Proverbi 27:1 Non ti vantare del domani, poiché non sai quel che un giorno possa produrre.	Proverbs 27:1 Do not make a noise about tomorrow, for you are not certain what a day's outcome may be.
Proverbi 27:2 Altri ti lodi, non la tua bocca; un estraneo, non le tue labbra.	Proverbs 27:2 Let another man give you praise, and not your mouth; one who is strange to you, and not your lips.
Proverbi 27:3 La pietra è grave e la rena pesante, ma l’irritazione dello stolto pesa più dell’uno e dell’altra.	Proverbs 27:3 A stone has great weight, and sand is crushing; but the wrath of the foolish is of greater weight than these.
Proverbi 27:4 L’ira è crudele e la collera impetuosa; ma chi può resistere alla gelosia?	Proverbs 27:4 Wrath is cruel, and angry feeling an overflowing stream; but who does not give way before envy?
Proverbi 27:5 Meglio riprensione aperta, che amore occulto.	Proverbs 27:5 Better is open protest than love kept secret.
Proverbi 27:6 Fedeli son le ferite di chi ama; frequenti i baci di chi odia.	Proverbs 27:6 The wounds of a friend are given in good faith, but the kisses of a hater are false.
Proverbi 27:7 Chi è sazio calpesta il favo di miele; ma, per chi ha fame, ogni cosa amara è dolce.	Proverbs 27:7 The full man has no use for honey, but to the man in need of food every bitter thing is sweet.
Proverbi 27:8 Come l’uccello che va ramingo lungi dal nido, così è l’uomo che va ramingo lungi da casa.	Proverbs 27:8 Like a bird wandering from the place of her eggs is a man wandering from his station.
Proverbi 27:9 L’olio e il profumo rallegrano il cuore; così fa la dolcezza d’un amico coi suoi consigli cordiali.	Proverbs 27:9 Oil and perfume make glad the heart, and the wise suggestion of a friend is sweet to the soul.
Proverbi 27:10 Non abbandonare il tuo amico né l’amico di tuo padre, e non andare in casa del tuo fratello nel dì della tua sventura; un vicino dappresso val meglio d’un fratello lontano.	Proverbs 27:10 Do not give up your friend and your father's friend; and do not go into your brother's house in the day of your trouble: better is a neighbour who is near than a brother far off.
Proverbi 27:11 Figliuol mio, sii savio e rallegrami il cuore, così potrò rispondere a chi mi vitupera.	Proverbs 27:11 My son, be wise and make my heart glad, so that I may give back an answer to him who puts me to shame.
Proverbi 27:12 L’uomo accorto vede il male e si nasconde, ma gli scempi passan oltre e ne portan la pena.	Proverbs 27:12 The sharp man sees the evil and takes cover: the simple go straight on and get into trouble.
Proverbi 27:13 Prendigli il vestito giacché ha fatto cauzione per altri; fatti dare dei pegni, poiché s’è reso garante di stranieri.	Proverbs 27:13 Take a man's clothing if he makes himself responsible for a strange man, and get an undertaking from him who gives his word for strange men.
Proverbi 27:14 Chi benedice il prossimo ad alta voce, di buon mattino, sarà considerato come se lo maledicesse.	Proverbs 27:14 He who gives a blessing to his friend with a loud voice, getting up early in the morning, will have it put to his account as a curse.
Proverbi 27:15 Un gocciolar continuo in giorno di gran pioggia e una donna rissosa son cose che si somigliano.	Proverbs 27:15 Like an unending dropping on a day of rain is a bitter-tongued woman.
Proverbi 27:16 Chi la vuol trattenere vuol trattenere il vento, e stringer l’olio nella sua destra.	Proverbs 27:16 He who keeps secret the secret of his friend, will get himself a name for good faith.
Proverbi 27:17 Il ferro forbisce il ferro; così un uomo ne forbisce un altro.	Proverbs 27:17 Iron makes iron sharp; so a man makes sharp his friend.
Proverbi 27:18 Chi ha cura del fico ne mangerà il frutto; e chi veglia sul suo padrone sarà onorato.	Proverbs 27:18 Whoever keeps a fig-tree will have its fruit; and the servant waiting on his master will be honoured.
Proverbi 27:19 Come nell’acqua il viso risponde al viso, così il cuor dell’uomo risponde al cuore dell’uomo.	Proverbs 27:19 Like face looking at face in water, so are the hearts of men to one another.
Proverbi 27:20 Il soggiorno dei morti e l’abisso sono insaziabili, e insaziabili son gli occhi degli uomini.	Proverbs 27:20 The underworld and Abaddon are never full, and the eyes of man have never enough.
Proverbi 27:21 Il crogiuolo è per l’argento, il forno fusorio per l’oro, e l’uomo è provato dalla bocca di chi lo loda.	Proverbs 27:21 The heating-pot is for silver and the oven-fire for gold, and a man is measured by what he is praised for.
Proverbi 27:22 Anche se tu pestassi lo stolto in un mortaio in mezzo al grano col pestello, la sua follia non lo lascerebbe.	Proverbs 27:22 Even if a foolish man is crushed with a hammer in a vessel among crushed grain, still his foolish ways will not go from him.
Proverbi 27:23 Guarda di conoscer bene lo stato delle tue pecore, abbi gran cura delle tue mandre;	Proverbs 27:23 Take care to have knowledge about the condition of your flocks, looking well after your herds;
Proverbi 27:24 perché le ricchezze non duran sempre, e neanche una corona dura d’età in età.	Proverbs 27:24 For wealth is not for ever, and money does not go on for all generations.
Proverbi 27:25 Quando è levato il fieno, subito rispunta la fresca verdura e le erbe dei monti sono raccolte.	Proverbs 27:25 The grass comes up and the young grass is seen, and the mountain plants are got in.
Proverbi 27:26 Gli agnelli ti dànno da vestire, i becchi di che comprarti un campo,	Proverbs 27:26 The lambs are for your clothing, and the he-goats make the value of a field:
Proverbi 27:27 e il latte delle capre basta a nutrir te, a nutrir la tua famiglia e a far vivere le tue serve.	Proverbs 27:27 There will be goats' milk enough for your food, and for the support of your servant-girls.
