Luc 10

Luke 10:1 ^
Now after these things, the Lord made selection of seventy others and sent them before him, two together, into every town and place where he himself was about to come.
Luc 10:1 ^
Après cela, le Seigneur désigna encore soixante-dix autres disciples, et il les envoya deux à deux devant lui dans toutes les villes et dans tous les lieux où lui-même devait aller.
Luke 10:2 ^
And he said to them, There is much grain ready to be cut, but not enough workers: so make prayer to the Lord of the grain-fields that he will send workers to get in the grain.
Luc 10:2 ^
Il leur dit: La moisson est grande, mais il y a peu d`ouvriers. Priez donc le maître de la moisson d`envoyer des ouvriers dans sa moisson.
Luke 10:3 ^
Go on your way: see, I send you out like lambs among wolves.
Luc 10:3 ^
Partez; voici, je vous envoie comme des agneaux au milieu des loups.
Luke 10:4 ^
Take no bag for money or for food, and no shoes; say no word to any man on the way.
Luc 10:4 ^
Ne portez ni bourse, ni sac, ni souliers, et ne saluez personne en chemin.
Luke 10:5 ^
And whenever you go into a house, first say, Peace be to this house.
Luc 10:5 ^
Dans quelque maison que vous entriez, dites d`abord: Que la paix soit sur cette maison!
Luke 10:6 ^
And if a son of peace is there, your peace will be with him: but if not, it will come back to you again.
Luc 10:6 ^
Et s`il se trouve là un enfant de paix, votre paix reposera sur lui; sinon, elle reviendra à vous.
Luke 10:7 ^
And keep in that same house, taking what food and drink they give you: for the worker has a right to his reward. Do not go from house to house.
Luc 10:7 ^
Demeurez dans cette maison-là, mangeant et buvant ce qu`on vous donnera; car l`ouvrier mérite son salaire. N`allez pas de maison en maison.
Luke 10:8 ^
And into whatever town you go, if they take you in, take whatever food is given to you:
Luc 10:8 ^
Dans quelque ville que vous entriez, et où l`on vous recevra, mangez ce qui vous sera présenté,
Luke 10:9 ^
And make well those in it who are ill and say to them, The kingdom of God is near to you.
Luc 10:9 ^
guérissez les malades qui s`y trouveront, et dites-leur: Le royaume de Dieu s`est approché de vous.
Luke 10:10 ^
But if you go into a town where they will not have you, go out into the streets of it and say,
Luc 10:10 ^
Mais dans quelque ville que vous entriez, et où l`on ne vous recevra pas, allez dans ses rues, et dites:
Luke 10:11 ^
Even the dust of your town, which is on our feet, we put off as a witness against you; but be certain of this, that the kingdom of God is near.
Luc 10:11 ^
Nous secouons contre vous la poussière même de votre ville qui s`est attachée à nos pieds; sachez cependant que le royaume de Dieu s`est approché.
Luke 10:12 ^
I say to you, It will be better in that day for Sodom than for that town.
Luc 10:12 ^
Je vous dis qu`en ce jour Sodome sera traitée moins rigoureusement que cette ville-là.
Luke 10:13 ^
A curse is on you, Chorazin! A curse is on you, Beth-saida! For if such works of power had been done in Tyre and Sidon as have been done in you, they would have been turned from their sins, in days gone by, seated in the dust.
Luc 10:13 ^
Malheur à toi, Chorazin! malheur à toi, Bethsaïda! car, si les miracles qui ont été faits au milieu de vous avaient été faits dans Tyr et dans Sidon, il y a longtemps qu`elles se seraient repenties, en prenant le sac et la cendre.
Luke 10:14 ^
But it will be better for Tyre and Sidon, in the day of judging, than for you.
Luc 10:14 ^
C`est pourquoi, au jour du jugement, Tyr et Sidon seront traitées moins rigoureusement que vous.
Luke 10:15 ^
And you, Capernaum, were you not lifted up to heaven? you will go down to hell.
Luc 10:15 ^
Et toi, Capernaüm, qui as été élevée jusqu`au ciel, tu seras abaissée jusqu`au séjour des morts.
Luke 10:16 ^
Whoever gives ear to you, gives ear to me; and whoever is against you, is against me; and whoever is against me, is against him who sent me.
Luc 10:16 ^
Celui qui vous écoute m`écoute, et celui qui vous rejette me rejette; et celui qui me rejette rejette celui qui m`a envoyé.
Luke 10:17 ^
And the seventy came back with joy, saying, Lord, even the evil spirits are under our power in your name.
Luc 10:17 ^
Les soixante-dix revinrent avec joie, disant: Seigneur, les démons mêmes nous sont soumis en ton nom.
Luke 10:18 ^
And he said, I was watching for Satan, falling from heaven like a star.
Luc 10:18 ^
Jésus leur dit: Je voyais Satan tomber du ciel comme un éclair.
Luke 10:19 ^
See, I have given you power to put your feet on snakes and evil beasts, and over all the strength of him who is against you: and nothing will do you damage.
Luc 10:19 ^
Voici, je vous ai donné le pouvoir de marcher sur les serpents et les scorpions, et sur toute la puissance de l`ennemi; et rien ne pourra vous nuire.
Luke 10:20 ^
Do not be glad, however, because you have power over spirits, but because your names are recorded in heaven.
Luc 10:20 ^
Cependant, ne vous réjouissez pas de ce que les esprits vous sont soumis; mais réjouissez-vous de ce que vos noms sont écrits dans les cieux.
Luke 10:21 ^
In that same hour he was full of joy in the Holy Spirit and said, I give praise to you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have kept these things secret from the wise and the men of learning, and have made them clear to little children: for so, O Father, it was pleasing in your eyes.
Luc 10:21 ^
En ce moment même, Jésus tressaillit de joie par le Saint Esprit, et il dit: Je te loue, Père, Seigneur du ciel et de la terre, de ce que tu as caché ces choses aux sages et aux intelligents, et de ce que tu les as révélées aux enfants. Oui, Père, je te loue de ce que tu l`as voulu ainsi.
Luke 10:22 ^
All things have been given to me by my Father: and no one has knowledge of the Son, but only the Father: and of the Father, but only the Son, and he to whom the Son will make it clear.
Luc 10:22 ^
Toutes choses m`ont été données par mon Père, et personne ne connaît qui est le Fils, si ce n`est le Père, ni qui est le Père, si ce n`est le Fils et celui à qui le Fils veut le révéler.
Luke 10:23 ^
And, turning to the disciples, he said privately, Happy are the eyes which see the things you see:
Luc 10:23 ^
Et, se tournant vers les disciples, il leur dit en particulier: Heureux les yeux qui voient ce que vous voyez!
Luke 10:24 ^
For I say to you that numbers of prophets and kings have had a desire to see the things which you see, and have not seen them, and to have knowledge of the things which have come to your ears, and they had it not.
Luc 10:24 ^
Car je vous dis que beaucoup de prophètes et de rois ont désiré voir ce que vous voyez, et ne l`ont pas vu, entendre ce que vous entendez, et ne l`ont pas entendu.
Luke 10:25 ^
And a certain teacher of the law got up and put him to the test, saying, Master, what have I to do so that I may have eternal life?
Luc 10:25 ^
Un docteur de la loi se leva, et dit à Jésus, pour l`éprouver: Maître, que dois-je faire pour hériter la vie éternelle?
Luke 10:26 ^
And he said to him, What does the law say, in your reading of it?
Luc 10:26 ^
Jésus lui dit: Qu`est-il écrit dans la loi? Qu`y lis-tu?
Luke 10:27 ^
And he, answering, said, Have love for the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and for your neighbour as for yourself.
Luc 10:27 ^
Il répondit: Tu aimeras le Seigneur, ton Dieu, de tout ton coeur, de toute ton âme, de toute ta force, et de toute ta pensée; et ton prochain comme toi-même.
Luke 10:28 ^
And he said, You have given the right answer: do this and you will have life.
Luc 10:28 ^
Tu as bien répondu, lui dit Jésus; fais cela, et tu vivras.
Luke 10:29 ^
But he, desiring to put himself in the right, said to Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
Luc 10:29 ^
Mais lui, voulant se justifier, dit à Jésus: Et qui est mon prochain?
Luke 10:30 ^
And Jesus, answering him, said, A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he got into the hands of thieves, who took his clothing and gave him cruel blows, and when they went away, he was half dead.
Luc 10:30 ^
Jésus reprit la parole, et dit: Un homme descendait de Jérusalem à Jéricho. Il tomba au milieu des brigands, qui le dépouillèrent, le chargèrent de coups, et s`en allèrent, le laissant à demi mort.
Luke 10:31 ^
And by chance a certain priest was going down that way: and when he saw him, he went by on the other side.
Luc 10:31 ^
Un sacrificateur, qui par hasard descendait par le même chemin, ayant vu cet homme, passa outre.
Luke 10:32 ^
And in the same way, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, went by on the other side.
Luc 10:32 ^
Un Lévite, qui arriva aussi dans ce lieu, l`ayant vu, passa outre.
Luke 10:33 ^
But a certain man of Samaria, journeying that way, came where he was, and when he saw him, he was moved with pity for him,
Luc 10:33 ^
Mais un Samaritain, qui voyageait, étant venu là, fut ému de compassion lorsqu`il le vit.
Luke 10:34 ^
And came to him and put clean linen round his wounds, with oil and wine; and he put him on his beast and took him to a house and took care of him.
Luc 10:34 ^
Il s`approcha, et banda ses plaies, en y versant de l`huile et du vin; puis il le mit sur sa propre monture, le conduisit à une hôtellerie, et prit soin de lui.
Luke 10:35 ^
And the day after he took two pennies and gave them to the owner of the house and said, Take care of him; and if this money is not enough, when I come again I will give you whatever more is needed.
Luc 10:35 ^
Le lendemain, il tira deux deniers, les donna à l`hôte, et dit: Aie soin de lui, et ce que tu dépenseras de plus, je te le rendrai à mon retour.
Luke 10:36 ^
Which of these three men, in your opinion, was neighbour to the man who came into the hands of thieves?
Luc 10:36 ^
Lequel de ces trois te semble avoir été le prochain de celui qui était tombé au milieu des brigands?
Luke 10:37 ^
And he said, The one who had mercy on him. And Jesus said, Go and do the same.
Luc 10:37 ^
C`est celui qui a exercé la miséricorde envers lui, répondit le docteur de la loi. Et Jésus lui dit: Va, et toi, fais de même.
Luke 10:38 ^
Now, while they were on their way, he came to a certain town; and a woman named Martha took him into her house.
Luc 10:38 ^
Comme Jésus était en chemin avec ses disciples, il entra dans un village, et une femme, nommée Marthe, le reçut dans sa maison.
Luke 10:39 ^
And she had a sister, by name Mary, who took her seat at the Lord's feet and gave attention to his words.
Luc 10:39 ^
Elle avait une soeur, nommée Marie, qui, s`étant assise aux pieds du Seigneur, écoutait sa parole.
Luke 10:40 ^
But Martha had her hands full of the work of the house, and she came to him and said, Lord, is it nothing to you that my sister has let me do all the work? Say to her that she is to give me some help.
Luc 10:40 ^
Marthe, occupée à divers soins domestiques, survint et dit: Seigneur, cela ne te fait-il rien que ma soeur me laisse seule pour servir? Dis-lui donc de m`aider.
Luke 10:41 ^
But the Lord, answering, said to her, Martha, Martha, you are full of care and troubled about such a number of things:
Luc 10:41 ^
Le Seigneur lui répondit: Marthe, Marthe, tu t`inquiètes et tu t`agites pour beaucoup de choses.
Luke 10:42 ^
Little is needed, or even one thing only: for Mary has taken that good part, which will not be taken away from her.
Luc 10:42 ^
Une seule chose est nécessaire. Marie a choisi la bonne part, qui ne lui sera point ôtée.
