Psalms 13

Psalms 13:1 ^
To the chief music-maker. A Psalm. Of David. Will you for ever put me out of your memory, O Lord? will your face for ever be turned away from me?
Psalms 13:1 ^
For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. How long, O Jehovah? wilt thou forget me for ever? How long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
Psalms 13:2 ^
How long is my soul to be in doubt, with sorrow in my heart all the day? how long will he who is against me be given power over me?
Psalms 13:2 ^
How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?
Psalms 13:3 ^
Let my voice come before you, and give me an answer, O Lord my God; let your light be shining on me, so that the sleep of death may not overtake me;
Psalms 13:3 ^
Consider [and] answer me, O Jehovah my God: Lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the [sleep of] death;
Psalms 13:4 ^
And he who is against me may not say, I have overcome him; and those who are troubling me may not be glad when I am moved.
Psalms 13:4 ^
Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; [Lest] mine adversaries rejoice when I am moved.
Psalms 13:5 ^
But I have had faith in your mercy; my heart will be glad in your salvation.
Psalms 13:5 ^
But I have trusted in thy lovingkindness; My heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
Psalms 13:6 ^
I will make a song to the Lord, because he has given me my reward.
Psalms 13:6 ^
I will sing unto Jehovah, Because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
