| And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on the mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty and four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads. | Tôi nhìn xem, thấy Chiên Con đứng trên núi Si-ôn, và với Ngài có mười bốn vạn bốn ngàn người đều có danh Chiên Con và danh Cha Chiên Con ghi trên trán mình. |
| And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and the voice which I heard [was] as [the voice] of harpers harping with their harps: | Tôi nghe một tiếng trước trên trời xuống, y như tiếng nhiều nước, và như tiếng sấm lớn; tiếng mà tôi nghe đó như tiếng đờn cầm mà người đánh đờn gảy vậy: |
| and they sing as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders: and no man could learn the song save the hundred and forty and four thousand, [even] they that had been purchased out of the earth. | chúng hát một bài ca mới trước ngôi, trước bốn con sanh vật và các trưởng lão. Không ai học được bài ca đó, họa chăng chỉ có mười bốn vạn bốn ngàn người đã được chuộc khỏi đất mà thôi. |
| These are they that were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These [are] they that follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were purchased from among men, [to be] the firstfruits unto God and unto the Lamb. | Những kẻ ấy chưa bị ô uế với đờn bà, vì còn trinh khiết. Chiên Con đi đâu, những kẻ nầy theo đó. Những kẻ đó đã được chuộc từ trong loài người, để làm trái đầu mùa cho Đức Chúa Trời và Chiên Con; |
| And in their mouth was found no lie: they are without blemish. | trong miệng chúng chẳng có lời nói dối nào hết, cũng không có dấu vết gì. |
| And I saw another angel flying in mid heaven, having eternal good tidings to proclaim unto them that dwell on the earth, and unto every nation and tribe and tongue and people; | Điều ấy đoạn, tôi thấy một vị thiên sứ khác bay giữa trời, có Tin Lành đời đời, đặng rao truyền cho dân cư trên đất, cho mọi nước, mọi chi phái, mọi tiếng, và mọi dân tộc. |
| and he saith with a great voice, Fear God, and give him glory; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made the heaven and the earth and sea and fountains of waters. | Người cất tiếng lớn nói rằng: Hãy kính sợ Đức Chúa Trời, và tôn vinh Ngài, vì giờ phán xét của Ngài đã đến; hãy thờ phượng Đấng dựng nên trời, đất, biển và các suối nước. |
| And another, a second angel, followed, saying, Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, that hath made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. | Một vị thiên sứ khác, là vị thứ hai, theo sau mà rằng: Ba-by-lôn lớn kia, đã đổ rồi, đã đổ rồi, vì nó có cho các dân tộc uống rượu tà dâm thạnh nộ của nó. |
| And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, If any man worshippeth the beast and his image, and receiveth a mark on his forehead, or upon his hand, | Lại một vị thiên sứ khác, là vị thứ ba, theo sau, nói lớn tiếng mà rằng: Nếu ai thờ phượng con thú cũng tượng nó, và chịu dấu nó ghi trên trán hay trên tay, |
| he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: | thì người ấy cũng vậy, sẽ uống rượu thạnh nộ không pha của Đức Chúa Trời rót trong chén thạnh nộ Ngài; và sẽ chịu đau đớn trong lửa và diêm ở trước mặt các thiên sứ thánh và trước mặt Chiên Con. |
| and the smoke of their torment goeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day and night, they that worship the beast and his image, and whoso receiveth the mark of his name. | Khói của sự đau đớn chúng nó bay lên đời đời. Những kẻ thờ lạy con thú và tượng nó, cũng những kẻ chịu dấu của tên nó ghi, thì cả ngày lẫn đêm không lúc nào được yên nghỉ. |
| Here is the patience of the saints, they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. | Đây tỏ ra sự nhịn nhục của các thánh đồ: chúng giữ điều răn của Đức Chúa Trời và giữ lòng tin Đức Chúa Jêsus. |
| And I heard the voice from heaven saying, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth: yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them. | Tôi nghe có tiếng đến từ trên trời rằng: Hãy viết lấy: Từ rày, phước thay cho những người chết là người chết trong Chúa! Đức Thánh Linh phán: Phải, vì những người ấy nghỉ ngơi khỏi sự khó nhọc, và việc làm mình theo sau. |
| And I saw, and behold, a white cloud; and on the cloud [I saw] one sitting like unto a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand sharp sickle. | Tôi nhìn xem, thấy một đám mây trắng; có kẻ giống như một con người ngồi trên mây, đầu đội mão triều thiên vàng, tay cầm lưỡi liềm bén. |
| And another angel came out from the temple, crying with a great voice to him that sat on the cloud, Send forth thy sickle, and reap: for the hour to reap is come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. | Có một thiên sứ khác ở đền thờ đi ra, cất tiếng lớn kêu Đấng ngồi trên mây rằng: Hãy quăng lưỡi liềm xuống và gặt đi; vì giờ gặt hái đã đến, mùa màng dưới đất đã chín rồi. |
| And he that sat on the cloud cast his sickle upon the earth; and the earth was reaped. | Đấng ngồi trên mây bèn quăng lưỡi liềm mình xuống đất, và dưới đất đều bị gặt. |
| Another angel came out from the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. | Một vị thiên sứ khác ở đền thờ trên trời đi ra, cũng cầm một cái lưỡi liềm bén. |
| And another angel came out from the altar, he that hath power over fire; and he called with a great voice to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Send forth thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. | Rồi một vị thiên sứ khác nữa có quyền cai trị lửa, từ bàn thờ đi ra, lấy tiếng lớn kêu vị thiên sứ cầm lưỡi liềm bén mà rằng: Hãy quăng lưỡi liềm bén của ngươi xuống và hái những chùm nho ở dưới đất đi, vì nho đã chín rồi. |
| And the angel cast his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth, and cast it into the winepress, the great [winepress], of the wrath of God. | Thiên sứ quăng lưỡi liềm xuống đất, cắt vườn nho ở đất và ném nho vào thùng lớn thạnh nộ của Đức Chúa Trời. |
| And the winepress are trodden without the city, and there came out blood from the winepress, even unto the bridles of the horses, as far as a thousand and six hundred furlongs. | Thùng ấy phải giày đạp tại ngoài thành; rồi có huyết ở thùng chảy ra, huyết đó lên đến chỗ khớp ngựa, dài một quãng là một ngàn sáu trăm dặm. |
