Acts 11
|
| Услышали Апостолы и братия, бывшие в Иудее, что и язычники приняли слово Божие. | Now the Apostles and the brothers who were in Judaea had news that the word of God had been given to the Gentiles. |
| И когда Петр пришел в Иерусалим, обрезанные упрекали его, | And when Peter came to Jerusalem, those who kept the rule of circumcision had an argument with him, |
| говоря: ты ходил к людям необрезанным и ел с ними. | Saying, You went to men without circumcision, and took food with them. |
| Петр же начал пересказывать им по порядку, говоря: | But Peter gave them an account of it all in order, saying to them, |
| в городе Иоппии я молился, и в исступлении видел видение: сходил некоторый сосуд, как бы большое полотно, за четыре угла спускаемое с неба, и спустилось ко мне. | I was in the town of Joppa, at prayer: and falling into a deep sleep, I saw in a vision a vessel like a great cloth let down from heaven, and it came down to me: |
| Я посмотрел в него и, рассматривая, увидел четвероногих земных, зверей, пресмыкающихся и птиц небесных. | And looking on it with attention I saw in it all sorts of beasts and birds. |
| И услышал я голос, говорящий мне: встань, Петр, заколи и ешь. | And a voice came to my ears saying, Come, Peter; take them for food. |
| Я же сказал: нет, Господи, ничего скверного или нечистого никогда не входило в уста мои. | But I said, No, Lord; for nothing common or unclean has ever come into my mouth. |
| И отвечал мне голос вторично с неба: что Бог очистил, того ты не почитай нечистым. | But the voice, coming a second time from heaven, said, What God has made clean, do not you make common. |
| Это было трижды, и опять поднялось всё на небо. | And this was done three times, and they were all taken up again into heaven. |
| И вот, в тот самый час три человека стали перед домом, в котором я был, посланные из Кесарии ко мне. | And at that minute, three men, sent from Caesarea, came to the house where we were. |
| Дух сказал мне, чтобы я шел с ними, нимало не сомневаясь. Пошли со мною и сии шесть братьев, и мы пришли в дом [того] человека. | And the Spirit gave me orders to go with them, doubting nothing. And these six brothers came with me; and we went into that man's house: |
| Он рассказал нам, как он видел в доме своем Ангела (святого), который стал и сказал ему: пошли в Иоппию людей и призови Симона, называемого Петром; | And he gave us an account of how he had seen the angel in his house, saying, Send to Joppa, and get Simon, named Peter, to come to you; |
| он скажет тебе слова, которыми спасешься ты и весь дом твой. | Who will say words to you through which you and all your family may get salvation. |
| Когда же начал я говорить, сошел на них Дух Святый, как и на нас вначале. | And, while I was talking to them, the Holy Spirit came on them, as on us at first. |
| Тогда вспомнил я слово Господа, как Он говорил: `Иоанн крестил водою, а вы будете крещены Духом Святым`. | And the words of the Lord came into my mind, how he said, The baptism of John was with water, but you will have baptism with the Holy Spirit. |
| Итак, если Бог дал им такой же дар, как и нам, уверовавшим в Господа Иисуса Христа, то кто же я, чтобы мог воспрепятствовать Богу? | If then God gave them, when they had faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the same as he gave to us, who was I to go against God? |
| Выслушав это, они успокоились и прославили Бога, говоря: видно, и язычникам дал Бог покаяние в жизнь. | And hearing these things they said nothing more, but gave glory to God, saying, Then to the Gentiles as to us has God given a change of heart, so that they may have life. |
| Между тем рассеявшиеся от гонения, бывшего после Стефана, прошли до Финикии и Кипра и Антиохии, никому не проповедуя слово, кроме Иудеев. | Then those who had gone away at the time of the trouble about Stephen, went as far as Phoenicia and Cyprus, preaching to the Jews only. |
| Были же некоторые из них Кипряне и Киринейцы, которые, придя в Антиохию, говорили Еллинам, благовествуя Господа Иисуса. | But some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, when they came to Antioch, gave the good news about the Lord Jesus to the Greeks. |
| И была рука Господня с ними, и великое число, уверовав, обратилось к Господу. | And the power of the Lord was with them, and a great number had faith and were turned to the Lord. |
| Дошел слух о сем до церкви Иерусалимской, и поручили Варнаве идти в Антиохию. | And news of them came to the ears of the church at Jerusalem: and they sent Barnabas as far as Antioch: |
| Он, прибыв и увидев благодать Божию, возрадовался и убеждал всех держаться Господа искренним сердцем; | Who, when he came and saw the grace of God, was glad; and he made clear to them the need of keeping near the Lord with all the strength of their hearts: |
| ибо он был муж добрый и исполненный Духа Святаго и веры. И приложилось довольно народа к Господу. | For he was a good man and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith: and a great number were joined to the Lord. |
| Потом Варнава пошел в Тарс искать Савла и, найдя его, привел в Антиохию. | Then he went on to Tarsus, looking for Saul; |
| Целый год собирались они в церкви и учили немалое число людей, и ученики в Антиохии в первый раз стали называться Христианами. | And when he had come across him, he took him to Antioch. And they were with the church there for a year, teaching the people; and the disciples were first given the name of Christians in Antioch. |
| В те дни пришли из Иерусалима в Антиохию пророки. | Now in those days prophets came from Jerusalem to Antioch. |
| И один из них, по имени Агав, встав, предвозвестил Духом, что по всей вселенной будет великий голод, который и был при кесаре Клавдии. | And one of them, named Agabus, said publicly through the Spirit that there would be serious need of food all over the earth: which came about in the time of Claudius. |
| Тогда ученики положили, каждый по достатку своему, послать пособие братьям, живущим в Иудее, | And the disciples, everyone as he was able, made a decision to send help to the brothers living in Judaea: |
| что и сделали, послав [собранное] к пресвитерам через Варнаву и Савла. | Which they did, sending it to the rulers of the church by the hand of Barnabas and Saul. |
