Jeremiah 37:1 And Zedekiah, the son of Josiah, became king in place of Coniah, the son of Jehoiakim, whom Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, made king in the land of Judah.	Jeremia 37:1 Und da Zedekia, der Sohn Josias, ward König anstatt Jechonjas, des Sohnes Jojakims; denn Nebukadnezar, der König zu Babel machte ihn zum König im Lande Juda.
Jeremiah 37:2 But he and his servants and the people of the land did not give ear to the words of the Lord which he said by Jeremiah the prophet.	Jeremia 37:2 Aber er und seine Knechte und das Volk im Lande gehorchten nicht des HERRN Worten, die er durch den Propheten Jeremia redete.
Jeremiah 37:3 And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal, the son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah, the son of Maaseiah the priest, to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Make prayer now to the Lord our God for us.	Jeremia 37:3 Es sandte gleichwohl der König Zedekia Juchal, den Sohn Selemjas, und Zephanja, den Sohn Maasejas, den Priester, zum Propheten Jeremia und ließ ihm sagen: Bitte den HERRN, unsern Gott, für uns!
Jeremiah 37:4 (Now Jeremiah was going about among the people, for they had not put him in prison.	Jeremia 37:4 Denn Jeremia ging unter dem Volk aus und ein, und niemand legte ihn ins Gefängnis.
Jeremiah 37:5 And Pharaoh's army had come out from Egypt: and the Chaldaeans, who were attacking Jerusalem, hearing news of them, went away from Jerusalem.)	Jeremia 37:5 Es war aber das Heer Pharaos aus Ägypten gezogen: und die Chaldäer, so vor Jerusalem lagen, da sie solch Gerücht gehört hatten, waren von Jerusalem abgezogen.
Jeremiah 37:6 Then the word of the Lord came to the prophet Jeremiah, saying,	Jeremia 37:6 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zum Propheten Jeremia und sprach:
Jeremiah 37:7 The Lord, the God of Israel, has said: This is what you are to say to the king of Judah who sent you to get directions from me: See, Pharaoh's army, which has come out to your help, will go back to Egypt, to their land.	Jeremia 37:7 So spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: So sagt dem König Juda's, der euch zu mir gesandt hat, mich zu fragen: Siehe, das Heer Pharaos, das euch zu Hilfe ist ausgezogen, wird wiederum heim nach Ägypten ziehen;
Jeremiah 37:8 And the Chaldaeans will come back again and make war against this town and they will take it and put it on fire.	Jeremia 37:8 und die Chaldäer werden wiederkommen und wider diese Stadt streiten und sie gewinnen und mit Feuer verbrennen.
Jeremiah 37:9 The Lord has said, Have no false hopes, saying to yourselves, The Chaldaeans will go away from us: for they will not go away.	Jeremia 37:9 Darum spricht der HERR also: Betrügt eure Seelen nicht, daß ihr denkt, die Chaldäer werden von uns abziehen; sie werden nicht abziehen.
Jeremiah 37:10 For even if you had overcome all the army of the Chaldaeans fighting against you, and there were only wounded men among them, still they would get up, every man in his tent, and put this town on fire.	Jeremia 37:10 Und wenn ihr schon schlüget das ganze Heer der Chaldäer, so wider euch streiten, und blieben ihrer etliche verwundet übrig, so würden sie doch, ein jeglicher in seinem Gezelt, sich aufmachen und diese Stadt mit Feuer verbrennen.
Jeremiah 37:11 And it came about that when the Chaldaean army outside Jerusalem had gone away for fear of Pharaoh's army,	Jeremia 37:11 Als nun der Chaldäer Heer von Jerusalem war abgezogen um des Heeres willen Pharaos,
Jeremiah 37:12 Jeremiah went out of Jerusalem to go into the land of Benjamin, with the purpose of taking up his heritage there among the people.	Jeremia 37:12 ging Jeremia aus Jerusalem und wollte ins Land Benjamin gehen, seinen Acker in Besitz zu nehmen unter dem Volk.
Jeremiah 37:13 But when he was at the Benjamin door, a captain of the watch named Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah, who was stationed there, put his hand on Jeremiah the prophet, saying, You are going to give yourself up to the Chaldaeans.	Jeremia 37:13 Und da er unter das Tor Benjamin kam, da war einer bestellt zum Torhüter, mit Namen Jeria, der Sohn Selemjas, des Sohnes Hananjas; der griff den Propheten Jeremia und sprach: Du willst zu den Chaldäern fallen.
Jeremiah 37:14 Then Jeremiah said, That is not true; I am not going to the Chaldaeans. But he would not give ear to him: so Irijah made him prisoner and took him to the rulers.	Jeremia 37:14 Jeremia sprach: Das ist nicht wahr; ich will nicht zu den Chaldäern fallen. Aber Jeria wollte ihn nicht hören, sondern griff Jeremia und brachte ihn zu den Fürsten.
Jeremiah 37:15 And the rulers were angry with Jeremiah, and gave him blows and put him in prison in the house of Jonathan the scribe: for they had made that the prison.	Jeremia 37:15 Und die Fürsten wurden zornig über Jeremia und ließen ihn schlagen und warfen ihn ins Gefängnis im Hause Jonathans, des Schreibers; den setzten sie zum Kerkermeister.
Jeremiah 37:16 So Jeremiah came into the hole of the prison, under the arches, and was there for a long time.	Jeremia 37:16 Also ging Jeremia in die Grube und den Kerker und lag lange Zeit daselbst.
Jeremiah 37:17 Then King Zedekiah sent and got him out: and the king, questioning him secretly in his house, said, Is there any word from the Lord? And Jeremiah said, There is. Then he said, You will be given up into the hands of the king of Babylon.	Jeremia 37:17 Und Zedekia, der König, sandte hin und ließ ihn holen und fragte ihn heimlich in seinem Hause und sprach: Ist auch ein Wort vom HERRN vorhanden? Jeremia sprach: Ja; denn du wirst dem König zu Babel in die Hände gegeben werden.
Jeremiah 37:18 Then Jeremiah said to King Zedekiah, What has been my sin against you or against your servants or against this people, that you have put me in prison?	Jeremia 37:18 Und Jeremia sprach zum König Zedekia: Was habe ich wider dich, wider deine Knechte und wider dein Volk gesündigt, daß sie mich in den Kerker geworfen haben?
Jeremiah 37:19 Where now are your prophets who said to you, The king of Babylon will not come against you and against this land?	Jeremia 37:19 Wo sind nun eure Propheten, die euch weissagten und sprachen: Der König zu Babel wird nicht über euch noch über dies Land kommen?
Jeremiah 37:20 And now be pleased to give ear, O my lord the king; let my prayer for help come before you, and do not make me go back to the house of Jonathan the scribe, for fear that I may come to my death there.	Jeremia 37:20 Und nun, mein Herr König, höre mich und laß meine Bitte vor dir gelten und laß mich nicht wieder in Jonathans, des Schreibers, Haus bringen, daß ich nicht sterbe daselbst.
Jeremiah 37:21 Then by the order of Zedekiah the king, Jeremiah was put into the place of the armed watchmen, and they gave him every day a cake of bread from the street of the bread-makers, till all the bread in the town was used up. So Jeremiah was kept in the place of the armed watchmen.	Jeremia 37:21 Da befahl der König Zedekia, daß man Jeremia im Vorhof des Gefängnisses behalten sollte, und ließ ihm des Tages ein Laiblein Brot geben aus der Bäckergasse, bis daß alles Brot in der Stadt aufgezehrt war. Also blieb Jeremia im Vorhof des Gefängnisses.
