Psalmen 147:1 Lobet den HERR! denn unsern Gott loben, das ist ein köstlich Ding; solch Lob ist lieblich und schön.	Psalms 147:1 Give praise to the Lord; for it is good to make melody to our God; praise is pleasing and beautiful.
Psalmen 147:2 Der HERR baut Jerusalem und bringt zusammen die Verjagten Israels.	Psalms 147:2 The Lord is building up Jerusalem; he makes all the outlaws of Israel come together.
Psalmen 147:3 Er heilt, die zerbrochnes Herzens sind, und verbindet ihre Schmerzen.	Psalms 147:3 He makes the broken-hearted well, and puts oil on their wounds.
Psalmen 147:4 Er zählt die Sterne und nennt sie alle mit Namen.	Psalms 147:4 He sees the number of the stars; he gives them all their names.
Psalmen 147:5 Der HERR ist groß und von großer Kraft; und ist unbegreiflich, wie er regiert.	Psalms 147:5 Great is our Lord, and great his power; there is no limit to his wisdom.
Psalmen 147:6 Der Herr richtet auf die Elenden und stößt die Gottlosen zu Boden.	Psalms 147:6 The Lord gives help to the poor in spirit; but he sends sinners down in shame.
Psalmen 147:7 Singet umeinander dem HERRN mit Dank und lobet unsern Gott mit Harfen,	Psalms 147:7 Make songs of praise to the Lord; make melody to our God with instruments of music.
Psalmen 147:8 der den Himmel mit Wolken verdeckt und gibt Regen auf Erden; der Gras auf Bergen wachsen läßt;	Psalms 147:8 By his hand the heaven is covered with clouds and rain is stored up for the earth; he makes the grass tall on the mountains.
Psalmen 147:9 der dem Vieh sein Futter gibt, den jungen Raben, die ihn anrufen.	Psalms 147:9 He gives food to every beast, and to the young ravens in answer to their cry.
Psalmen 147:10 Er hat nicht Lust an der Stärke des Rosses noch Gefallen an eines Mannes Schenkeln.	Psalms 147:10 He has no delight in the strength of a horse; he takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.
Psalmen 147:11 Der HERR hat Gefallen an denen, die ihn fürchten, die auf seine Güte hoffen.	Psalms 147:11 The Lord takes pleasure in his worshippers, and in those whose hope is in his mercy.
Psalmen 147:12 Preise, Jerusalem, den HERRN; lobe Zion, deinen Gott!	Psalms 147:12 Give praise to the Lord, O Jerusalem; give praise to your God, O Zion.
Psalmen 147:13 Denn er macht fest die Riegel deiner Tore und segnet deine Kinder drinnen.	Psalms 147:13 He has made strong the iron bands of your doors; he has sent blessings on your children inside your walls.
Psalmen 147:14 Er schafft deinen Grenzen Frieden und sättigt dich mit dem besten Weizen.	Psalms 147:14 He gives peace in all your land, making your stores full of fat grain.
Psalmen 147:15 Er sendet seine Rede auf Erden; sein Wort läuft schnell.	Psalms 147:15 He sends out his orders to the earth; his word goes out quickly.
Psalmen 147:16 Er gibt Schnee wie Wolle, er streut Reif wie Asche.	Psalms 147:16 He gives snow like wool; he sends out ice-drops like dust.
Psalmen 147:17 Er wirft seine Schloßen wie Bissen; wer kann bleiben vor seinem Frost?	Psalms 147:17 He sends down ice like raindrops: water is made hard by his cold.
Psalmen 147:18 Er spricht, so zerschmilzt es; er läßt seinen Wind wehen, so taut es auf.	Psalms 147:18 At the outgoing of his word, the ice is turned to water; when he sends out his wind, there is a flowing of waters.
Psalmen 147:19 Er zeigt Jakob sein Wort, Israel seine Sitten und Rechte.	Psalms 147:19 He makes his word clear to Jacob, teaching Israel his laws and his decisions.
Psalmen 147:20 So tut er keinen Heiden, noch läßt er sie wissen seine Rechte. Halleluja!	Psalms 147:20 He has not done these things for any other nation: and as for his laws, they have no knowledge of them. Let the Lord be praised.
