Ezechiele 35:1 E la parola dell’Eterno mi fu rivolta in questi termini:	Ezekiel 35:1 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
Ezechiele 35:2 "Figliuol d’uomo, volgi la tua faccia verso il monte di Seir, e profetizza contro di esso,	Ezekiel 35:2 Son of man, let your face be turned to Mount Seir, and be a prophet against it,
Ezechiele 35:3 e digli: Così parla il Signore, l’Eterno: Eccomi a te, o monte di Seir! Io stenderò la mia mano contro di te, e ti renderò una solitudine, un deserto.	Ezekiel 35:3 And say to it, This is what the Lord has said: See, I am against you, O Mount Seir, and my hand will be stretched out against you, and I will make you a waste and a cause for wonder.
Ezechiele 35:4 Io ridurrò le tue città in rovine, tu diventerai una solitudine, e conoscerai che io sono l’Eterno.	Ezekiel 35:4 I will make your towns unpeopled and you will be a waste; and you will be certain that I am the Lord.
Ezechiele 35:5 Poiché tu hai avuto una inimicizia eterna e hai abbandonato i figliuoli d’Israele in balìa della spada nel giorno della loro calamità, nel giorno che l’iniquità era giunta al colmo,	Ezekiel 35:5 Because yours has been a hate without end, and you have given up the children of Israel to the power of the sword in the time of their trouble, in the time of the punishment of the end:
Ezechiele 35:6 com’è vero ch’io vivo, dice il Signore, l’Eterno, io ti metterò a sangue, e il sangue t’inseguirà; giacché non hai avuto in odio il sangue, il sangue t’inseguirà.	Ezekiel 35:6 For this cause, by my life, says the Lord, because you have been sinning through blood, blood will come after you.
Ezechiele 35:7 E ridurrò il monte di Seir in una solitudine, in un deserto, e ne sterminerò chi va e chi viene.	Ezekiel 35:7 And I will make Mount Seir a cause for wonder and a waste, cutting off from it all comings and goings.
Ezechiele 35:8 Io riempirò i suoi monti dei suoi uccisi; sopra i tuoi colli, nelle tue valli, in tutti i tuoi burroni cadranno gli uccisi dalla spada.	Ezekiel 35:8 I will make his mountains full of those who have been put to death; in your valleys and in all your water-streams men will be falling by the sword.
Ezechiele 35:9 Io ti ridurrò in una desolazione perpetua, e le tue città non saranno più abitate; e voi conoscerete che io sono l’Eterno.	Ezekiel 35:9 I will make you waste for ever, and your towns will be unpeopled: and you will be certain that I am the Lord.
Ezechiele 35:10 Siccome tu hai detto: Quelle due nazioni e que’ due paesi saranno miei, e noi ne prenderemo possesso (e l’Eterno era quivi!),	Ezekiel 35:10 Because you have said, The two nations and the two countries are to be mine, and we will take them for our heritage; though the Lord was there:
Ezechiele 35:11 com’è vero ch’io vivo, dice il Signore, l’Eterno, io agirò con l’ira e con la gelosia, che tu hai mostrate nel tuo odio contro di loro; e mi farò conoscere in mezzo a loro, quando ti giudicherò.	Ezekiel 35:11 For this cause, by my life, says the Lord, I will do to you as you have done in your wrath and in your envy, which you have made clear in your hate for them; and I will make clear to you who I am when you are judged by me.
Ezechiele 35:12 Tu conoscerai che io, l’Eterno, ho udito tutti gli oltraggi che hai proferiti contro i monti d’Israele, dicendo: Essi son desolati; son dati a noi, perché ne facciam nostra preda.	Ezekiel 35:12 And you will see that I the Lord have had knowledge of all the bitter things which you have said against the mountains of Israel, saying, They have been made waste, they are given to us to take for our heritage.
Ezechiele 35:13 Voi, con la vostra bocca, vi siete inorgogliti contro di me, e avete moltiplicato contro di me i vostri discorsi. Io l’ho udito!	Ezekiel 35:13 And you have made yourselves great against me with your mouths, increasing your words against me; and it has come to my ears.
Ezechiele 35:14 Così parla il Signore, l’Eterno: Quando tutta la terra si rallegrerà, io ti ridurrò in una desolazione.	Ezekiel 35:14 This is what the Lord has said: Because you were glad over my land when it was a waste, so will I do to you:
Ezechiele 35:15 Siccome tu ti sei rallegrato perché l’eredità della casa d’Israele era devastata, io farò lo stesso di te: tu diventerai una desolazione, o monte di Seir: tu, e Edom tutto quanto; e si conoscerà che io sono l’Eterno.	Ezekiel 35:15 You will become a waste, O Mount Seir, and all Edom, even all of it: and you will be certain that I am the Lord.
