Efesios 5	Ephesians 5
Efesios 5:1 SED, pues, imitadores de Dios como hijos amados:	Ephesians 5:1 Be ye therefore imitators of God, as beloved children;
Efesios 5:2 Y andad en amor, como también Cristo nos amó, y se entregó á sí mismo por nosotros, ofrenda y sacrificio á Dios en olor suave.	Ephesians 5:2 and walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell.
Efesios 5:3 Pero fornicación y toda inmundicia, ó avaricia, ni aun se nombre entre vosotros, como conviene á santos;	Ephesians 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as becometh saints;
Efesios 5:4 Ni palabras torpes, ni necedades, ni truhanerías, que no convienen; sino antes bien acciones de gracias.	Ephesians 5:4 nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, or jesting, which are not befitting: but rather giving of thanks.
Efesios 5:5 Porque sabéis esto, que ningún fornicario, ó inmundo, ó avaro, que es servidor de ídolos, tiene herencia en el reino de Cristo y de Dios.	Ephesians 5:5 For this ye know of a surety, that no fornicator, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
Efesios 5:6 Nadie os engañe con palabras vanas; porque por estas cosas viene la ira de Dios sobre los hijos de desobediencia.	Ephesians 5:6 Let no man deceive you with empty words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience.
Efesios 5:7 No seáis pues aparceros con ellos;	Ephesians 5:7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them;
Efesios 5:8 Porque en otro tiempo erais tinieblas; mas ahora sois luz en el Señor: andad como hijos de luz,	Ephesians 5:8 For ye were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord: walk as children of light
Efesios 5:9 (Porque el fruto del Espíritu es en toda bondad, y justicia, y verdad;)	Ephesians 5:9 (for the fruit of the light is in all goodness and righteousness and truth),
Efesios 5:10 Aprobando lo que es agradable al Señor.	Ephesians 5:10 proving what is well-pleasing unto the Lord;
Efesios 5:11 Y no comuniquéis con las obras infructuosas de las tinieblas; sino antes bien redargüidlas.	Ephesians 5:11 and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them;
Efesios 5:12 Porque torpe cosa es aun hablar de lo que ellos hacen en oculto.	Ephesians 5:12 for the things which are done by them in secret it is a shame even to speak of.
Efesios 5:13 Mas todas las cosas cuando son redargüidas, son manifestadas por la luz; porque lo que manifiesta todo, la luz es.	Ephesians 5:13 But all things when they are reproved are made manifest by the light: for everything that is made manifest is light.
Efesios 5:14 Por lo cual dice: Despiértate, tú que duermes, y levántate de los muertos, y te alumbrará Cristo.	Ephesians 5:14 Wherefore [he] saith, Awake, thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall shine upon thee.
Efesios 5:15 Mirad, pues, cómo andéis avisadamente; no como necios, mas como sabios;	Ephesians 5:15 Look therefore carefully how ye walk, not as unwise, but as wise;
Efesios 5:16 Redimiendo el tiempo, porque los días son malos.	Ephesians 5:16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Efesios 5:17 Por tanto, no seáis imprudentes, sino entendidos de cuál sea la voluntad del Señor.	Ephesians 5:17 Wherefore be ye not foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Efesios 5:18 Y no os embriaguéis de vino, en lo cual hay disolución; mas sed llenos de Espíritu;	Ephesians 5:18 And be not drunken with wine, wherein is riot, but be filled with the Spirit;
Efesios 5:19 Hablando entre vosotros con salmos, y con himnos, y canciones espirituales, cantando y alabando al Señor en vuestros corazones;	Ephesians 5:19 speaking one to another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord;
Efesios 5:20 Dando gracias siempre de todo al Dios y Padre en el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo:	Ephesians 5:20 giving thanks always for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;
Efesios 5:21 Sujetados los unos á los otros en el temor de Dios.	Ephesians 5:21 subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ.
Efesios 5:22 Las casadas estén sujetas á sus propios maridos, como al Señor.	Ephesians 5:22 Wives, [be in subjection] unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
Efesios 5:23 Porque el marido es cabeza de la mujer, así como Cristo es cabeza de la iglesia; y él es el que da la salud al cuerpo.	Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the church, [being] himself the saviour of the body.
Efesios 5:24 Así que, como la iglesia está sujeta á Cristo, así también las casadas lo estén á sus maridos en todo.	Ephesians 5:24 But as the church is subject to Christ, so [let] the wives also [be] to their husbands in everything.
Efesios 5:25 Maridos, amad á vuestras mujeres, así como Cristo amó á la iglesia, y se entregó á sí mismo por ella,	Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it;
Efesios 5:26 Para santificarla limpiándola en el lavacro del agua por la palabra,	Ephesians 5:26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,
Efesios 5:27 Para presentársela gloriosa para sí, una iglesia que no tuviese mancha ni arruga, ni cosa semejante; sino que fuese santa y sin mancha.	Ephesians 5:27 that he might present the church to himself a glorious [church], not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Efesios 5:28 Así también los maridos deben amar á sus mujeres como á sus mismos cuerpos. El que ama á su mujer, á sí mismo se ama.	Ephesians 5:28 Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his own wife loveth himself:
Efesios 5:29 Porque ninguno aborreció jamás á su propia carne, antes la sustenta y regala, como también Cristo á la iglesia;	Ephesians 5:29 for no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as Christ also the church;
Efesios 5:30 Porque somos miembros de su cuerpo, de su carne y de sus huesos.	Ephesians 5:30 because we are members of his body.
Efesios 5:31 Por esto dejará el hombre á su padre y á su madre, y se allegará á su mujer, y serán dos en una carne.	Ephesians 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh.
Efesios 5:32 Este misterio grande es: mas yo digo esto con respecto á Cristo y á la iglesia.	Ephesians 5:32 This mystery is great: but I speak in regard of Christ and of the church.
Efesios 5:33 Cada uno empero de vosotros de por sí, ame también á su mujer como á sí mismo; y la mujer reverencie á su marido.	Ephesians 5:33 Nevertheless do ye also severally love each one his own wife even as himself; and [let] the wife [see] that she fear her husband.
