Dân Số 24:1 ^ Ba-la-am thấy rõ Đức Giê-hô-va ưng ban phước cho Y-sơ-ra-ên, thì không cậy đến phù chú như những lần khác; nhưng người xây mặt về hướng đồng vắng,	Numbers 24:1 ^ Now when Balaam saw that it was the Lord's pleasure to give his blessing to Israel, he did not, as at other times, make use of secret arts, but turning his face to the waste land,
Dân Số 24:2 ^ nhướng mắt lên thấy Y-sơ-ra-ên đóng trại từng chi phái, và Thần Đức Chúa Trời cảm động người,	Numbers 24:2 ^ And lifting up his eyes, he saw Israel there, with their tents in the order of their tribes: and the spirit of God came on him.
Dân Số 24:3 ^ bèn nói lời ca mình mà rằng: Lời ca của Ba-la-am, con trai Bê-ô, Lời ca của người có mắt mở ra,	Numbers 24:3 ^ And moved by the spirit, he said, These are the words of Balaam, son of Beor, the words of the man whose eyes are open:
Dân Số 24:4 ^ Lời ca của người nghe lời Đức Chúa Trời, Xem sự hiện thấy của Đấng Toàn năng, Sấp mình xuống và mắt mở ra:	Numbers 24:4 ^ He says, whose ears are open to the words of God, who has seen the vision of the Ruler of all, falling down, but having his eyes open:
Dân Số 24:5 ^ Hỡi Gia-cốp! trại ngươi tốt dường bao! Hỡi Y-sơ-ra-ên! nhà tạm ngươi đẹp biết mấy!	Numbers 24:5 ^ How fair are your tents, O Jacob, your houses, O Israel!
Dân Số 24:6 ^ Nó trương ra như trũng núi, Khác nào cảnh vườn ở nơi mé sông, Tợ cây trầm hương mà Đức Giê-hô-va đã trồng, Tỉ như cây hương nam ở nơi mé nước.	Numbers 24:6 ^ They are stretched out like valleys, like gardens by the riverside, like flowering trees planted by the Lord, like cedar-trees by the waters.
Dân Số 24:7 ^ Nước chảy tràn ngoài thùng chứa, Hột giống của người nhuần tưới dư dật, Vua người sẽ trổi cao hơn A-gát, Nước người được cao lên.	Numbers 24:7 ^ Peoples will be in fear before his strength, his arm will be on great nations: his king will be higher than Agag, and his kingdom made great in honour.
Dân Số 24:8 ^ Đức Chúa Trời đã dẫn người ra khỏi xứ Ê-díp-tô, Người có sức mạnh như bò rừng, Sẽ nuốt các nước, tức kẻ thù nghịch mình, Bẻ gãy xương chúng nó, đánh chúng nó bằng mũi tên mình.	Numbers 24:8 ^ It is God who has taken him out of Egypt; his horns are like those of the mountain ox; the nations warring against him will be his food, their bones will be broken, they will be wounded with his arrows.
Dân Số 24:9 ^ Người sụm xuống, nằm như sư tử đực, khác nào sư tử cái: Ai dễ khiến ngồi lên? Phước cho kẻ nào chúc phước ngươi, Rủa sả kẻ nào rủa sả ngươi.	Numbers 24:9 ^ He took his sleep stretched out like a lion, and like a she-lion: by whom will his rest be broken? May a blessing be on everyone who gives you blessing, and a curse on everyone by whom you are cursed.
Dân Số 24:10 ^ Bấy giờ, Ba-lác nổi giận cùng Ba-la-am, vỗ tay mà nói cùng Ba-la-am rằng: Ta đã thỉnh ngươi đặng rủa sả kẻ thù nghịch ta; nầy, ngươi lại chúc phước cho chúng nó đã ba lần rồi!	Numbers 24:10 ^ Then Balak was full of wrath against Balaam, and angrily waving his hands he said to Balaam, I sent for you so that those who are against me might be cursed, but now, see, three times you have given them a blessing.
Dân Số 24:11 ^ Vậy, bây giờ, khá chạy trở về xứ ngươi! Ta đã nói ta sẽ tôn ngươi vinh hiển, nhưng nầy, Đức Giê-hô-va đã cản ngươi nhận lãnh.	Numbers 24:11 ^ Go back quickly to the place you came from: it was my purpose to give you a place of honour, but now the Lord has kept you back from honour.
Dân Số 24:12 ^ Ba-la-am đáp cùng Ba-lác rằng: Tôi há chẳng có nói cùng các sứ giả vua đã sai đến tôi rằng:	Numbers 24:12 ^ Then Balaam said to Balak, Did I not say to the men you sent to me,
Dân Số 24:13 ^ Dầu Ba-lác cho tôi nhà người đầy bạc và vàng, tôi cũng chẳng được vượt qua mạng Đức Giê-hô-va để làm tự ý điều phải hay là điều quấy; tôi phải nói điều chi Đức Giê-hô-va sẽ phán!	Numbers 24:13 ^ Even if Balak gave me his house full of silver and gold, it would not be possible for me to go outside the orders of the Lord, doing good or evil at the impulse of my mind; whatever the Lord says I will say?
Dân Số 24:14 ^ Nầy, bây giờ, tôi trở cùng dân tôi, hãy lại, tôi sẽ cáo cho vua biết điều dân nầy ngày sau cùng sẽ làm cho dân sự vua.	Numbers 24:14 ^ So now I will go back to my people: but first let me make clear to you what this people will do to your people in days to come.

Dân Số 24:16 ^ Lời ca của người nghe lời Đức Chúa Trời, Biết sự tri thức của Đấng Chí cao, Xem sự hiện thấy của Đấng Toàn năng, Sấp mình xuống mà mắt tự mở ra:	Numbers 24:16 ^ He says, whose ear is open to the words of God, who has knowledge of the Most High, who has seen the vision of the Ruler of all, falling down and having his eyes open:
Dân Số 24:17 ^ Tôi thấy Người, nhưng chẳng phải bây giờ; Tôi xem Người, nhưng chẳng phải ở gần; Một ngôi sao hiện ra từ Gia-cốp, Một cây phủ việt trồi lên từ Y-sơ-ra-ên; Người sẽ đâm lủng Mô-áp từ đầu nầy tới đầu kia, Hủy diệt dân hay dấy giặc nầy.	Numbers 24:17 ^ I see him, but not now: looking on him, but not near: a star will come out of Jacob, and a rod of authority out of Israel, sending destruction to the farthest limits of Moab and on the head of all the sons of Sheth.
Dân Số 24:18 ^ Người sẽ được Ê-đôm làm cơ nghiệp; Sẽ được Sê -i-rơ, là kẻ thù nghịch mình, làm sản nghiệp. Y-sơ-ra-ên sẽ tỏ ra sự cường thạnh mình.	Numbers 24:18 ^ Edom will be his heritage, and he will put an end to the last of the people of Seir.
Dân Số 24:19 ^ Đấng ra từ Gia-cốp sẽ cầm quyền, Người sẽ diệt những dân sót của thành.	Numbers 24:19 ^ And Israel will go on in strength, and Jacob will have rule over his haters.
Dân Số 24:20 ^ Ba-la-am cũng thấy A-ma-léc, bèn nói lời ca mình rằng: A-ma-léc đứng đầu các nước; Nhưng sau cùng người sẽ bị diệt vong.	Numbers 24:20 ^ Then, turning his eyes to Amalek, he went on with his story and said, Amalek was the first of the nations, but his part will be destruction for ever.
Dân Số 24:21 ^ Kế đó, Ba-la-am thấy người Kê-nít, bèn nói lời ca mình rằng: Chỗ ở ngươi là bền vững, Ổ ngươi đóng trong hòn đá.	Numbers 24:21 ^ And looking on the Kenites he went on with his story and said, Strong is your living-place, and your secret place is safe in the rock.
Dân Số 24:22 ^ Nhưng Ca-in sẽ bị hư nát, Cho đến khi A-su-rơ bắt dẫn tù ngươi.	Numbers 24:22 ^ But still the Kenites will be wasted, till Asshur takes you away prisoner.
Dân Số 24:23 ^ Người còn nói lời ca mình rằng: Oi! khi Đức Chúa Trời đã làm các điều nầy, ai sẽ còn sống?	Numbers 24:23 ^ Then he went on with his story and said, But who may keep his life when God does this?
Dân Số 24:24 ^ Nhưng sẽ có những tàu từ gành Kít-tim đến, Hà khắc A-su, hà khắc Hê-be. Rồi chính người cũng sẽ bị tuyệt diệt.	Numbers 24:24 ^ But ships will come from the direction of Kittim, troubling Asshur and troubling Eber, and like the others their fate will be destruction.
Dân Số 24:25 ^ Đoạn, Ba-la-am đứng dậy đi về bổn xứ. Ba-lác cũng lên đường.	Numbers 24:25 ^ Then Balaam got up and went back to his place: and Balak went away.
