Esther 8	Ester 8
Esther 8:1 That day the king gave all the family of Haman, the hater of the Jews, to Esther the queen. And Mordecai came before the king, for Esther had made clear what he was to her.	Ester 8:1 In quello stesso giorno il re Assuero donò alla regina Ester la casa di Haman, il nemico dei Giudei. E Mardocheo si presentò al re, al quale Ester avea dichiarato la parentela che l’univa a lui.
Esther 8:2 And the king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it to Mordecai. And Esther put Mordecai over the family of Haman.	Ester 8:2 E il re si cavò l’anello che avea fatto togliere a Haman, e lo diede a Mardocheo. Ed Ester diede a Mardocheo il governo della casa di Haman.
Esther 8:3 Then Esther again came before the king, falling down at his feet, and made request to him with weeping, that he would put a stop to the evil purposes of Haman the Agagite and the designs which he had made against the Jews.	Ester 8:3 Poi Ester parlò di nuovo in presenza del re, gli si gittò ai piedi, e lo supplicò con le lacrime agli occhi d’impedire gli effetti della malvagità di Haman l’Agaghita, e delle trame ch’egli aveva ordite contro i Giudei.
Esther 8:4 Then the king put out the rod of gold to Esther, and she got up before the king.	Ester 8:4 Allora il re stese lo scettro d’oro verso Ester; ed Ester s’alzò, rimase in piedi davanti al re,
Esther 8:5 And she said, If it is the king's pleasure and if I have his approval and this thing seems right to the king and I am pleasing to him, then let letters be sent giving orders against those which Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, sent out for the destruction of the Jews in all divisions of the kingdom:	Ester 8:5 e disse: "Se così piace al re, se io ho trovato grazia agli occhi suoi, se la cosa gli par giusta, e se io gli sono gradita, si scriva per revocare le lettere scritte da Haman, figliuolo di Hammedatha, l’Agaghita, col perfido disegno di far perire i Giudei che sono in tutte le province del re.
Esther 8:6 For how is it possible for me to see the evil which is to overtake my nation? how may I see the destruction of my people?	Ester 8:6 Perché come potrei io reggere a vedere la calamità che colpirebbe il mio popolo? Come potrei reggere a vedere la distruzione della mia stirpe?"
Esther 8:7 Then King Ahasuerus said to Esther the queen and to Mordecai the Jew, See now, I have given Esther the family of Haman, and he has come to his death by hanging, because he made an attack on the Jews.	Ester 8:7 Allora il re Assuero disse alla regina Ester e a Mardocheo, il Giudeo: "Ecco, io ho dato a Ester la casa di Haman, e questi e stato appeso alla forca, perché avea voluto metter la mano addosso ai Giudei.
Esther 8:8 So now send a letter about the Jews, writing whatever seems good to you, in the king's name, and stamping it with the king's ring: for a writing signed in the king's name and stamped with the king's ring may not be changed.	Ester 8:8 Scrivete dunque, a pro de’ Giudei, come vi parrà meglio, nel nome del re, e suggellate coll’anello reale; perché ciò ch’è scritto in nome del re e sigillato con l’anello reale, è irrevocabile?"
Esther 8:9 Then at that time, on the twenty-third day of the third month, which is the month Sivan, the king's scribes were sent for; and everything ordered by Mordecai was put in writing and sent to the Jews and the captains and the rulers and the chiefs of all the divisions of the kingdom from India to Ethiopia, a hundred and twenty-seven divisions, to every division in the writing commonly used there, and to every people in their language, and to the Jews in their writing and their language.	Ester 8:9 Senza perder tempo, il ventitreesimo giorno del terzo mese, ch’è il mese di Sivan, furon chiamati i segretari del re e fu scritto, seguendo in tutto l’ordine di Mardocheo, ai Giudei, ai satrapi, ai governatori e ai capi delle centoventisette province, dall’India all’Etiopia, a ogni provincia secondo il suo modo di scrivere, a ogni popolo nella sua lingua, e ai Giudei secondo il loro modo di scrivere e nella loro lingua.
Esther 8:10 The letters were sent in the name of King Ahasuerus and stamped with his ring, and they were taken by men on horseback, going on the quick-running horses used for the king's business, the offspring of his best horses:	Ester 8:10 Fu dunque scritto in nome del re Assuero, si sigillaron le lettere con l’anello reale, e le si mandarono per mezzo di corrieri che cavalcavano veloci corsieri usati per il servizio del re, nati da stalloni reali.
Esther 8:11 In these letters the king gave authority to the Jews in every town to come together and make a fight for their lives, and to send death and destruction on the power of any people in any part of the kingdom attacking them or their children or their women, and to take their goods from them by force,	Ester 8:11 In esse il re permetteva ai Giudei, in qualunque città si trovassero, di radunarsi e di difendere la loro vita, di distruggere, uccidere, sterminare, non esclusi i bambini e le donne, tutta la gente armata, di qualunque popolo e di qualunque provincia si fosse, che li assalisse, e di abbandonare al saccheggio i suoi beni;
Esther 8:12 On one day in every division of the kingdom of Ahasuerus, that is, on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, the month Adar.	Ester 8:12 e ciò, in un medesimo giorno, in tutte le province del re Assuero: il tredici del dodicesimo mese, ch’è il mese di Adar.
Esther 8:13 A copy of the writing, to be made public as an order in every division of the kingdom, was given out to all the peoples, so that the Jews might be ready when that day came to give punishment to their haters.	Ester 8:13 Queste lettere contenevano una copia dell’editto che doveva esser bandito in ogni provincia e pubblicato fra tutti i popoli, perché i Giudei si tenessero pronti per quel giorno a vendicarsi dei loro nemici.
Esther 8:14 So the men went out on the quick-running horses used on the king's business, wasting no time and forced on by the king's order; and the order was given out in Shushan, the king's town.	Ester 8:14 Così i corrieri che montavano veloci corsieri usati per il servizio del re partirono tosto, in tutta fretta, per ordine del re; e il decreto fu promulgato nella residenza reale di Susa.
Esther 8:15 And Mordecai went out from before the king, dressed in king-like robes of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold and clothing of purple and the best linen: and all the town of Shushan gave loud cries of joy.	Ester 8:15 Mardocheo uscì dalla presenza del re con una veste reale di porpora e di lino bianco, con una grande corona d’oro, e un manto di bisso e di scarlatto; la città di Susa mandava gridi di gioia, ed era in festa.
Esther 8:16 And the Jews had light and joy and honour.	Ester 8:16 I Giudei poi erano raggianti di gioia, d’allegrezza, di gloria.
Esther 8:17 And in every part of the kingdom and in every town, wherever the king's letter and his order came, the Jews were glad with great joy, and had a feast and a good day. And a great number of the people of the land became Jews: for the fear of the Jews had come on them.	Ester 8:17 E in ogni provincia, in ogni città, dovunque giungevano l’ordine del re e il suo decreto, vi furon, tra i Giudei gioia, allegrezza, conviti, e giorni lieti. E molti appartenenti ai popoli del paese si fecero Giudei, perché lo spavento dei Giudei s’era impossessato di loro.
