gottes!
Joshua 3:10 And Joshua said, By this you will see that the living God is among you, and that he will certainly send out from before you the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Hivite and the Perizzite and the Girgashite and the Amorite and the Jebusite.	Josua 3:10 Und sprach: Dabei sollt ihr merken, daß ein lebendiger Gott unter euch ist, und daß er vor euch austreiben wird die Kanaaniter, Hethiter, Heviter, Pheresiter, Girgasiter, Amoriter und Jebusiter.
Joshua 3:11 See, the ark of the agreement of the Lord of all the earth is going over before you into Jordan.	Josua 3:11 Siehe, die Lade des Bundes des Herrschers über alle Welt wird vor euch her gehen in den Jordan.
Joshua 3:12 So take twelve men out of the tribes of Israel, a man from every tribe.	Josua 3:12 So nehmt nun zwölf aus den Stämmen Israels, aus jeglichem Stamm einen.
Joshua 3:13 And when the feet of the priests who take up the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, come to rest in the waters of Jordan, the waters of Jordan will be cut off, all the waters flowing down from higher up, and will come together in a mass.	Josua 3:13 Wenn dann die Fußsohlen der Priester, die des HERRN Lade, des Herrschers über alle Welt, tragen, in des Jordans Wasser sich lassen, so wird das Wasser, das von oben herabfließt im Jordan, abreißen, daß es auf einem Haufen stehen bleibe.
Joshua 3:14 So when the people went out from their tents to go over Jordan, the priests who took up the ark of the agreement were in front of the people;	Josua 3:14 Da nun das Volk auszog aus seinen Hütten, daß sie über den Jordan gingen, und die Priester die Lade des Bundes vor dem Volk her trugen
Joshua 3:15 And when those who took up the ark came to Jordan, and the feet of the priests who took up the ark were touching the edge of the water (for the waters of Jordan are overflowing all through the time of the grain-cutting),	Josua 3:15 und an den Jordan kamen und ihre Füße vorn ins Wasser tauchten (der Jordan aber war voll an allen seinen Ufern die ganze Zeit der Ernte),
Joshua 3:16 Then the waters flowing down from higher up were stopped and came together in a mass a long way back at Adam, a town near Zarethan; and the waters flowing down to the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, were cut off: and the people went across opposite Jericho.	Josua 3:16 da stand das Wasser, das von oben herniederkam, aufgerichtet auf einem Haufen, sehr ferne, bei der Stadt Adam, die zur Seite Zarthans liegt; aber das Wasser das zum Meer hinunterlief, zum Salzmeer, das nahm ab und verfloß. Also ging das Volk hinüber, Jericho gegenüber.
Joshua 3:17 And the priests who took up the ark of the agreement of the Lord kept their places, with their feet on dry land in the middle of Jordan, while all Israel went over on dry land, till all the nation had gone over Jordan.	Josua 3:17 Und die Priester, die die Lade des Bundes des HERRN trugen, standen still im Trockenen mitten im Jordan. Und ganz Israel ging trocken durch, bis das ganze Volk alles über den Jordan kam.
