Salmos 147	Psalms 147
Salmos 147:1 Louvai ao Senhor; porque é bom cantar louvores ao nosso Deus; pois isso é agradável, e decoroso é o louvor.	Psalms 147:1 Give praise to the Lord; for it is good to make melody to our God; praise is pleasing and beautiful.
Salmos 147:2 O Senhor edifica Jerusalém, congrega os dispersos de Israel;	Psalms 147:2 The Lord is building up Jerusalem; he makes all the outlaws of Israel come together.
Salmos 147:3 sara os quebrantados de coração, e cura-lhes as feridas;	Psalms 147:3 He makes the broken-hearted well, and puts oil on their wounds.
Salmos 147:4 conta o número das estrelas, chamando-as a todas pelos seus nomes.	Psalms 147:4 He sees the number of the stars; he gives them all their names.
Salmos 147:5 Grande é o nosso Senhor, e de grande poder; não há limite ao seu entendimento.	Psalms 147:5 Great is our Lord, and great his power; there is no limit to his wisdom.
Salmos 147:6 O Senhor eleva os humildes, e humilha os perversos até a terra.	Psalms 147:6 The Lord gives help to the poor in spirit; but he sends sinners down in shame.
Salmos 147:7 Cantai ao Senhor em ação de graças; com a harpa cantai louvores ao nosso Deus.	Psalms 147:7 Make songs of praise to the Lord; make melody to our God with instruments of music.
Salmos 147:8 Ele é que cobre o céu de nuvens, que prepara a chuva para a terra, e que faz produzir erva sobre os montes;	Psalms 147:8 By his hand the heaven is covered with clouds and rain is stored up for the earth; he makes the grass tall on the mountains.
Salmos 147:9 que dá aos animais o seu alimento, e aos filhos dos corvos quando clamam.	Psalms 147:9 He gives food to every beast, and to the young ravens in answer to their cry.
Salmos 147:10 Não se deleita na força do cavalo, nem se compraz nas pernas do homem.	Psalms 147:10 He has no delight in the strength of a horse; he takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.
Salmos 147:11 O Senhor se compraz nos que o temem, nos que esperam na sua benignidade.	Psalms 147:11 The Lord takes pleasure in his worshippers, and in those whose hope is in his mercy.
Salmos 147:12 Louva, ó Jerusalém, ao Senhor; louva, ó Sião, ao teu Deus.	Psalms 147:12 Give praise to the Lord, O Jerusalem; give praise to your God, O Zion.
Salmos 147:13 Porque ele fortalece as trancas das tuas portas; abençoa aos teus filhos dentro de ti.	Psalms 147:13 He has made strong the iron bands of your doors; he has sent blessings on your children inside your walls.
Salmos 147:14 Ele é quem estabelece a paz nas tuas fronteiras; quem do mais fino trigo te farta;	Psalms 147:14 He gives peace in all your land, making your stores full of fat grain.
Salmos 147:15 quem envia o seu mandamento pela terra; a sua palavra corre mui velozmente.	Psalms 147:15 He sends out his orders to the earth; his word goes out quickly.
Salmos 147:16 Ele dá a neve como lã, esparge a geada como cinza,	Psalms 147:16 He gives snow like wool; he sends out ice-drops like dust.
Salmos 147:17 e lança o seu gelo em pedaços; quem pode resistir ao seu frio?	Psalms 147:17 He sends down ice like raindrops: water is made hard by his cold.
Salmos 147:18 Manda a sua palavra, e os derrete; faz soprar o vento, e correm as águas;	Psalms 147:18 At the outgoing of his word, the ice is turned to water; when he sends out his wind, there is a flowing of waters.
Salmos 147:19 ele revela a sua palavra a Jacó, os seus estatutos e as suas ordenanças a Israel.	Psalms 147:19 He makes his word clear to Jacob, teaching Israel his laws and his decisions.
Salmos 147:20 Não fez assim a nenhuma das outras nações; e, quanto às suas ordenanças, elas não as conhecem. Louvai ao Senhor!	Psalms 147:20 He has not done these things for any other nation: and as for his laws, they have no knowledge of them. Let the Lord be praised.
