耶利米書 6
|
| Flee for safety, ye children of Benjamin, out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and raise up a signal on Beth-haccherem; for evil looketh forth from the north, and a great destruction. | 便 雅 憫 人 哪 、 你 們 要 逃 出 耶 路 撒 冷 、 在 提 哥 亞 吹 角 、 在 伯 哈 基 琳 立 號 旗 ． 因 為 有 災 禍 、 與 大 毀 滅 、 從 北 方 張 望 。 |
| The comely and delicate one, the daughter of Zion, will I cut off. | 那 秀 美 嬌 嫩 的 錫 安 女 子 、 我 必 剪 除 。 〔 女 子 就 是 指 民 的 意 思 〕 |
| Shepherds with their flocks shall come unto her; they shall pitch their tents against her round about; they shall feed every one in his place. | 牧 人 必 引 他 們 的 羊 群 到 他 那 裡 、 在 他 周 圍 支 搭 帳 棚 、 各 在 自 己 所 佔 之 地 、 使 羊 喫 草 。 |
| Prepare ye war against her; arise, and let us go up at noon. Woe unto us! for the day declineth, for the shadows of the evening are stretched out. | 你 們 要 準 備 攻 擊 他 、 起 來 罷 、 我 們 可 以 趁 午 時 上 去 。 哀 哉 、 日 已 漸 斜 、 晚 影 拖 長 了 。 |
| Arise, and let us go up by night, and let us destroy her palaces. | 起 來 罷 、 我 們 夜 間 上 去 、 毀 壞 他 的 宮 殿 。 |
| For thus hath Jehovah of hosts said, Hew ye down trees, and cast up a mound against Jerusalem: this is the city to be visited; she is wholly oppression in the midst of her. | 因 為 萬 軍 之 耶 和 華 如 此 說 、 你 們 要 砍 伐 樹 木 、 築 壘 攻 打 耶 路 撒 冷 ． 這 就 是 那 該 罰 的 城 、 其 中 盡 是 欺 壓 。 |
| As a well casteth forth its waters, so she casteth forth her wickedness: violence and destruction is heard in her; before me continually is sickness and wounds. | 井 怎 樣 湧 出 水 來 、 這 城 也 照 樣 湧 出 惡 來 ． 在 其 間 常 聽 見 有 強 暴 毀 滅 的 事 、 病 患 損 傷 也 常 在 我 面 前 。 |
| Be thou instructed, O Jerusalem, lest my soul be alienated from thee; lest I make thee a desolation, a land not inhabited. | 耶 路 撒 冷 阿 、 你 當 受 教 、 免 得 我 心 與 你 生 疏 、 免 得 我 使 你 荒 涼 、 成 為 無 人 居 住 之 地 。 |
| Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, They shall thoroughly glean the remnant of Israel as a vine: turn again thy hand as a grape-gatherer into the baskets. | 萬 軍 之 耶 和 華 曾 如 此 說 、 敵 人 必 擄 盡 以 色 列 剩 下 的 民 、 如 同 摘 淨 葡 萄 一 樣 ． 你 要 像 摘 葡 萄 的 人 摘 了 又 摘 、 回 手 放 在 筐 子 裡 。 |
| To whom shall I speak and testify, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of Jehovah is become unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it. | 現 在 我 可 以 向 誰 說 話 作 見 證 、 使 他 們 聽 呢 ． 他 們 的 耳 朵 未 受 割 禮 、 不 能 聽 見 ． 看 哪 、 耶 和 華 的 話 、 他 們 以 為 羞 辱 、 不 以 為 喜 悅 。 |
| Therefore I am full of the wrath of Jehovah; I am weary with holding in: pour it out upon the children in the street, and upon the assembly of young men together; for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days. | 因 此 我 被 耶 和 華 的 忿 怒 充 滿 、 難 以 含 忍 ． 我 要 傾 在 街 中 的 孩 童 、 和 聚 會 的 少 年 人 身 上 ． 連 夫 帶 妻 、 並 年 老 的 與 日 子 滿 足 的 、 都 必 被 擒 拿 。 |
| And their houses shall be turned unto others, their fields and their wives together; for I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, saith Jehovah. | 他 們 的 房 屋 、 田 地 、 和 妻 子 、 都 必 轉 歸 別 人 ． 我 要 伸 手 攻 擊 這 地 的 居 民 ． 這 是 耶 和 華 說 的 。 |
| For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely. | 因 為 他 們 從 最 小 的 到 至 大 的 、 都 一 味 的 貪 婪 ． 從 先 知 到 祭 司 、 都 行 事 虛 謊 。 |
| They have healed also the hurt of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace. | 他 們 輕 輕 忽 忽 的 醫 治 我 百 姓 的 損 傷 、 說 、 平 安 了 、 平 安 了 ． 其 實 沒 有 平 安 。 |
| Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall; at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith Jehovah. | 他 們 行 可 憎 的 事 、 知 道 慚 愧 麼 ． 不 然 、 他 們 毫 不 慚 愧 、 也 不 知 羞 恥 ． 因 此 、 他 們 必 在 仆 倒 的 人 中 仆 倒 ． 我 向 他 們 討 罪 的 時 候 、 他 們 必 致 跌 倒 ． 這 是 耶 和 華 說 的 。 |
| Thus saith Jehovah, Stand ye in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way; and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls: but they said, We will not walk [therein]. | 耶 和 華 如 此 說 、 你 們 當 站 在 路 上 察 看 、 訪 問 古 道 、 那 是 善 道 、 便 行 在 其 間 ． 這 樣 、 你 們 心 裡 必 得 安 息 ． 他 們 卻 說 、 我 們 不 行 在 其 間 。 |
| And I set watchmen over you, [saying], Hearken to the sound of the trumpet; but they said, We will not hearken. | 我 設 立 守 望 的 人 照 管 你 們 、 說 、 要 聽 角 聲 ． 他 們 卻 說 、 我 們 不 聽 。 |
| Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them. | 列 國 阿 、 因 此 你 們 當 聽 ． 會 眾 阿 、 要 知 道 他 們 必 遭 遇 的 事 。 |
| Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words; and as for my law, they have rejected it. | 地 阿 、 當 聽 我 必 使 災 禍 臨 到 這 百 姓 、 就 是 他 們 意 念 所 結 的 果 子 、 因 為 他 們 不 聽 從 我 的 言 語 ． 至 於 我 的 訓 誨 、 〔 或 作 律 法 〕 他 們 也 厭 棄 了 。 |
| To what purpose cometh there to me frankincense from Sheba, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt-offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices pleasing unto me. | 從 示 巴 出 的 乳 香 、 從 遠 方 出 的 菖 蒲 、 〔 或 作 甘 蔗 〕 奉 來 給 我 有 何 益 呢 ． 你 們 的 燔 祭 不 蒙 悅 納 、 你 們 的 平 安 祭 我 也 不 喜 悅 。 |
| Therefore thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will lay stumbling-blocks before this people; and the fathers and the sons together shall stumble against them; the neighbor and his friend shall perish. | 所 以 耶 和 華 如 此 說 、 我 要 將 絆 腳 石 放 在 這 百 姓 前 面 ． 父 親 和 兒 子 、 要 一 同 跌 在 其 上 ． 鄰 舍 與 朋 友 、 也 都 滅 亡 。 |
| Thus saith Jehovah, Behold, a people cometh from the north country; and a great nation shall be stirred up from the uttermost parts of the earth. | 耶 和 華 如 此 說 、 看 哪 、 有 一 種 民 、 從 北 方 而 來 ． 並 有 一 大 國 被 激 動 、 從 地 極 來 到 。 |
| They lay hold on bow and spear; they are cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roareth like the sea, and they ride upon horses, every one set in array, as a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Zion. | 他 們 拿 弓 和 槍 ． 性 情 殘 忍 、 不 施 憐 憫 ． 他 們 的 聲 音 、 像 海 浪 匉 訇 ． 錫 安 城 阿 、 〔 城 原 文 作 女 子 〕 他 們 騎 馬 、 都 擺 隊 伍 、 如 上 戰 場 的 人 要 攻 擊 你 。 |
| We have heard the report thereof; our hands wax feeble: anguish hath taken hold of us, [and] pangs as of a woman in travail. | 我 們 聽 見 他 們 的 風 聲 、 手 就 發 軟 ． 痛 苦 將 我 們 抓 住 、 疼 痛 彷 彿 產 難 的 婦 人 。 |
| Go not forth into the field, nor walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy, [and] terror, are on every side. | 你 們 不 要 往 田 野 去 、 也 不 要 行 在 路 上 ． 因 四 圍 有 仇 敵 的 刀 劍 、 和 驚 嚇 。 |
| O daughter of my people, gird thee with sackcloth, and wallow thyself in ashes: make thee mourning, as for an only son, most bitter lamentation; for the destroyer shall suddenly come upon us. | 我 民 哪 、 〔 民 原 文 作 民 女 〕 應 當 腰 束 麻 布 、 輥 在 灰 中 ． 你 要 悲 傷 、 如 喪 獨 生 子 痛 痛 哭 號 、 因 為 滅 命 的 要 忽 然 臨 到 我 們 。 |
| I have made thee a trier [and] a fortress among my people; that thou mayest know and try their way. | 我 使 你 在 我 民 中 為 高 臺 、 為 保 障 、 〔 高 臺 作 試 驗 人 的 〕 使 你 知 道 試 驗 他 們 的 行 動 。 |
| They are all grievous revolters, going about with slanders; they are brass and iron: they all of them deal corruptly. | 他 們 都 是 極 悖 逆 的 、 往 來 讒 謗 人 ． 他 們 是 銅 是 鐵 、 都 行 壞 事 。 |
| The bellows blow fiercely; the lead is consumed of the fire: in vain do they go on refining; for the wicked are not plucked away. | 風 箱 吹 火 ． 鉛 被 燒 毀 ． 他 們 煉 而 又 煉 、 終 是 徒 然 ． 因 為 惡 劣 的 還 未 除 掉 。 |
| Refuse silver shall men them, because Jehovah hath rejected them. | 人 必 稱 他 們 為 被 棄 的 銀 渣 、 因 為 耶 和 華 已 經 棄 掉 他 們 。 |
