Esther 4	Ester 4
Esther 4:1 Now when Mordecai saw what was done, pulling off his robe, he put on haircloth, with dust on his head, and went out into the middle of the town, crying out with a loud and bitter cry.	Ester 4:1 Ug sa nahibaloan ni Mardocheo ang tanan nga nabuhat, gigisi ni Mardocheo ang iyang mga bisti, ug nagbutang ug sako nga saput uban ang mga abo, ug miadto sa kinataliwad-an sa ciudad, ug mitu-aw sa usa ka hataas ug mapait nga paghilak.
Esther 4:2 And he came even before the king's doorway; for no one might come inside the king's door clothed in haircloth.	Ester 4:2 Ug siya miadto bisan sa atubangan sa ganghaan sa hari: kay walay makasulod sa sulod sa ganghaan sa hari nga nagbisti sa sako nga saput.
Esther 4:3 And in every part of the kingdom, wherever the king's word and his order came, there was great sorrow among the Jews, and weeping and crying and going without food; and numbers of them were stretched on the earth covered with dust and haircloth. Esther 4:4 And Esther's women and her servants came and gave her word of it. Then great was the grief of the queen: and she sent robes for Mordecai, so that his clothing of haircloth might be taken off; but he would not have them. Esther 4:5 Then Esther sent for Hathach, one of the king's unsexed servants whom he had given her for waiting on her, and she gave him orders to go to Mordecai and see what this was and why it was.	Ester 4:5 Unya gitawag ni Ester si Atach, usa sa mga eunuco sa palacio sa hari, nga iyang gitudlo sa pag-alagad kaniya, ug gisugo siya sa pagpaadto kang Mardocheo, aron sa pagsusi kong unsa kini, ug ngano kini.
Esther 4:6 So Hathach went out and saw Mordecai in the open square of the town before the king's doorway.	Ester 4:6 Busa si Atach miadto kang Mardocheo, ngadto sa halapad nga dapit sa ciudad, nga atubangan sa ganghaan sa hari.
Esther 4:7 And Mordecai gave him an account of what had taken place, and of the amount of money which Haman had said he would put into the king's store for the destruction of the Jews.	Ester 4:7 Ug gisuginlan siya ni Mardocheo sa tanan nga nanghitabo kaniya, ug ang igo nga gidaghanon sa salapi nga gisaad ni Aman nga ibayad sa mga panudlangan sa bahandi sa hari tungod sa mga Judio, aron sa paglaglag kanila.
Esther 4:8 And he gave him the copy of the order which had been given out in Shushan for their destruction, ordering him to let Esther see it, and to make it clear to her; and to say to her that she was to go in to the king, requesting his mercy, and making prayer for her people.	Ester 4:8 Siya usab mihatag kaniya sa hulad sa sinulat sa sugo nga gihimo didto sa Susan aron sa paglaglag kanila, sa pagpakita niana kang Ester, ug sa pag-asoy niana kaniya, ug sa pagsugo kaniya nga siya moadto sa hari, aron sa paghangyo kaniya ug sa paghimo ug pangaliyupo sa atubangan niya alang sa iyang katawohan.
Esther 4:9 And Hathach came back and gave Esther an account of what Mordecai had said.	Ester 4:9 Ug si Atach miabut ug iyang gisuginlan si Ester sa mga pulong ni Mardocheo.
Esther 4:10 Then Esther sent Hathach to say to Mordecai:	Ester 4:10 Unya si Ester namulong kang Atach, ug gihatagan siya ug usa ka mensaje kang Mardocheo, nga nagaingon:
Esther 4:11 It is common knowledge among all the king's servants and the people of every part of the kingdom, that if anyone, man or woman, comes to the king in his inner room without being sent for, there is only one law for him, that he is to be put to death; only those to whom the king's rod of gold is stretched out may keep their lives: but I have not been sent for to come before the king these thirty days.	Ester 4:11 Ang tanang mga alagad sa hari, ug ang katawohan sa mga lalawigan sa hari, nagpanghibalo, nga bisan kinsa nga lalake kun babaye nga moadto sa hari ngadto sa labing sulod nga sawang, nga wala tawga, adunay usa ka balaod alang kaniya, nga siya pagapatyon, gawas niadto nga kaniya ang hari magatunol sa bulawang cetro, nga siya mabuhi: apan ako wala matawag aron sa pag-adto sa hari sulod niining katloan ka adlaw.
Esther 4:12 And they said these words to Mordecai.	Ester 4:12 Ug ilang gisugilon kang Mardocheo ang mga pulong ni Ester.
Esther 4:13 Then Mordecai sent this answer back to Esther: Do not have the idea that you in the king's house will be safe from the fate of all the Jews.	Ester 4:13 Unya si Mardocheo nagsugo kanila sa pagpatubag kang Ester: Ayaw paghunahuna sa imong kaugalingon nga ikaw makagawas dinhi sa balay sa hari, labaw pa sa tanang mga Judio.
Esther 4:14 If at this time you say nothing, then help and salvation will come to the Jews from some other place, but you and your father's family will come to destruction: and who is to say that you have not come to the kingdom even for such a time as this?	Ester 4:14 Kay kong ikaw magahilum niining panahona, busa ang kagawasan ug kaluwasan makita sa mga Judio gikan sa laing dapit, apan ikaw ug ang balay sa imong amahan mangahanaw: ug kinsay nahibalo kong ikaw wala pa mahiabut sa gingharian sa maingon niini nga panahona?
Esther 4:15 Then Esther sent them back to Mordecai with this answer:	Ester 4:15 Unya si Ester misugo sa pagpatubag ngadto kang Mardocheo niining mga pulonga:
Esther 4:16 Go, get together all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and go without food for me, taking no food or drink night or day for three days: and I and my women will do the same; and so I will go in to the king, which is against the law: and if death is to be my fate, then let it come.	Ester 4:16 Lakaw, tiguma ang tanang mga Judio nga anaa sa Susan, ug magpuasa kamo alang kanako, ug ayaw pagkaon ni mag-inum sulod sa totolo ka adlaw ug sa totolo ka gabii: Ako usab ug ang akong mga dalaga managpuasa sa maong pagkaagi; ug busa ako moadto sa hari, nga dili subay sa balaod: ug kong ako mamatay, mamatay ako.
Esther 4:17 So Mordecai went away and did everything as Esther had said.	Ester 4:17 Busa si Mardocheo mipadayon sa iyang paglakat, ug naghimo sumala sa tanan nga gisugo kaniya ni Ester.
