Psalms 51:1 To the chief music-maker. A Psalm. Of David. When Nathan the prophet came to him, after he had gone in to Bath-sheba.Have pity on me, O God, in your mercy; out of a full heart, take away my sin.	Psaumes 51:1 Au chef des chantres. Psaume de David. Lorsque Nathan, le prophète, vint à lui, après que David fut allé vers Bath Schéba. O Dieu! aie pitié de moi dans ta bonté; Selon ta grande miséricorde, efface mes transgressions;
Psalms 51:2 Let all my wrongdoing be washed away, and make me clean from evil.	Psaumes 51:2 Lave-moi complètement de mon iniquité, Et purifie-moi de mon péché.
Psalms 51:3 For I am conscious of my error; my sin is ever before me.	Psaumes 51:3 Car je reconnais mes transgressions, Et mon péché est constamment devant moi.
Psalms 51:4 Against you, you only, have I done wrong, working that which is evil in your eyes; so that your words may be seen to be right, and you may be clear when you are judging.	Psaumes 51:4 J`ai péché contre toi seul, Et j`ai fait ce qui est mal à tes yeux, En sorte que tu seras juste dans ta sentence, Sans reproche dans ton jugement.
Psalms 51:5 Truly, I was formed in evil, and in sin did my mother give me birth.	Psaumes 51:5 Voici, je suis né dans l`iniquité, Et ma mère m`a conçu dans le péché.
Psalms 51:6 Your desire is for what is true in the inner parts: in the secrets of my soul you will give me knowledge of wisdom.	Psaumes 51:6 Mais tu veux que la vérité soit au fond du coeur: Fais donc pénétrer la sagesse au dedans de moi!
Psalms 51:7 Make me free from sin with hyssop: let me be washed whiter than snow.	Psaumes 51:7 Purifie-moi avec l`hysope, et je serai pur; Lave-moi, et je serai plus blanc que la neige.
Psalms 51:8 Make me full of joy and rapture; so that the bones which have been broken may be glad.	Psaumes 51:8 Annonce-moi l`allégresse et la joie, Et les os que tu as brisés se réjouiront.
Psalms 51:9 Let your face be turned from my wrongdoing, and take away all my sins.	Psaumes 51:9 Détourne ton regard de mes péchés, Efface toutes mes iniquités.
Psalms 51:10 Make a clean heart in me, O God; give me a right spirit again.	Psaumes 51:10 O Dieu! crée en moi un coeur pur, Renouvelle en moi un esprit bien disposé.
Psalms 51:11 Do not put me away from before you, or take your holy spirit from me.	Psaumes 51:11 Ne me rejette pas loin de ta face, Ne me retire pas ton esprit saint.
Psalms 51:12 Give me back the joy of your salvation; let a free spirit be my support.	Psaumes 51:12 Rends-moi la joie de ton salut, Et qu`un esprit de bonne volonté me soutienne!
Psalms 51:13 Then will I make your ways clear to wrongdoers; and sinners will be turned to you.	Psaumes 51:13 J`enseignerai tes voies à ceux qui les transgressent, Et les pécheurs reviendront à toi.
Psalms 51:14 Be my saviour from violent death, O God, the God of my salvation; and my tongue will give praise to your righteousness.	Psaumes 51:14 O Dieu, Dieu de mon salut! délivre-moi du sang versé, Et ma langue célébrera ta miséricorde.
Psalms 51:15 O Lord, let my lips be open, so that my mouth may make clear your praise.	Psaumes 51:15 Seigneur! ouvre mes lèvres, Et ma bouche publiera ta louange.
Psalms 51:16 You have no desire for an offering or I would give it; you have no delight in burned offerings.	Psaumes 51:16 Si tu eusses voulu des sacrifices, je t`en aurais offert; Mais tu ne prends point plaisir aux holocaustes.
Psalms 51:17 The offerings of God are a broken spirit; a broken and sorrowing heart, O God, you will not put from you.	Psaumes 51:17 Les sacrifices qui sont agréables à Dieu, c`est un esprit brisé: O Dieu! tu ne dédaignes pas un coeur brisé et contrit.
Psalms 51:18 Do good to Zion in your good pleasure, building up the walls of Jerusalem.	Psaumes 51:18 Répands par ta grâce tes bienfaits sur Sion, Bâtis les murs de Jérusalem!
Psalms 51:19 Then you will have delight in the offerings of righteousness, in burned offerings and offerings of beasts; then they will make offerings of oxen on your altar.	Psaumes 51:19 Alors tu agréeras des sacrifices de justice, Des holocaustes et des victimes tout entières; Alors on offrira des taureaux sur ton autel.
