Ephesians 4:1 I then, the prisoner in the Lord, make this request from my heart, that you will see that your behaviour is a credit to the position which God's purpose has given you,	Epheser 4:1 So ermahne nun euch ich Gefangener in dem HERRN, daß ihr wandelt, wie sich's gebührt eurer Berufung, mit der ihr berufen seid,
Ephesians 4:2 With all gentle and quiet behaviour, taking whatever comes, putting up with one another in love;	Epheser 4:2 mit aller Demut und Sanftmut, mit Geduld, und vertraget einer den andern in der Liebe
Ephesians 4:3 Taking care to keep the harmony of the Spirit in the yoke of peace.	Epheser 4:3 und seid fleißig, zu halten die Einigkeit im Geist durch das Band des Friedens:
Ephesians 4:4 There is one body and one Spirit, even as you have been marked out by God in the one hope of his purpose for you;	Epheser 4:4 ein Leib und ein Geist, wie ihr auch berufen seid auf einerlei Hoffnung eurer Berufung;
Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,	Epheser 4:5 ein HERR, ein Glaube, eine Taufe;
Ephesians 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all.	Epheser 4:6 ein Gott und Vater unser aller, der da ist über euch allen und durch euch alle und in euch allen.
Ephesians 4:7 But to every one of us has grace been given in the measure of the giving of Christ.	Epheser 4:7 Einem jeglichen aber unter uns ist gegeben die Gnade nach dem Maß der Gabe Christi.
Ephesians 4:8 For this reason he says, He went up on high, taking his prisoners with him, and gave freely to men.	Epheser 4:8 Darum heißt es: "Er ist aufgefahren in die Höhe und hat das Gefängnis gefangengeführt und hat den Menschen Gaben gegeben."
Ephesians 4:9 (Now this, He went up, what is it but that he first went down into the lower parts of the earth?	Epheser 4:9 Daß er aber aufgefahren ist, was ist's, denn daß er zuvor ist hinuntergefahren in die untersten Örter der Erde?
Ephesians 4:10 He who went down is the same who went up far over all the heavens so that he might make all things complete.)	Epheser 4:10 Der hinuntergefahren ist, das ist derselbe, der aufgefahren ist über alle Himmel, auf daß er alles erfüllte.
Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some as Apostles, and some, prophets; and some, preachers of the good news; and some to give care and teaching;	Epheser 4:11 Und er hat etliche zu Aposteln gesetzt, etliche aber zu Propheten, etliche zu Evangelisten, etliche zu Hirten und Lehrern,
Ephesians 4:12 For the training of the saints as servants in the church, for the building up of the body of Christ:	Epheser 4:12 daß die Heiligen zugerichtet werden zum Werk des Dienstes, dadurch der Leib Christi erbaut werde,
Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come to the harmony of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to full growth, to the full measure of Christ:	Epheser 4:13 bis daß wir alle hinkommen zu einerlei Glauben und Erkenntnis des Sohnes Gottes und ein vollkommener Mann werden, der da sei im Maße des vollkommenen Alters Christi,
Ephesians 4:14 So that we may be no longer children, sent this way and that, turned about by every wind of teaching, by the twisting and tricks of men, by the deceits of error;	Epheser 4:14 auf daß wir nicht mehr Kinder seien und uns bewegen und wiegen lassen von allerlei Wind der Lehre durch Schalkheit der Menschen und Täuscherei, womit sie uns erschleichen, uns zu verführen.
Ephesians 4:15 But saying true words in love, may come to full growth in him, who is the head, even Christ;	Epheser 4:15 Lasset uns aber rechtschaffen sein in der Liebe und wachsen in allen Stücken an dem, der das Haupt ist, Christus,
Ephesians 4:16 Through whom all the body, being rightly formed and united together, by the full working of every part, is increased to the building up of itself in love.	Epheser 4:16 von welchem aus der ganze Leib zusammengefügt ist und ein Glied am andern hanget durch alle Gelenke, dadurch eins dem andern Handreichung tut nach dem Werk eines jeglichen Gliedes in seinem Maße und macht, daß der Leib wächst zu seiner selbst Besserung, und das alles in Liebe.
Ephesians 4:17 This I say, then, and give witness in the Lord, that you are to go no longer in the way of the Gentiles whose minds are turned to that which has no profit,	Epheser 4:17 So sage ich nun und bezeuge in dem HERRN, daß ihr nicht mehr wandelt, wie die andern Heiden wandeln in der Eitelkeit ihres Sinnes,
Ephesians 4:18 Whose thoughts are dark, to whom the life of God is strange because they are without knowledge, and their hearts have been made hard;	Epheser 4:18 deren Verstand verfinstert ist, und die entfremdet sind von dem Leben, das aus Gott ist, durch die Unwissenheit, so in ihnen ist, durch die Blindheit ihres Herzens;
Ephesians 4:19 Who having no more power of feeling, have given themselves up to evil passions, to do all unclean things with overmuch desire.	Epheser 4:19 welche ruchlos sind und ergeben sich der Unzucht und treiben allerlei Unreinigkeit samt dem Geiz.
Ephesians 4:20 For this was not the teaching of Christ which was given to you;	Epheser 4:20 Ihr aber habt Christum nicht also gelernt,
Ephesians 4:21 If in fact you gave ear to him, and were given teaching in him, even as what is true is made clear in Jesus:	Epheser 4:21 so ihr anders von ihm gehört habt und in ihm belehrt, wie in Jesu ein rechtschaffenes Wesen ist.
Ephesians 4:22 That you are to put away, in relation to your earlier way of life, the old man, which has become evil by love of deceit;	Epheser 4:22 So legt nun von euch ab nach dem vorigen Wandel den alten Menschen, der durch Lüste im Irrtum sich verderbt.
Ephesians 4:23 And be made new in the spirit of your mind,	Epheser 4:23 Erneuert euch aber im Geist eures Gemüts
Ephesians 4:24 And put on the new man, to which God has given life, in righteousness and a true and holy way of living.	Epheser 4:24 und ziehet den neuen Menschen an, der nach Gott geschaffen ist in rechtschaffener Gerechtigkeit und Heiligkeit.
Ephesians 4:25 And so, putting away false words, let everyone say what is true to his neighbour: for we are parts one of another.	Epheser 4:25 Darum leget die Lüge ab und redet die Wahrheit, ein jeglicher mit seinem Nächsten, sintemal wir untereinander Glieder sind.
Ephesians 4:26 Be angry without doing wrong; let not the sun go down on your wrath;	Epheser 4:26 Zürnet, und sündiget nicht; lasset die Sonne nicht über eurem Zorn untergehen.
Ephesians 4:27 And do not give way to the Evil One.	Epheser 4:27 Gebet auch nicht Raum dem Lästerer.
Ephesians 4:28 Let him who was a thief be so no longer, but let him do good work with his hands, so that he may have something to give to him who is in need.	Epheser 4:28 Wer gestohlen hat der stehle nicht mehr, sondern arbeite und schaffe mit den Händen etwas Gutes, auf daß er habe, zu geben dem Dürftigen.
Ephesians 4:29 Let no evil talk come out of your mouth, but only what is good for giving necessary teaching, and for grace to those who give ear.	Epheser 4:29 Lasset kein faul Geschwätz aus eurem Munde gehen, sondern was nützlich zur Besserung ist, wo es not tut, daß es holdselig sei zu hören.
Ephesians 4:30 And do not give grief to the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were marked for the day of salvation.	Epheser 4:30 Und betrübet nicht den heiligen Geist Gottes, mit dem ihr versiegelt seid auf den Tag der Erlösung.
Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitter, sharp and angry feeling, and noise, and evil words, be put away from you, with all unkind acts;	Epheser 4:31 Alle Bitterkeit und Grimm und Zorn und Geschrei und Lästerung sei ferne von euch samt aller Bosheit.
Ephesians 4:32 And be kind to one another, full of pity, having forgiveness for one another, even as God in Christ had forgiveness for you.	Epheser 4:32 Seid aber untereinander freundlich, herzlich und vergebet einer dem andern, gleichwie Gott euch auch vergeben hat in Christo.
