Judges 10:1 Now after Abimelech, Tola, the son of Puah, the son of Dodo, a man of Issachar, became the saviour of Israel; he was living in Shamir in the hill-country of Ephraim.	Giudici 10:1 Or dopo Abimelec sorse, per liberare Israele, Thola, figliuolo di Puah, figliuolo di Dodo, uomo d’Issacar. Dimorava a Samir, nella contrada montuosa di Efraim;
Judges 10:2 He was judge over Israel for twenty-three years; and at his death his body was put to rest in the earth in Shamir.	Giudici 10:2 fu giudice d’Israele per ventitre anni; poi morì e fu sepolto a Samir.
Judges 10:3 And after him came Jair the Gileadite, who was judge over Israel for twenty-two years.	Giudici 10:3 Dopo di lui sorse Jair, il Galaadita, che fu giudice d’Israele per ventidue anni;
Judges 10:4 And he had thirty sons, who went on thirty young asses; and they had thirty towns in the land of Gilead, which are named Havvoth-Jair to this day.	Giudici 10:4 ebbe trenta figliuoli che cavalcavano trenta asinelli e aveano trenta città, che si chiamano anche oggi i borghi di Jair, e sono nel paese di Galaad.
Judges 10:5 And at the death of Jair his body was put to rest in the earth in Kamon.	Giudici 10:5 Poi Jair morì e fu sepolto a Kamon.
Judges 10:6 And again the children of Israel did evil in the eyes of the Lord, worshipping the Baals and Astartes, and the gods of Aram and the gods of Zidon and the gods of Moab and the gods of the children of Ammon and the gods of the Philistines; they gave up the Lord and were servants to him no longer.	Giudici 10:6 E i figliuoli d’Israele continuarono a fare ciò ch’è male agli occhi dell’Eterno e servirono agl’idoli di Baal e di Astarte, agli dèi della Siria, agli dèi di Sidon, agli dèi di Moab, agli dèi de’ figliuoli di Ammon e agli dèi de’ Filistei; abbandonaron l’Eterno e non gli serviron più.
Judges 10:7 And the wrath of the Lord was burning against Israel, and he gave them up into the hands of the Philistines and into the hands of the children of Ammon.	Giudici 10:7 L’ira dell’Eterno s’accese contro Israele, ed egli li diede nelle mani de’ Filistei e nelle mani de’ figliuoli di Ammon.
Judges 10:8 And that year the children of Israel were crushed under their yoke; for eighteen years all the children of Israel on the other side of Jordan, in the land of the Amorites which is in Gilead, were cruelly crushed down.	Giudici 10:8 E in quell’anno, questi angariarono ed oppressero i figliuoli d’Israele; per diciotto anni oppressero tutti i figliuoli d’Israele ch’erano di là dal Giordano, nel paese degli Amorei in Galaad.
Judges 10:9 And the children of Ammon went over Jordan, to make war against Judah and Benjamin and the house of Ephraim; and Israel was in great trouble.	Giudici 10:9 E i figliuoli di Ammon passarono il Giordano per combattere anche contro Giuda, contro Beniamino e contro la casa d’Efraim; e Israele fu in grande angustia.
Judges 10:10 Then the children of Israel, crying out to the Lord, said, Great is our sin against you, for we have given up our God and have been servants to the Baals.	Giudici 10:10 Allora i figliuoli d’Israele gridarono all’Eterno, dicendo: "Abbiam peccato contro di te, perché abbiamo abbandonato il nostro Dio, e abbiam servito agl’idoli Baal".
Judges 10:11 And the Lord said to the children of Israel, Were not the Egyptians and the Amorites and the children of Ammon and the Philistines	Giudici 10:11 E l’Eterno disse ai figliuoli d’Israele: "Non vi ho io liberati dagli Egiziani, dagli Amorei, dai figliuoli di Ammon e dai Filistei?
Judges 10:12 And the Zidonians and Amalek and Midian crushing you down, and in answer to your cry did I not give you salvation from their hands?	Giudici 10:12 Quando i Sidonii, gli Amalekiti e i Maoniti vi opprimevano e voi gridaste a me, non vi liberai io dalle loro mani?
Judges 10:13 But, for all this, you have given me up and have been servants to other gods: so I will be your saviour no longer.	Giudici 10:13 Eppure, m’avete abbandonato e avete servito ad altri dèi; perciò io non vi libererò più.
Judges 10:14 Go, send up your cry for help to the gods of your selection; let them be your saviours in the time of your trouble.	Giudici 10:14 Andate a gridare agli dèi che avete scelto; vi salvino essi nel tempo della vostra angoscia!"
Judges 10:15 And the children of Israel said to the Lord, We are sinners; do to us whatever seems good to you: only give us salvation this day.	Giudici 10:15 E i figliuoli d’Israele dissero all’Eterno: "Abbiamo peccato; facci tutto quello che a te piace; soltanto, te ne preghiamo, liberaci oggi!"
Judges 10:16 So they put away the strange gods from among them, and became the Lord's servants; and his soul was angry because of the sorrows of Israel.	Giudici 10:16 Allora tolsero di mezzo a loro gli dèi stranieri e servirono all’Eterno, che si accorò per l’afflizione d’Israele.
Judges 10:17 Then the children of Ammon came together and put their army in position in Gilead. And the children of Israel came together and put their army in position in Mizpah.	Giudici 10:17 I figliuoli di Ammon s’adunarono e si accamparono in Galaad, e i figliuoli d’Israele s’adunaron pure, e si accamparono a Mitspa.
Judges 10:18 And the people of Israel said to one another, Who will be the first to make an attack on the children of Ammon? We will make him head over all Gilead.	Giudici 10:18 Il popolo, i principi di Galaad, si dissero l’uno all’altro: "Chi sarà l’uomo che comincerà l’attacco contro i figliuoli di Ammon? Quegli sarà il capo di tutti gli abitanti di Galaad".
