Salmos 18:1 ^
Eu te amo, ó Senhor, força minha.
Psalms 18:1 ^
To the chief music-maker. Of the servant of the Lord, of David, who said the words of this song to the Lord on the day when the Lord made him free from the hand of all his haters, and from the hand of Saul; and he said,I will give you my love, O Lord, my strength.
Salmos 18:2 ^
O Senhor é a minha rocha, a minha fortaleza e o meu libertador; o meu Deus, o meu rochedo, em quem me refúgio; o meu escudo, a força da minha salvação, e o meu alto refúgio.
Psalms 18:2 ^
The Lord is my Rock, my walled town, and my saviour; my God, my Rock, in him will I put my faith; my breastplate, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
Salmos 18:3 ^
Invoco o Senhor, que é digno de louvor, e sou salvo dos meus inimigos.
Psalms 18:3 ^
I will send up my cry to the Lord, who is to be praised; so will I be made safe from those who are against me.
Salmos 18:4 ^
Cordas de morte me cercaram, e torrentes de perdição me amedrontaram.
Psalms 18:4 ^
The cords of death were round me, and the seas of evil put me in fear.
Salmos 18:5 ^
Cordas de Seol me cingiram, laços de morte me surpreenderam.
Psalms 18:5 ^
The cords of hell were round me: the nets of death came on me.
Salmos 18:6 ^
Na minha angústia invoquei o Senhor, sim, clamei ao meu Deus; do seu templo ouviu ele a minha voz; o clamor que eu lhe fiz chegou aos seus ouvidos.
Psalms 18:6 ^
In my trouble my voice went up to the Lord, and my cry to my God: my voice came to his hearing in his holy Temple, and my prayer came before him, even into his ears.
Salmos 18:7 ^
Então a terra se abalou e tremeu, e os fundamentos dos montes também se moveram e se abalaram, porquanto ele se indignou.
Psalms 18:7 ^
Then trouble and shock came on the earth; and the bases of the mountains were moved and shaking, because he was angry.
Salmos 18:8 ^
Das suas narinas subiu fumaça, e da sua boca saiu fogo devorador; dele saíram brasas ardentes.
Psalms 18:8 ^
There went up a smoke from his nose, and a fire of destruction from his mouth: flames were lighted by it.
Salmos 18:9 ^
Ele abaixou os céus e desceu; trevas espessas havia debaixo de seus pés.
Psalms 18:9 ^
The heavens were bent, so that he might come down; and it was dark under his feet.
Salmos 18:10 ^
Montou num querubim, e voou; sim, voou sobre as asas do vento.
Psalms 18:10 ^
And he went in flight through the air, seated on a storm-cloud: going quickly on the wings of the wind.
Salmos 18:11 ^
Fez das trevas o seu retiro secreto; o pavilhão que o cercava era a escuridão das águas e as espessas nuvens do céu.
Psalms 18:11 ^
He made the dark his secret place; his tent round him was the dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.
Salmos 18:12 ^
Do resplendor da sua presença saíram, pelas suas espessas nuvens, saraiva e brasas de fogo.
Psalms 18:12 ^
Before his shining light his dark clouds went past, raining ice and fire.
Salmos 18:13 ^
O Senhor trovejou a sua voz; e havia saraiva e brasas de fogo.
Psalms 18:13 ^
The Lord made thunder in the heavens, and the voice of the Highest was sounding out: a rain of ice and fire.
Salmos 18:14 ^
Despediu as suas setas, e os espalhou; multiplicou raios, e os perturbou.
Psalms 18:14 ^
He sent out his arrows, driving them in all directions; by his flames of fire they were troubled.
Salmos 18:15 ^
Então foram vistos os leitos das águas, e foram descobertos os fundamentos do mundo, à tua repreensão, Senhor, ao sopro do vento das tuas narinas.
Psalms 18:15 ^
Then the deep beds of the waters were seen, and the bases of the world were uncovered, because of your words of wrath, O Lord, because of the breath from your mouth.
Salmos 18:16 ^
Do alto estendeu o braço e me tomou; tirou-me das muitas águas.
Psalms 18:16 ^
He sent from on high, he took me, pulling me out of great waters.
Salmos 18:17 ^
Livrou-me do meu inimigo forte e daqueles que me odiavam; pois eram mais poderosos do que eu.
Psalms 18:17 ^
He made me free from my strong hater, and from those who were against me, because they were stronger than I.
Salmos 18:18 ^
Surpreenderam-me eles no dia da minha calamidade, mas o Senhor foi o meu amparo.
Psalms 18:18 ^
They came on me in the day of my trouble; but the Lord was my support.
Salmos 18:19 ^
Trouxe-me para um lugar espaçoso; livrou-me, porque tinha prazer em mim.
Psalms 18:19 ^
He took me out into a wide place; he was my saviour because he had delight in me.
Salmos 18:20 ^
Recompensou-me o Senhor conforme a minha justiça, retribuiu-me conforme a pureza das minhas mãos.
Psalms 18:20 ^
The Lord gives me the reward of my righteousness, because my hands are clean before him.
Salmos 18:21 ^
Pois tenho guardado os caminhos do Senhor, e não me apartei impiamente do meu Deus.
Psalms 18:21 ^
For I have kept the ways of the Lord; I have not been turned away in sin from my God.
Salmos 18:22 ^
Porque todas as suas ordenanças estão diante de mim, e nunca afastei de mim os seus estatutos.
Psalms 18:22 ^
For all his decisions were before me, and I did not put away his laws from me.
Salmos 18:23 ^
Também fui irrepreensível diante dele, e me guardei da iniqüidade.
Psalms 18:23 ^
And I was upright before him, and I kept myself from sin.
Salmos 18:24 ^
Pelo que o Senhor me recompensou conforme a minha justiça, conforme a pureza de minhas mãos perante os seus olhos.
Psalms 18:24 ^
Because of this the Lord has given me the reward of my righteousness, because my hands are clean in his eyes.
Salmos 18:25 ^
Para com o benigno te mostras benigno, e para com o homem perfeito te mostras perfeito.
Psalms 18:25 ^
On him who has mercy you will have mercy; to the upright you will be upright;
Salmos 18:26 ^
Para com o puro te mostras puro, e para com o perverso te mostras contrário.
Psalms 18:26 ^
He who is holy will see that you are holy; but to the man whose way is not straight you will be a hard judge.
Salmos 18:27 ^
Porque tu livras o povo aflito, mas os olhos altivos tu os abates.
Psalms 18:27 ^
For you are the saviour of those who are in trouble; but eyes full of pride will be made low.
Salmos 18:28 ^
Sim, tu acendes a minha candeia; o Senhor meu Deus alumia as minhas trevas.
Psalms 18:28 ^
You, O Lord, will be my light; by you, my God, the dark will be made bright for me.
Salmos 18:29 ^
Com o teu auxílio dou numa tropa; com o meu Deus salto uma muralha.
Psalms 18:29 ^
By your help I have made a way through the wall which was shutting me in; by the help of my God I have gone over a wall.
Salmos 18:30 ^
Quanto a Deus, o seu caminho é perfeito; a promessa do Senhor é provada; ele é um escudo para todos os que nele confiam.
Psalms 18:30 ^
As for God, his way is completely good; the word of the Lord is tested; he is a breastplate for all those who put their faith in him.
Salmos 18:31 ^
Pois, quem é Deus senão o Senhor? e quem é rochedo senão o nosso Deus?
Psalms 18:31 ^
For who is God but the Lord? or who is a Rock but our God?
Salmos 18:32 ^
Ele é o Deus que me cinge de força e torna perfeito o meu caminho;
Psalms 18:32 ^
God puts a strong band about me, guiding me in a straight way.
Salmos 18:33 ^
faz os meus pés como os das corças, e me coloca em segurança nos meus lugares altos.
Psalms 18:33 ^
He makes my feet like roes' feet, and puts me on high places.
Salmos 18:34 ^
Adestra as minhas mãos para a peleja, de sorte que os meus braços vergam um arco de bronze.
Psalms 18:34 ^
He makes my hands expert in war, so that a bow of brass is bent by my arms.
Salmos 18:35 ^
Também me deste o escudo da tua salvação; a tua mão direita me sustém, e a tua clemência me engrandece.
Psalms 18:35 ^
You have given me the breastplate of your salvation: your right hand has been my support, and your mercy has made me great.
Salmos 18:36 ^
Alargas o caminho diante de mim, e os meus pés não resvalam.
Psalms 18:36 ^
You have made my steps wide under me, so that my feet are kept from slipping.
Salmos 18:37 ^
Persigo os meus inimigos, e os alcanço; não volto senão depois de os ter consumido.
Psalms 18:37 ^
I go after my haters and overtake them; not turning back till they are all overcome.
Salmos 18:38 ^
Atravesso-os, de modo que nunca mais se podem levantar; caem debaixo dos meus pés.
Psalms 18:38 ^
I will give them wounds, so that they are not able to get up: they are stretched under my feet.
Salmos 18:39 ^
Pois me cinges de força para a peleja; prostras debaixo de mim aqueles que contra mim se levantam.
Psalms 18:39 ^
For I have been armed by you with strength for the fight: you have made low under me those who come out against me.
Salmos 18:40 ^
Fazes também que os meus inimigos me dêem as costas; aos que me odeiam eu os destruo.
Psalms 18:40 ^
By you their backs are turned in flight, so that my haters are cut off.
Salmos 18:41 ^
Clamam, porém não há libertador; clamam ao Senhor, mas ele não lhes responde.
Psalms 18:41 ^
They were crying out, but there was no one to come to their help: even to the Lord, but he gave them no answer.
Salmos 18:42 ^
Então os esmiúço como o pó diante do vento; lanço-os fora como a lama das ruas.
Psalms 18:42 ^
Then they were crushed as small as dust before the wind; they were drained out like the waste of the streets.
Salmos 18:43 ^
Livras-me das contendas do povo, e me fazes cabeça das nações; um povo que eu não conhecia se me sujeita.
Psalms 18:43 ^
You have made me free from the fightings of the people; you have made me the head of the nations: a people of whom I had no knowledge will be my servants.
Salmos 18:44 ^
Ao ouvirem de mim, logo me obedecem; com lisonja os estrangeiros se me submetem.
Psalms 18:44 ^
From the time when my name comes to their ears they will be ruled by me: men of other countries will, with false hearts, put themselves under my authority.
Salmos 18:45 ^
Os estrangeiros desfalecem e, tremendo, saem dos seus esconderijos.
Psalms 18:45 ^
They will be wasting away, they will come out of their secret places shaking with fear.
Salmos 18:46 ^
Vive o Senhor; bendita seja a minha rocha, e exaltado seja o Deus da minha salvação,
Psalms 18:46 ^
The Lord is living; praise be to my Rock, and let the God of my salvation be honoured.
Salmos 18:47 ^
o Deus que me dá vingança, e sujeita os povos debaixo de mim,
Psalms 18:47 ^
It is God who sends punishment on my haters, and puts peoples under my rule.
Salmos 18:48 ^
que me livra de meus inimigos; sim, tu me exaltas sobre os que se levantam contra mim; tu me livras do homem violento.
Psalms 18:48 ^
He makes me free from my haters; I am lifted up over those who come up against me: you have made me free from the violent man.
Salmos 18:49 ^
Pelo que, ó Senhor, te louvarei entre as nações, e entoarei louvores ao teu nome.
Psalms 18:49 ^
Because of this I will give you praise, O Lord, among the nations, and will make a song of praise to your name.
Salmos 18:50 ^
Ele dá grande livramento ao seu rei, e usa de benignidade para com o seu ungido, para com Davi e sua posteridade, para sempre.
Psalms 18:50 ^
Great salvation does he give to his king; he has mercy on the king of his selection, David, and on his seed for ever.
