Genesis 43:1 Now the land was in bitter need of food.	Бытие 43:1 Голод усилился на земле.
Genesis 43:2 And when the grain which they had got in Egypt was all used up, their father said to them, Go again and get us a little food.	Бытие 43:2 И когда они съели хлеб, который привезли из Египта, тогда отец их сказал им: пойдите опять, купите нам немного пищи.
Genesis 43:3 And Judah said to him, The man said to us with an oath, You are not to come before me again without your brother.	Бытие 43:3 И сказал ему Иуда, говоря: тот человек решительно объявил нам, сказав: не являйтесь ко мне на лице, если брата вашего не будет с вами.
Genesis 43:4 If you will let our brother go with us, we will go down and get food:	Бытие 43:4 Если пошлешь с нами брата нашего, то пойдем и купим тебе пищи,
Genesis 43:5 But if you will not send him, we will not go down: for the man said to us, You are not to come before me if your brother is not with you.	Бытие 43:5 а если не пошлешь, то не пойдем, ибо тот человек сказал нам: не являйтесь ко мне на лице, если брата вашего не будет с вами.
Genesis 43:6 And Israel said, Why were you so cruel to me as to say to him that you had a brother?	Бытие 43:6 Израиль сказал: для чего вы сделали мне такое зло, сказав тому человеку, что у вас есть еще брат?
Genesis 43:7 And they said, The man put a number of questions to us about ourselves and our family, saying, Is your father still living? have you another brother? And we had to give him answers; how were we to have any idea that he would say, Come back with your brother?	Бытие 43:7 Они сказали: расспрашивал тот человек о нас и о родстве нашем, говоря: жив ли еще отец ваш? есть ли у вас брат? Мы и рассказали ему по этим расспросам. Могли ли мы знать, что он скажет: приведите брата вашего?
Genesis 43:8 Then Judah said to Israel, his father, Send the boy with me, and let us be up and going, so that we and you and our little ones may not come to destruction.	Бытие 43:8 Иуда же сказал Израилю, отцу своему: отпусти отрока со мною, и мы встанем и пойдем, и живы будем и не умрем и мы, и ты, и дети наши;
Genesis 43:9 Put him into my care and make me responsible for him: if I do not give him safely back to you, let mine be the sin for ever.	Бытие 43:9 я отвечаю за него, из моих рук потребуешь его; если я не приведу его к тебе и не поставлю его пред лицем твоим, то останусь я виновным пред тобою во все дни жизни;
Genesis 43:10 Truly, if we had not let the time go by, we might have come back again by now.	Бытие 43:10 если бы мы не медлили, то уже сходили бы два раза.
Genesis 43:11 Then their father Israel said to them, If it has to be so, then do this: take of the best fruits of the land in your vessels to give the man, perfumes and honey and spices and nuts:	Бытие 43:11 Израиль, отец их, сказал им: если так, то вот что сделайте: возьмите с собою плодов земли сей и отнесите в дар тому человеку несколько бальзама и несколько меду, стираксы и ладану, фисташков и миндальных орехов;
Genesis 43:12 And take twice as much money with you; that is to say, take back the money which was put in your bags, for it may have been an error;	Бытие 43:12 возьмите и другое серебро в руки ваши; а серебро, обратно положенное в отверстие мешков ваших, возвратите руками вашими: может быть, это недосмотр;
Genesis 43:13 And take your brother and go back to the man:	Бытие 43:13 и брата вашего возьмите и, встав, пойдите опять к человеку тому;
Genesis 43:14 And may God, the Ruler of all, give you mercy before the man, so that he may give you back your other brother and Benjamin. If my children are to be taken from me; there is no help for it.	Бытие 43:14 Бог же Всемогущий да даст вам найти милость у человека того, чтобы он отпустил вам и другого брата вашего и Вениамина, а мне если уже быть бездетным, то пусть буду бездетным.
Genesis 43:15 So they took what their father said for the man, and twice as much money in their hands, and Benjamin, and went on their journey to Egypt, and came before Joseph.	Бытие 43:15 И взяли те люди дары эти, и серебра вдвое взяли в руки свои, и Вениамина, и встали, пошли в Египет и предстали пред лице Иосифа.
Genesis 43:16 And when Joseph saw Benjamin, he said to his chief servant, Take these men into my house, and make ready a meal, for they will take food with me in the middle of the day.	Бытие 43:16 Иосиф, увидев между ними Вениамина, сказал начальнику дома своего: введи сих людей в дом и заколи что-нибудь из скота, и приготовь, потому что со мною будут есть эти люди в полдень.
Genesis 43:17 And the servant did as Joseph said, and took the men into Joseph's house.	Бытие 43:17 И сделал человек тот, как сказал Иосиф, и ввел человек тот людей сих в дом Иосифов.
Genesis 43:18 Now the men were full of fear because they had been taken into Joseph's house and they said, It is because of the money which was put back in our bags the first time; he is looking for something against us, so that he may come down on us and take us and our asses for his use.	Бытие 43:18 И испугались люди эти, что ввели их в дом Иосифов, и сказали: это за серебро, возвращенное прежде в мешки наши, ввели нас, чтобы придраться к нам и напасть на нас, и взять нас в рабство, и ослов наших.
Genesis 43:19 So they went up to Joseph's chief servant at the door of the house,	Бытие 43:19 И подошли они к начальнику дома Иосифова, и стали говорить ему у дверей дома,
Genesis 43:20 And said, O my lord, we only came down the first time to get food;	Бытие 43:20 и сказали: послушай, господин наш, мы приходили уже прежде покупать пищи,
Genesis 43:21 And when we came to our night's resting-place, on opening our bags we saw that every man's money was in the mouth of his bag, all our money in full weight: and we have it with us to give it back;	Бытие 43:21 и случилось, что, когда пришли мы на ночлег и открыли мешки наши, --вот серебро каждого в отверстии мешка его, серебро наше по весу его, и мы возвращаем его своими руками;
Genesis 43:22 As well as more money, with which to get food: we have no idea who put our money in our bags.	Бытие 43:22 а для покупки пищи мы принесли другое серебро в руках наших, мы не знаем, кто положил серебро наше в мешки наши.
Genesis 43:23 Then the servant said, Peace be with you: have no fear: your God, even the God of your father, has put wealth in your bags for you: I had your money. Then he let Simeon come out to them.	Бытие 43:23 Он сказал: будьте спокойны, не бойтесь; Бог ваш и Бог отца вашего дал вам клад в мешках ваших; серебро ваше дошло до меня. И привел к ним Симеона.
Genesis 43:24 And the servant took them into Joseph's house, and gave them water for washing their feet; and he gave their asses food.	Бытие 43:24 И ввел тот человек людей сих в дом Иосифов и дал воды, и они омыли ноги свои; и дал корму ослам их.
Genesis 43:25 And they got ready the things for Joseph before he came in the middle of the day: for word was given to them that they were to have a meal there.	Бытие 43:25 И они приготовили дары к приходу Иосифа в полдень, ибо слышали, что там будут есть хлеб.
Genesis 43:26 And when Joseph came in, they gave him the things which they had for him, and went down to the earth before him.	Бытие 43:26 И пришел Иосиф домой; и они принесли ему в дом дары, которые были на руках их, и поклонились ему до земли.
Genesis 43:27 And he said, How are you? is your father well, the old man of whom you were talking to me? is he still living?	Бытие 43:27 Он спросил их о здоровье и сказал: здоров ли отец ваш старец, о котором вы говорили? жив ли еще он?
Genesis 43:28 And they said, Your servant, our father, is well, he is still living. And they went down on their faces before him.	Бытие 43:28 Они сказали: здоров раб твой, отец наш; еще жив. И преклонились они и поклонились.
Genesis 43:29 Then, lifting up his eyes, he saw Benjamin, his brother, his mother's son, and he said, Is this your youngest brother of whom you gave me word? And he said, God be good to you, my son.	Бытие 43:29 И поднял глаза свои, и увидел Вениамина, брата своего, сына матери своей, и сказал: это брат ваш меньший, о котором вы сказывали мне? И сказал: да будет милость Божия с тобою, сын мой!
Genesis 43:30 Then Joseph's heart went out to his brother, and he went quickly into his room, for he was overcome with weeping.	Бытие 43:30 И поспешно удалился Иосиф, потому что воскипела любовь к брату его, и он готов был заплакать, и вошел он во внутреннюю комнату и плакал там.
Genesis 43:31 Then, after washing his face, he came out, and controlling his feelings said, Put food before us.	Бытие 43:31 И умыв лице свое, вышел, и скрепился и сказал: подавайте кушанье.
Genesis 43:32 And they put a meal ready for him by himself, and for them by themselves, and for the Egyptians who were with him by themselves; because the Egyptians may not take food with the Hebrews, for that would make them unclean.	Бытие 43:32 И подали ему особо, и им особо, и Египтянам, обедавшим с ним, особо, ибо Египтяне не могут есть с Евреями, потому что это мерзость для Египтян.
Genesis 43:33 And they were all given their seats before him in order of birth, from the oldest to the youngest: so that they were looking at one another in wonder.	Бытие 43:33 И сели они пред ним, первородный по первородству его, и младший по молодости его, и дивились эти люди друг пред другом.
Genesis 43:34 And Joseph sent food to them from his table, but he sent five times as much to Benjamin as to any of the others. And they took wine freely with him.	Бытие 43:34 И посылались им кушанья от него, и доля Вениамина была впятеро больше долей каждого из них. И пили, и довольно пили они с ним.
