Josué 4:1 Y Cuando toda la gente hubo acabado de pasar el Jordán, Jehová habló á Josué, diciendo:	Joshua 4:1 And it came to pass, when all the nation were clean passed over the Jordan, that Jehovah spake unto Joshua, saying,
Josué 4:2 Tomad del pueblo doce hombres, de cada tribu uno,	Joshua 4:2 Take you twelve men out of the people, out of every tribe a man,
Josué 4:3 Y mandadles, diciendo: Tomaos de aquí del medio del Jordán, del lugar donde están firmes los pies de los sacerdotes, doce piedras, las cuales pasaréis con vosotros, y las asentaréis en el alojamiento donde habéis de tener la noche.	Joshua 4:3 and command ye them, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of the Jordan, out of the place where the priests' feet stood firm, twelve stones, and carry them over with you, and lay them down in the lodging-place, where ye shall lodge this night.
Josué 4:4 Entonces Josué llamó á los doce hombres, los cuales había él ordenado de entre los hijos de Israel, de cada tribu uno;	Joshua 4:4 Then Joshua called the twelve men, whom he had prepared of the children of Israel, out of every tribe a man:
Josué 4:5 Y díjoles Josué: Pasad delante del arca de Jehová vuestro Dios al medio del Jordán; y cada uno de vosotros tome una piedra sobre su hombro, conforme al número de las tribus de los hijos de Israel;	Joshua 4:5 and Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of Jehovah your God into the midst of the Jordan, and take you up every man of you a stone upon his shoulder, according unto the number of the tribes of the children of Israel;
Josué 4:6 Para que esto sea señal entre vosotros; y cuando vuestros hijos preguntaren á sus padres mañana, diciendo: ¿Qué os significan estas piedras?	Joshua 4:6 that this may be a sign among you, that, when your children ask in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones?
Josué 4:7 Les responderéis: Que las aguas del Jordán fueron partidas delante del arca del pacto de Jehová; cuando ella pasó el Jordán, las aguas del Jordán se partieron: y estas piedras serán por memoria á los hijos de Israel para siempre.	Joshua 4:7 then ye shall say unto them, Because the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of Jehovah; when it passed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.
Josué 4:8 Y los hijos de Israel lo hicieron así como Josué les mandó: que levantaron doce piedras del medio del Jordán, como Jehová lo había dicho á Josué, conforme al número de las tribus de los hijos de Israel, y pasáronlas consigo al alojamiento, y las asentaron allí.	Joshua 4:8 And the children of Israel did so as Joshua commanded, and took up twelve stones out of the midst of the Jordan, as Jehovah spake unto Joshua, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel; and they carried them over with them unto the place where they lodged, and laid them down there.
Josué 4:9 Josué también levantó doce piedras en medio del Jordán, en el lugar donde estuvieron los pies de los sacerdotes que llevaban el arca del pacto; y han estado allí hasta hoy.	Joshua 4:9 And Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of the Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests that bare the ark of the covenant stood: and they are there unto this day.
Josué 4:10 Y los sacerdotes que llevaban el arca se pararon en medio del Jordán, hasta tanto que se acabó todo lo que Jehová había mandado á Josué que hablase al pueblo, conforme á todas las cosas que Moisés había á Josué mandado: y el pueblo se dió priesa y pasó.	Joshua 4:10 For the priests that bare the ark stood in the midst of the Jordan, until everything was finished that Jehovah commanded Joshua to speak unto the people, according to all that Moses commanded Joshua: and the people hasted and passed over.
Josué 4:11 Y cuando todo el pueblo acabó de pasar, pasó también el arca de Jehová, y los sacerdotes, en presencia del pueblo.	Joshua 4:11 And it came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over, that the ark of Jehovah passed over, and the priests, in the presence of the people.
Josué 4:12 También los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad, y la media tribu de Manasés, pasaron armados delante de los hijos de Israel, según Moisés les había dicho:	Joshua 4:12 And the children of Reuben, and the children of Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, passed over armed before the children of Israel, as Moses spake unto them:
Josué 4:13 Como cuarenta mil hombres armados á punto pasaron hacia la campiña de Jericó delante de Jehová á la guerra.	Joshua 4:13 about forty thousand ready armed for war passed over before Jehovah unto battle, to the plains of Jericho.
Josué 4:14 En aquel día Jehová engrandeció á Josué en ojos de todo Israel: y temiéronle, como habían temido á Moisés, todos los días de su vida.	Joshua 4:14 On that day Jehovah magnified Joshua in the sight of all Israel; and they feared him, as they feared Moses, all the days of his life.
Josué 4:15 Y Jehová habló á Josué, diciendo:	Joshua 4:15 And Jehovah spake unto Joshua, saying,
Josué 4:16 Manda á los sacerdotes que llevan el arca del testimonio, que suban del Jordán.	Joshua 4:16 Command the priests that bear the ark of the testimony, that they come up out of the Jordan.
Josué 4:17 Y Josué mandó á los sacerdotes, diciendo: Subid del Jordán.	Joshua 4:17 Joshua therefore commanded the priests, saying, Come ye up out of the Jordan.
Josué 4:18 Y aconteció que como los sacerdotes que llevaban el arca del pacto de Jehová, subieron del medio del Jordán, y las plantas de los pies de los sacerdotes estuvieron en seco, las aguas del Jordán se volvieron á su lugar, á su lugar, fkbcorriendo como antes sobre todos sus bordes.	Joshua 4:18 And it came to pass, when the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of Jehovah were come up out of the midst of the Jordan, and the soles of the priests' feet were lifted up unto the dry ground, that the waters of the Jordan returned unto their place, and went over all its banks, as aforetime.
Josué 4:19 Y el pueblo subió del Jordán el diez del mes primero, y asentaron el campo en Gilgal, al lado oriental de Jericó.	Joshua 4:19 And the people came up out of the Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and encamped in Gilgal, on the east border of Jericho.
Josué 4:20 Y Josué erigió en Gilgal las doce piedras que habían traído del Jordán.	Joshua 4:20 And those twelve stones, which they took out of the Jordan, did Joshua set up in Gilgal.
Josué 4:21 Y habló á los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Cuando mañana preguntaren vuestros hijos á sus padres, y dijeren: ¿Qué os significan estas piedras?	Joshua 4:21 And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones?
Josué 4:22 Declararéis á vuestros hijos, diciendo: Israel pasó en seco por este Jordán.	Joshua 4:22 Then ye shall let your children know, saying, Israel came over this Jordan on dry land.
Josué 4:23 Porque Jehová vuestro Dios secó las aguas del Jordán delante de vosotros, hasta que habíais pasado, á la manera que Jehová vuestro Dios lo había hecho en el mar Bermejo, al cual secó delante de nosotros hasta que pasamos:	Joshua 4:23 For Jehovah your God dried up the waters of the Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as Jehovah your God did to the Red Sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were passed over;
Josué 4:24 Para que todos los pueblos de la tierra conozcan la mano de Jehová, que es fuerte; para que temáis á Jehová vuestro Dios todos los días.	Joshua 4:24 that all the peoples of the earth may know the hand of Jehovah, that it is mighty; that ye may fear Jehovah your God for ever.
