Psalmen 104:1 Lobe den HERRN, meine Seele! HERR, mein Gott, du bist sehr herrlich; du bist schön und prächtig geschmückt.	Psalms 104:1 Give praise to the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, you are very great; you are robed with honour and power.
Psalmen 104:2 Licht ist dein Kleid, das du anhast; du breitest aus den Himmel wie einen Teppich;	Psalms 104:2 You are clothed with light as with a robe; stretching out the heavens like a curtain:
Psalmen 104:3 Du wölbest es oben mit Wasser; du fährst auf den Wolken wie auf einem Wagen und gehst auf den Fittichen des Windes;	Psalms 104:3 The arch of your house is based on the waters; you make the clouds your carriage; you go on the wings of the wind:
Psalmen 104:4 der du machst Winde zu deinen Engeln und zu deinen Dienern Feuerflammen;	Psalms 104:4 He makes winds his angels, and flames of fire his servants.
Psalmen 104:5 der du das Erdreich gegründet hast auf seinem Boden, daß es bleibt immer und ewiglich.	Psalms 104:5 He has made the earth strong on its bases, so that it may not be moved for ever and ever;
Psalmen 104:6 Mit der Tiefe deckst du es wie mit einem Kleide, und Wasser standen über den Bergen.	Psalms 104:6 Covering it with the sea as with a robe: the waters were high over the mountains;
Psalmen 104:7 Aber von deinem Schelten flohen sie, von deinem Donner fuhren sie dahin.	Psalms 104:7 At the voice of your word they went in flight; at the sound of your thunder they went away in fear;
Psalmen 104:8 Die Berge gingen hoch hervor, und die Täler setzten sich herunter zum Ort, den du ihnen gegründet hast.	Psalms 104:8 The mountains came up and the valleys went down into the place which you had made ready for them.
Psalmen 104:9 Du hast eine Grenze gesetzt, darüber kommen sie nicht und dürfen nicht wiederum das Erdreich bedecken.	Psalms 104:9 You made a limit over which they might not go, so that the earth would never again be covered by them.
Psalmen 104:10 Du läßt Brunnen quellen in den Gründen, daß die Wasser zwischen den Bergen hinfließen,	Psalms 104:10 You sent the springs into the valleys; they are flowing between the hills.
Psalmen 104:11 daß alle Tiere auf dem Felde trinken und das Wild seinen Durst lösche.	Psalms 104:11 They give drink to every beast of the field; the mountain asses come to them for water.
Psalmen 104:12 An denselben sitzen die Vögel des Himmels und singen unter den Zweigen.	Psalms 104:12 The birds of the air have their resting-places by them, and make their song among the branches.
Psalmen 104:13 Du feuchtest die Berge von obenher; du machst das Land voll Früchte, die du schaffest;	Psalms 104:13 He sends down rain from his store-houses on the hills: the earth is full of the fruit of his works.
Psalmen 104:14 du lässest Gras wachsen für das Vieh und Saat zu Nutz den Menschen, daß du Brot aus der Erde bringest,	Psalms 104:14 He makes the grass come up for the cattle, and plants for the use of man; so that bread may come out of the earth;
Psalmen 104:15 und daß der Wein erfreue des Menschen Herz, daß seine Gestalt schön werde vom Öl und das Brot des Menschen Herz stärke;	Psalms 104:15 And wine to make glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face shining, and bread giving strength to his heart.
Psalmen 104:16 daß die Bäume des HERRN voll Saft stehen, die Zedern Libanons, die er gepflanzt hat.	Psalms 104:16 The trees of the Lord are full of growth, the cedars of Lebanon of his planting;
Psalmen 104:17 Daselbst nisten die Vögel, und die Reiher wohnen auf den Tannen.	Psalms 104:17 Where the birds have their resting-places; as for the stork, the tall trees are her house.
Psalmen 104:18 Die hohen Berge sind der Gemsen Zuflucht, und die Steinklüfte der Kaninchen.	Psalms 104:18 The high hills are a safe place for the mountain goats, and the rocks for the small beasts.
Psalmen 104:19 Du hast den Mond gemacht, das Jahr darnach zu teilen; die Sonne weiß ihren Niedergang.	Psalms 104:19 He made the moon for a sign of the divisions of the year; teaching the sun the time of its going down.
Psalmen 104:20 Du machst Finsternis, daß es Nacht wird; da regen sich alle wilden Tiere,	Psalms 104:20 When you make it dark, it is night, when all the beasts of the woods come quietly out of their secret places.
Psalmen 104:21 die jungen Löwen, die da brüllen nach dem Raub und ihre Speise suchen von Gott.	Psalms 104:21 The young lions go thundering after their food; searching for their meat from God.
Psalmen 104:22 Wenn aber die Sonne aufgeht, heben sie sich davon und legen sich in ihre Höhlen.	Psalms 104:22 The sun comes up, and they come together, and go back to their secret places to take their rest.
Psalmen 104:23 So geht dann der Mensch aus an seine Arbeit und an sein Ackerwerk bis an den Abend.	Psalms 104:23 Man goes out to his work, and to his business, till the evening.
Psalmen 104:24 HERR, wie sind deine Werke so groß und viel! Du hast sie alle weislich geordnet, und die Erde ist voll deiner Güter.	Psalms 104:24 O Lord, how great is the number of your works! in wisdom you have made them all; the earth is full of the things you have made.
Psalmen 104:25 Das Meer, das so groß und weit ist, da wimmelt's ohne Zahl, große und kleine Tiere.	Psalms 104:25 There is the great, wide sea, where there are living things, great and small, more than may be numbered.
Psalmen 104:26 Daselbst gehen die Schiffe; da sind Walfische, die du gemacht hast, daß sie darin spielen.	Psalms 104:26 There go the ships; there is that great beast, which you have made as a plaything.
Psalmen 104:27 Es wartet alles auf dich, daß du ihnen Speise gebest zu seiner Zeit.	Psalms 104:27 All of them are waiting for you, to give them their food in its time.
Psalmen 104:28 Wenn du ihnen gibst, so sammeln sie; wenn du deine Hand auftust, so werden sie mit Gut gesättigt.	Psalms 104:28 They take what you give them; they are full of the good things which come from your open hand.
Psalmen 104:29 Verbirgst du dein Angesicht, so erschrecken sie; du nimmst weg ihren Odem, so vergehen sie und werden wieder zu Staub.	Psalms 104:29 If your face is veiled, they are troubled; when you take away their breath, they come to an end, and go back to the dust.
Psalmen 104:30 Du lässest aus deinen Odem, so werden sie geschaffen, und du erneuest die Gestalt der Erde.	Psalms 104:30 If you send out your spirit, they are given life; you make new the face of the earth.
Psalmen 104:31 Die Ehre des HERRN ist ewig; der HERR hat Wohlgefallen an seinen Werken.	Psalms 104:31 Let the glory of the Lord be for ever; let the Lord have joy in his works:
Psalmen 104:32 Er schaut die Erde an, so bebt sie; er rührt die Berge an, so rauchen sie.	Psalms 104:32 At whose look the earth is shaking; at whose touch the mountains send out smoke.
Psalmen 104:33 Ich will dem HERRN singen mein Leben lang und meinen Gott loben, solange ich bin.	Psalms 104:33 I will make songs to the Lord all my life; I will make melody to my God while I have my being.
Psalmen 104:34 Meine Rede müsse ihm wohl gefallen. Ich freue mich des HERRN.	Psalms 104:34 Let my thoughts be sweet to him: I will be glad in the Lord.
Psalmen 104:35 Der Sünder müsse ein Ende werden auf Erden, und die Gottlosen nicht mehr sein. Lobe den HERRN, meine Seele! Halleluja!	Psalms 104:35 Let sinners be cut off from the earth, and let all evil-doers come to an end. Give praise to the Lord, O my soul. Give praise to the Lord.
