Hebrews 4:1 Let us fear therefore, lest haply, a promise being left of entering into his rest, any one of you should seem to have come short of it.	Hebreus 4:1 Portanto, tendo-nos sido deixada a promessa de entrarmos no seu descanso, temamos não haja algum de vós que pareça ter falhado.
Hebrews 4:2 For indeed we have had good tidings preached unto us, even as also they: but the word of hearing did not profit them, because it was not united by faith with them that heard.	Hebreus 4:2 Porque também a nós foram pregadas as boas novas, assim como a eles; mas a palavra da pregação nada lhes aproveitou, porquanto não chegou a ser unida com a fé, naqueles que a ouviram.
Hebrews 4:3 For we who have believed do enter into that rest; even as he hath said, As I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.	Hebreus 4:3 Porque nós, os que temos crido, é que entramos no descanso, tal como disse: Assim jurei na minha ira: Não entrarão no meu descanso; embora as suas obras estivessem acabadas desde a fundação do mundo;
Hebrews 4:4 For he hath said somewhere of the seventh [day] on this wise, And God rested on the seventh day from all his works;	Hebreus 4:4 pois em certo lugar disse ele assim do sétimo dia: E descansou Deus, no sétimo dia, de todas as suas obras;
Hebrews 4:5 and in this [place] again, They shall not enter into my rest.	Hebreus 4:5 e outra vez, neste lugar: Não entrarão no meu descanso.
Hebrews 4:6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some should enter thereinto, and they to whom the good tidings were before preached failed to enter in because of disobedience,	Hebreus 4:6 Visto, pois, restar que alguns entrem nele, e que aqueles a quem anteriormente foram pregadas as boas novas não entraram por causa da desobediência,
Hebrews 4:7 he again defineth a certain day, To-day, saying in David so long a time afterward (even as hath been said before), To-day if ye shall hear his voice, Harden not your hearts.	Hebreus 4:7 determina outra vez um certo dia, Hoje, dizendo por Davi, depois de tanto tempo, como antes fora dito: Hoje, se ouvirdes a sua voz, não endureçais os vossos corações.
Hebrews 4:8 For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day.	Hebreus 4:8 Porque, se Josué lhes houvesse dado descanso, não teria falado depois disso de outro dia.
Hebrews 4:9 There remaineth therefore a sabbath rest for the people of God.	Hebreus 4:9 Portanto resta ainda um repouso sabático para o povo de Deus.
Hebrews 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest hath himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.	Hebreus 4:10 Pois aquele que entrou no descanso de Deus, esse também descansou de suas obras, assim como Deus das suas.
Hebrews 4:11 Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, that no man fall after the same example of disobedience.	Hebreus 4:11 Ora, à vista disso, procuremos diligentemente entrar naquele descanso, para que ninguém caia no mesmo exemplo de desobediência.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.	Hebreus 4:12 Porque a palavra de Deus é viva e eficaz, e mais cortante do que qualquer espada de dois gumes, e penetra até a divisão de alma e espírito, e de juntas e medulas, e é apta para discernir os pensamentos e intenções do coração.
Hebrews 4:13 And there is no creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.	Hebreus 4:13 E não há criatura alguma encoberta diante dele; antes todas as coisas estão nuas e patentes aos olhos daquele a quem havemos de prestar contas.
Hebrews 4:14 Having then a great high priest, who hath passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.	Hebreus 4:14 Tendo, portanto, um grande sumo sacerdote, Jesus, Filho de Deus, que penetrou os céus, retenhamos firmemente a nossa confissão.
Hebrews 4:15 For we have not a high priest that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but one that hath been in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin.	Hebreus 4:15 Porque não temos um sumo sacerdote que não possa compadecer- se das nossas fraquezas; porém um que, como nós, em tudo foi tentado, mas sem pecado.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore draw near with boldness unto the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace to help [us] in time of need.	Hebreus 4:16 Cheguemo-nos, pois, confiadamente ao trono da graça, para que recebamos misericórdia e achemos graça, a fim de sermos socorridos no momento oportuno.
