箴言 1	Proverbs 1
箴言 1:1 ^ 以色列王大衛兒子所羅門的箴言．	Proverbs 1:1 ^ The wise sayings of Solomon, the son of David, king of Israel.
箴言 1:2 ^ 要使人曉得智慧和訓誨．分辨通達的言語．	Proverbs 1:2 ^ To have knowledge of wise teaching; to be clear about the words of reason:
箴言 1:3 ^ 使人處事．領受智慧、仁義、公平、正直的訓誨．	Proverbs 1:3 ^ To be trained in the ways of wisdom, in righteousness and judging truly and straight behaviour:
箴言 1:4 ^ 使愚人靈明、使少年人有知識和謀略．	Proverbs 1:4 ^ To make the simple-minded sharp, and to give the young man knowledge, and serious purpose:
箴言 1:5 ^ 使智慧人聽見、增長學問、使聰明人得著智謀、	Proverbs 1:5 ^ (The wise man, hearing, will get greater learning, and the acts of the man of good sense will be wisely guided:)
箴言 1:6 ^ 使人明白箴言和譬喻、懂得智慧人的言詞和謎語。	Proverbs 1:6 ^ To get the sense of wise sayings and secrets, and of the words of the wise and their dark sayings.
箴言 1:7 ^ 敬畏耶和華是知識的開端．愚妄人藐視智慧和訓誨。	Proverbs 1:7 ^ The fear of the Lord is the start of knowledge: but the foolish have no use for wisdom and teaching.
箴言 1:8 ^ 我兒、要聽你父親的訓誨、不可離棄你母親的法則〔或作指教〕．	Proverbs 1:8 ^ My son, give ear to the training of your father, and do not give up the teaching of your mother:
箴言 1:9 ^ 因為這要作你頭上的華冠、你項上的金鍊。	Proverbs 1:9 ^ For they will be a crown of grace for your head, and chain-ornaments about your neck.
箴言 1:10 ^ 我兒、惡人若引誘你、你不可隨從。	Proverbs 1:10 ^ My son, if sinners would take you out of the right way, do not go with them.
箴言 1:11 ^ 他們若說、你與我們同去、我們要埋伏流人之血、要蹲伏害無罪之人．	Proverbs 1:11 ^ If they say, Come with us; let us make designs against the good, waiting secretly for the upright, without cause;
箴言 1:12 ^ 我們好像陰間、把他們活活吞下．他們如同下坑的人、被我們囫圇吞了．	Proverbs 1:12 ^ Let us overcome them living, like the underworld, and in their strength, as those who go down to death;
箴言 1:13 ^ 我們必得各樣寶物、將所擄來的裝滿房屋．	Proverbs 1:13 ^ Goods of great price will be ours, our houses will be full of wealth;
箴言 1:14 ^ 你與我們大家同分．我們共用一個囊袋。	Proverbs 1:14 ^ Take your chance with us, and we will all have one money-bag:
箴言 1:15 ^ 我兒、不要與他們同行一道．禁止你腳走他們的路．	Proverbs 1:15 ^ My son, do not go with them; keep your feet from their ways:
箴言 1:16 ^ 因為他們的腳奔跑行惡、他們急速流人的血。	Proverbs 1:16 ^ For their feet are running after evil, and they are quick to take a man's life.
箴言 1:17 ^ 好像飛鳥、網羅設在眼前仍不躲避．	Proverbs 1:17 ^ Truly, to no purpose is the net stretched out before the eyes of the bird:
箴言 1:18 ^ 這些人埋伏、是為自流己血．蹲伏、是為自害己命。	Proverbs 1:18 ^ And they are secretly waiting for their blood and making ready destruction for themselves.
箴言 1:19 ^ 凡貪戀財利的、所行之路、都是如此．這貪戀之心、乃奪去得財者之命。	Proverbs 1:19 ^ Such is the fate of everyone who goes in search of profit; it takes away the life of its owners.
箴言 1:20 ^ 智慧在街市上呼喊、在寬闊處發聲．	Proverbs 1:20 ^ Wisdom is crying out in the street; her voice is loud in the open places;
箴言 1:21 ^ 在熱鬧街頭喊叫、在城門口、在城中發出言語．	Proverbs 1:21 ^ Her words are sounding in the meeting-places, and in the doorways of the town:
箴言 1:22 ^ 說、你們愚昧人喜愛愚昧、褻慢人喜歡褻慢、愚頑人恨惡知識、要到幾時呢。	Proverbs 1:22 ^ How long, you simple ones, will foolish things be dear to you? and pride a delight to the haters of authority? how long will the foolish go on hating knowledge?
箴言 1:23 ^ 你們當因我的責備回轉．我要將我的靈澆灌你們、將我的話指示你們。	Proverbs 1:23 ^ Be turned again by my sharp words: see, I will send the flow of my spirit on you, and make my words clear to you.
箴言 1:24 ^ 我呼喚、你們不肯聽從．我伸手、無人理會．	Proverbs 1:24 ^ Because your ears were shut to my voice; no one gave attention to my out-stretched hand;
箴言 1:25 ^ 反輕棄我一切的勸戒、不肯受我的責備。	Proverbs 1:25 ^ You were not controlled by my guiding, and would have nothing to do with my sharp words:
箴言 1:26 ^ 你們遭災難、我就發笑．驚恐臨到你們、我必嗤笑．	Proverbs 1:26 ^ So in the day of your trouble I will be laughing; I will make sport of your fear;
箴言 1:27 ^ 驚恐臨到你們、好像狂風、災難來到、如同暴風．急難痛苦臨到你們身上．	Proverbs 1:27 ^ When your fear comes on you like a storm, and your trouble like a rushing wind; when pain and sorrow come on you.
箴言 1:28 ^ 那時、你們必呼求我、我卻不答應、懇切的尋找我、卻尋不見．	Proverbs 1:28 ^ Then I will give no answer to their cries; searching for me early, they will not see me:
箴言 1:29 ^ 因為你們恨惡知識、不喜愛敬畏耶和華、	Proverbs 1:29 ^ For they were haters of knowledge, and did not give their hearts to the fear of the Lord:
箴言 1:30 ^ 不聽我的勸戒、藐視我一切的責備、	Proverbs 1:30 ^ They had no desire for my teaching, and my words of protest were as nothing to them.
箴言 1:31 ^ 所以必喫自結的果子、充滿自設的計謀。	Proverbs 1:31 ^ So the fruit of their way will be their food, and with the designs of their hearts they will be made full.
箴言 1:32 ^ 愚昧人背道、必殺己身．愚頑人安逸、必害己命。	Proverbs 1:32 ^ For the turning back of the simple from teaching will be the cause of their death, and the peace of the foolish will be their destruction.
箴言 1:33 ^ 惟有聽從我的、必安然居住、得享安靜、不怕災禍。	Proverbs 1:33 ^ But whoever gives ear to me will take his rest safely, living in peace without fear of evil.
