Ecclesiastes 5:1 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God; for to draw nigh to hear is better than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they know not that they do evil.	Ecclesiaste 5:1 Bada ai tuoi passi quando vai alla casa di Dio, e appressati per ascoltare, anziché per offrire il sacrifizio degli stolti, i quali non sanno neppure che fanno male.
Ecclesiastes 5:2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thy heart be hasty to utter anything before God; for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.	Ecclesiaste 5:2 Non esser precipitoso nel parlare, e il tuo cuore non s’affretti a proferir verbo davanti a Dio; perché Dio è in cielo e tu sei sulla terra; le tue parole sian dunque poche;
Ecclesiastes 5:3 For a dream cometh with a multitude of business, and a fool's voice with a multitude of words.	Ecclesiaste 5:3 poiché colla moltitudine delle occupazioni vengono i sogni, e colla moltitudine delle parole, i ragionamenti insensati.
Ecclesiastes 5:4 When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou vowest.	Ecclesiaste 5:4 Quand’hai fatto un voto a Dio, non indugiare ad adempierlo; poich’egli non si compiace degli stolti; adempi il voto che hai fatto.
Ecclesiastes 5:5 Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.	Ecclesiaste 5:5 Meglio è per te non far voti, che farne e poi non adempierli.
Ecclesiastes 5:6 Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that is was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thy hands?	Ecclesiaste 5:6 Non permettere alla tua bocca di render colpevole la tua persona; e non dire davanti al messaggero di Dio: "E’ stato uno sbaglio." Perché Iddio s’adirerebbe egli per le tue parole, e distruggerebbe l’opera delle tue mani?
Ecclesiastes 5:7 For in the multitude of dreams there are vanities, and in many words: but fear thou God.	Ecclesiaste 5:7 Poiché, se vi son delle vanità nella moltitudine de’ sogni, ve ne sono anche nella moltitudine delle parole; perciò temi Iddio!
Ecclesiastes 5:8 If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and the violent taking away of justice and righteousness in a province, marvel not at the matter: for one higher than the high regardeth; and there are higher than they.	Ecclesiaste 5:8 Se vedi nella provincia l’oppressione del povero e la violazione del diritto e della giustizia, non te ne maravigliare; poiché sopra un uomo in alto veglia uno che sta più in alto e sovr’essi, sta un Altissimo.
Ecclesiastes 5:9 Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king [himself] is served by the field.	Ecclesiaste 5:9 Ma vantaggioso per un paese è, per ogni rispetto, un re, che si faccia servo de’ campi.
Ecclesiastes 5:10 He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance, with increase: this also is vanity.	Ecclesiaste 5:10 Chi ama l’argento non è saziato con l’argento; e chi ama le ricchezze non ne trae profitto di sorta. Anche questo è vanità.
Ecclesiastes 5:11 When goods increase, they are increased that eat them; and what advantage is there to the owner thereof, save the beholding [of them] with his eyes?	Ecclesiaste 5:11 Quando abbondano i beni, abbondano anche quei che li mangiano; e che pro ne viene ai possessori, se non di veder quei beni coi loro occhi?
Ecclesiastes 5:12 The sleep of a laboring man is sweet, whether he eat little or much; but the fulness of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.	Ecclesiaste 5:12 Dolce è il sonno del lavoratore, abbia egli poco o molto da mangiare; ma la sazietà del ricco non lo lascia dormire.
Ecclesiastes 5:13 There is a grievous evil which I have seen under the sun, [namely], riches kept by the owner thereof to his hurt:	Ecclesiaste 5:13 V’è un male grave ch’io ho visto sotto il sole; delle ricchezze conservate dal loro possessore, per sua sventura.
Ecclesiastes 5:14 and those riches perish by evil adventure; and if he hath begotten a son, there is nothing in his hand.	Ecclesiaste 5:14 Queste ricchezze vanno perdute per qualche avvenimento funesto; e se ha generato un figliuolo, questi resta con nulla in mano.
Ecclesiastes 5:15 As he came forth from his mother's womb, naked shall he go again as he came, and shall take nothing for his labor, which he may carry away in his hand.	Ecclesiaste 5:15 Uscito ignudo dal seno di sua madre, quel possessore se ne va com’era venuto; e di tutta la sua fatica non può prender nulla da portar seco in mano.
Ecclesiastes 5:16 And this also is a grievous evil, that in all points as he came, so shall he go: and what profit hath he that he laboreth for the wind?	Ecclesiaste 5:16 Anche questo è un male grave: ch’ei se ne vada tal e quale era venuto; e qual profitto gli viene dall’aver faticato per il vento?
Ecclesiastes 5:17 All his days also he eateth in darkness, and he is sore vexed, and hath sickness and wrath.	Ecclesiaste 5:17 E per di più, durante tutta la vita egli mangia nelle tenebre, e ha molti fastidi, malanni e crucci.
Ecclesiastes 5:18 Behold, that which I have seen to be good and to be comely is for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy good in all his labor, wherein he laboreth under the sun, all the days of his life which God hath given him: for this is his portion.	Ecclesiaste 5:18 Ecco quello che ho veduto: buona e bella cosa è per l’uomo mangiare, bere, godere del benessere in mezzo a tutta la fatica ch’ei dura sotto il sole, tutti i giorni di vita che Dio gli ha dati; poiché questa è la sua parte.
Ecclesiastes 5:19 Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor-this is the gift of God.	Ecclesiaste 5:19 E ancora se Dio ha dato a un uomo delle ricchezze e dei tesori, e gli ha dato potere di goderne, di prenderne la sua parte e di gioire della sua fatica, è questo un dono di Dio;
Ecclesiastes 5:20 For he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answereth [him] in the joy of his heart.	Ecclesiaste 5:20 poiché un tal uomo non si ricorderà troppo dei giorni della sua vita, giacché Dio gli concede gioia nel cuore.
