Giảng Sư 8:1 ^ Ai sánh được với người khôn ngoan? Ai biết giải nghĩa các vật? Sự khôn ngoan làm cho sáng sủa mắt người, và đổi sắc nghiêm trang đi.	Ecclesiastes 8:1 ^ Who is as the wise man? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? A man's wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the hardness of his face is changed.
Giảng Sư 8:2 ^ Ta khuyên rằng: Vì cớ lời thề cùng Đức Chúa Trời, khá gìn giữ mạng vua.	Ecclesiastes 8:2 ^ I [counsel thee], Keep the king's command, and that in regard of the oath of God.
Giảng Sư 8:3 ^ Chớ vội lui ra khỏi trước mặt người; đừng ghì mài trong sự ác, vì vua làm điều chi đẹp lòng mình.	Ecclesiastes 8:3 ^ Be not hasty to go out of his presence; persist not in an evil thing: for he doeth whatsoever pleaseth him.
Giảng Sư 8:4 ^ Vả lại, lời vua có quyền; ai dám nói với người rằng: Ngươi làm chi?	Ecclesiastes 8:4 ^ For the king's word [hath] power; and who may say unto him, What doest thou?
Giảng Sư 8:5 ^ Ai tuân theo lịnh người thì chẳng biết sự tai nạn, và lòng người khôn ngoan biết thì thế và phép lệ.	Ecclesiastes 8:5 ^ Whoso keepeth the commandment shall know no evil thing; and a wise man's heart discerneth time and judgment:
Giảng Sư 8:6 ^ Vì tuy loài người bị sự tai nạn bối rối nhiều, phàm sự gì cũng có thì thế và phép lệ.	Ecclesiastes 8:6 ^ for to every purpose there is a time and judgment; because the misery of man is great upon him:
Giảng Sư 8:7 ^ Vì người chẳng biết điều chi sẽ xảy đến; ai có thế nói trước được các việc được xảy ra làm sao?	Ecclesiastes 8:7 ^ for he knoweth not that which shall be; for who can tell him how it shall be?
Giảng Sư 8:8 ^ Chẳng có ai cai trị được sanh khí để cầm sanh khí lại; lại chẳng ai có quyền về ngày chết; trong khi tranh chiến chẳng có sự miễn thứ; sự gian ác nào cứu được kẻ làm ra nó.	Ecclesiastes 8:8 ^ There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power over the day of death; and there is no discharge in war: neither shall wickedness deliver him that is given to it.
Giảng Sư 8:9 ^ Ta có thấy các điều đó; ta chuyên lòng suy nghĩ về mọi việc làm ra ở dưới mặt trời. Có khi người nầy cai trị trên người kia mà làm tai hại cho người ấy.	Ecclesiastes 8:9 ^ All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: [there is] a time wherein one man hath power over another to his hurt.
Giảng Sư 8:10 ^ Ta cùng thấy những kẻ gian ác qua đời, và được chôn bình yên; còn những người làm lành lại phải lìa khỏi nơi thánh, bị người đồng thành quên đi. Ay cũng là sự hư không.	Ecclesiastes 8:10 ^ So I saw the wicked buried, and they came [to the grave]; and they that had done right went away from the holy place, and were forgotten in the city: this also is vanity.
Giảng Sư 8:11 ^ Bởi chẳng thi hành ngay án phạt những việc ác, nên lòng con loài người chuyên làm điều ác.	Ecclesiastes 8:11 ^ Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
Giảng Sư 8:12 ^ Vì kẻ có tội làm ác một trăm lần vẫn được trường thọ; dầu vậy, ta biết rằng kẻ kính sợ trước mặt Đức Chúa Trời, sau rất ắt được phước.	Ecclesiastes 8:12 ^ Though a sinner do evil a hundred times, and prolong his [days], yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, that fear before him:
Giảng Sư 8:13 ^ Nhưng kẻ ác chẳng sẽ được phước; cũng sẽ không được sống lâu, vì đời nó giống như bóng qua; ấy tại nó không kính sợ trước mặt Đức Chúa Trời.	Ecclesiastes 8:13 ^ but it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong [his] days, [which are] as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.
Giảng Sư 8:14 ^ Lại còn có một sự hư không khác trên thế gian: lắm người công bình bị đãi theo công việc kẻ ác, và lắm kẻ ác lại được đãi theo công việc người công bình. Ta nói rằng điều đó cũng là sự hư không.	Ecclesiastes 8:14 ^ There is a vanity which is done upon the earth, that there are righteous men unto whom it happeneth according to the work of the wicked; again, there are wicked men to whom it happeneth according to the work of the righteous: I said that this also is vanity.
Giảng Sư 8:15 ^ Ta bèn khen sự vui mừng, bởi vì dưới mặt trời chẳng có điều gì tốt cho loài người hơn là ăn, uống, và vui sướng; vì ấy là điều còn lại cho mình về công lao trọn trong các ngày của đời mình, mà Đức Chúa Trời ban cho mình dưới mặt trời.	Ecclesiastes 8:15 ^ Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be joyful: for that shall abide with him in his labor [all] the days of his life which God hath given him under the sun.
Giảng Sư 8:16 ^ Khi ta chuyên lòng để học biết sự khôn ngoan, để hiểu mọi việc làm ra trên đất, thì ta thấy có người ngày và đêm không cho mắt ngủ,	Ecclesiastes 8:16 ^ When I applied my heart to know wisdom, and to see the business that is done upon the earth (for also there is that neither day nor night seeth sleep with his eyes),
Giảng Sư 8:17 ^ cũng thấy mọi công việc Đức Chúa Trời, và hiểu biết người ta không thể dò được mọi việc làm ra dưới mặt trời, dầu chịu cực nhọc ngần nào đặng tìm biết, cũng chẳng tìm được; và dầu cho người khôn ngoan tưởng rằng sẽ chắc biết, thì cũng chẳng tìm được.	Ecclesiastes 8:17 ^ then I beheld all the work of God, that man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because however much a man labor to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea moreover, though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it.
