Psalms 88:1 A Song. A Psalm. Of the sons of Korah. To the chief music-maker; put to Mahalath Leannoth. Maschil. Of Heman the Ezrahite.O Lord, God of my salvation, I have been crying to you for help by day and by night:	Psaumes 88:1 Cantique. Psaume des fils de Koré. Au chef des chantres. Pour chanter sur la flûte. Cantique d`Héman, l`Ézrachite. Éternel, Dieu de mon salut! Je crie jour et nuit devant toi.
Psalms 88:2 Let my prayer come before you; give ear to my cry:	Psaumes 88:2 Que ma prière parvienne en ta présence! Prête l`oreille à mes supplications!
Psalms 88:3 For my soul is full of evils, and my life has come near to the underworld.	Psaumes 88:3 Car mon âme est rassasiée de maux, Et ma vie s`approche du séjour des morts.
Psalms 88:4 I am numbered among those who go down into the earth; I have become like a man for whom there is no help:	Psaumes 88:4 Je suis mis au rang de ceux qui descendent dans la fosse, Je suis comme un homme qui n`a plus de force.
Psalms 88:5 My soul is among the dead, like those in the underworld, to whom you give no more thought; for they are cut off from your care.	Psaumes 88:5 Je suis étendu parmi les morts, Semblable à ceux qui sont tués et couchés dans le sépulcre, A ceux dont tu n`as plus le souvenir, Et qui sont séparés de ta main.
Psalms 88:6 You have put me in the lowest deep, even in dark places.	Psaumes 88:6 Tu m`as jeté dans une fosse profonde, Dans les ténèbres, dans les abîmes.
Psalms 88:7 The weight of your wrath is crushing me, all your waves have overcome me. (Selah.)	Psaumes 88:7 Ta fureur s`appesantit sur moi, Et tu m`accables de tous tes flots. Pause.
Psalms 88:8 You have sent my friends far away from me; you have made me a disgusting thing in their eyes: I am shut up, and not able to come out.	Psaumes 88:8 Tu as éloigné de moi mes amis, Tu m`as rendu pour eux un objet d`horreur; Je suis enfermé et je ne puis sortir.
Psalms 88:9 My eyes are wasting away because of my trouble: Lord, my cry has gone up to you every day, my hands are stretched out to you.	Psaumes 88:9 Mes yeux se consument dans la souffrance; Je t`invoque tous les jours, ô Éternel! J`étends vers toi les mains.
Psalms 88:10 Will you do works of wonder for the dead? will the shades come back to give you praise? (Selah.)	Psaumes 88:10 Est-ce pour les morts que tu fais des miracles? Les morts se lèvent-ils pour te louer? Pause.
Psalms 88:11 Will the story of your mercy be given in the house of the dead? will news of your faith come to the place of destruction?	Psaumes 88:11 Parle-t-on de ta bonté dans le sépulcre, De ta fidélité dans l`abîme?
Psalms 88:12 May there be knowledge of your wonders in the dark? or of your righteousness where memory is dead?	Psaumes 88:12 Tes prodiges sont-ils connus dans les ténèbres, Et ta justice dans la terre de l`oubli?
Psalms 88:13 But to you did I send up my cry, O Lord; in the morning my prayer came before you.	Psaumes 88:13 O Éternel! j`implore ton secours, Et le matin ma prière s`élève à toi.
Psalms 88:14 Lord, why have you sent away my soul? why is your face covered from me?	Psaumes 88:14 Pourquoi, Éternel, repousses-tu mon âme? Pourquoi me caches-tu ta face?
Psalms 88:15 I have been troubled and in fear of death from the time when I was young; your wrath is hard on me, and I have no strength.	Psaumes 88:15 Je suis malheureux et moribond dès ma jeunesse, Je suis chargé de tes terreurs, je suis troublé.
Psalms 88:16 The heat of your wrath has gone over me; I am broken by your cruel punishments.	Psaumes 88:16 Tes fureurs passent sur moi, Tes terreurs m`anéantissent;
Psalms 88:17 They are round me all the day like water; they have made a circle about me.	Psaumes 88:17 Elles m`environnent tout le jour comme des eaux, Elles m`enveloppent toutes à la fois.
Psalms 88:18 You have sent my friends and lovers far from me; I am gone from the memory of those who are dear to me.	Psaumes 88:18 Tu as éloigné de moi amis et compagnons; Mes intimes ont disparu.
